Hi, I have a table that contains the first and last names of people and what I’d like to do is to have a field beside this that counts the number of times a first name + last name shows up in the table. This is because it is possible that I can have multiple entries for the same person and I eventually want to extract unique users for use in another table. The first thing I need to do is to identify duplicates, but I’m struggling with this. My approach was to concatenate & lower case the first and last name to get a standardized format to check for duplication. Would appreciate any help on figuring out how to find duplicates in the table. Also, it’s not enough that I just know if a record is a duplicate or not, I need to know how many times it shows up in the table, so some sort of count formula but I can’t seem to figure this out. Hi allI currently use Xero for my accounting (invoicing, billing, credits etc).Airtable is my order management system.I want to be able to create the accounting pipeline (invoices etc) in Airtable and have this upload directly into Xero.If I make an update to any fields in Airtable, I want this to update in Xero where relevant (invoices, bills, credits, contacts).Does anyone have experience with building a Xero equivalent that they could roll out for me? Would want it to link with my bank and handle tax returns etc.Otherwise any links to relevant videos/posts?Xero works well but I want to minimise double data entry and then no need to pay Xero fees.  

Hi All!I have about 10k records in my airtable base, and each have a specific link to a webpage that I regularly check for certain data.  I would love to be able to scrape those pages for the info needed and automatically put it into AT.  Is this possible?  I assume I will have to run a script of some sort, but don't know exactly how to go about that. We are currently updating the 10k records manually, and using some sort of AI would save SO much time!TIA!

Hi! I have a table with companies and a table with contact persons in these companies. The company-table link to the person-table. I have a form in the company-table where companies can enter their data. How can I have them also enter data for contact-person and have that data populate the person-table? When I add the person-field into the form, I only get the possibility to search and pick from existing entries - not adding a new entry. Thanks for any help!

I have a very large, dynamic number of opportunities with a dynamic number of positions available in each opportunity. I want to limit the number of Form submissions to the total number of slots, depending on the opportunity. When registration opens, it’s a mad rush because the spots are first-come first-served. The number of opportunities are too large to monitor manually, and I don't want to deal with the headache of an automated email that says, "sorry, please try again." Its a potential for too many unhappy customers.The Form is currently accessed through a button in an Interface, and I'm curious about the Record > Button: Rules > Visibility feature. Thinking I could hide the button to limit the access to the form (that's half of the challenge), but every time I click on the Visibility toggle, Airtable prompts me to upgrade without an explanation of how that would help. I’ve created a survey form and the text for one of the options for a multiple select question gets cut off. Is there anyway to have the form show the full text besides trying to reword the option to something less wordy?

Trying to import via CSV file Multiple Select Values. I want to import Value1, Value2, Value3 as three separate multiple select items. If I separate the values in the cell of the CSV file with commas I get one item “Value1, Value2, Value3”. is there some delimiter i need to use between seperate values? Thanks.

Is there a way that I can have my employees fill out a form that then shows data they are looking for from a base instead that form inputting data into the base? I have created a table that would be very beneficial to my employees but some are reluctant to use it because they are used to an older system. If I could create a form that makes it very easy to find what they need, that would be wonderful. I see there are some paid 3rd party apps like On2Air that would do this. I assume by the presence of these apps, Airtable does not have this functionality but figured I'd ask when my searches on the community yielded no results.  Thank you for all your time 

I'm trying to set up a formula that will give me the date of "Monday" relative to a given record's date. So if a record was dated today Wed June 21, I'd want the formula to give me Mon June 19.I've done some searching on the forum here and found this formula: DATEADD(Date,1-DATETIME_FORMAT(Date,'E'),'day')But I'm having some issues with it—it's returning the date of Sunday, not Monday, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to adjust it!Does anybody know how I might fix this? Looking for some help with the new Form Builder tool.I have upgraded a couple of forms for external users and all seems well expect for one thing (so far) - I am not able to manually sort a Linked Record type field.In the old form design (created in Data) we would use "Limit record selection to a view" and that view would be sorted the way the data should appear eg. by date, earliest to latest.Now we don't select a Data view but put filters on the field, as you would in Interfaces. I cannot locate a Sort function to go with the filter.Is this an oversight in the update? Or is there something I'm missing? Any one else found this to be a problem?Any help is greatly appreciated.

As of right now the inventory department at my company relies on paper forms and it was recently requested that we digitize the form. I don’t need the form to actually place the order, I just need filled out forms to be sent to the inventory manager. However, as I dove into the process, I hit a wall. Is there a good way to convert the attached form into an airtable form?

I've tried to work my way around this problem several ways and I can't seem to figure it out... I have a nested IF statement that uses a value from a text lookup field that just doesn't want to play nice. Essentially, I have a formula title for a record that should work like thisIF {single select}= "A", {text1} & " - " & {text2}, IF {single select} = "B" & {lookupfield} = Not Empty, {text1} & " - " & {lookupfield}, {text1}))I can't get the lookup text to cooperate and express itself as not empty (or empty). I tried T(), BLANK(), and COUNTA(), and even though in a separate formula field COUNTA() gives me 1 and 0, trying to incorporate that into the overall formula doesn't work. I get that the lookup field isn't actually text... I'm going crazy trying to figure this one out.

I have an order table which contains all of the records of an order. I want to get order confirmation from my customers for their order.I am creating their order by using another form in my order table. Then, I want to visulize these datas, put a button under it (which is confirmation button) then send the link to my customer to see order details, order summary and to get their confirmation via that button.Is that possible? Or how can i do it?

I am trying to create a form (must be a form to avoid licensing/orgfencing issues) that a seller will use to nominate 1-n users. I figured I would use conditional text to add the next nomination (i.e., if they fill in the first nominee -- more than one piece of information -- the option for a second would appear, and so on).Is there a way for a single form to create multiple records in my table?

In our Interfaces, we rely a lot on our 'Record Detail' layouts, as this is where we display everything about a project, as I'm sure most users do.We have our data in groups, but it would be great (and seems fairly universal) if there was a clean way to be able to collapse and expand these Groups like an accordion in order to clean up the overall layout, especially when we are displaying lists of tasks, project milesotnes, etc. on one page.Thoughts / Workarounds?Note: We do have conditional groups depending on project types, things hide and show, but I mean a physical way to click to collapse groups into stacks or similar.Cheers!

Hi There! I'm currently using Airtable as a mini database for my designs without images. I'm a novice Airtable user and am using it a glorified spreadsheet, but I know it can do so much more! I would like to add all the images of my designs to Airtable, sort the images (drag and drop, if possible) into collections (without losing their associated data), and then, export them into visual templates.I'm a surface pattern designer. My templates of each collection show each pattern with some general information like title and SKU along with the title of the collection, and how to contact me.I don't mind exploring help articles, but I'm not even sure if what I want to do is possible or where I would begin. Any support or suggestions are welcome. I'm currently using a free version of Airtable and am aware that this might require an upgrade due to both storage

I'm sure there is a way to do this, I just can't think of the way the write the "logic" for it in automations... Hopefully someone can help me understand 🙂 My rows have a date as the primary field. I have a long text field columns called "Notes for next training" and "Notes from last training". When I create a new row (new date), I'd like the text from "next training" of the most recent date (in the past) to be copy/pasted/imported into the "last training" column in the new entry.I did it manually for this screenshot, just to illustrate what I would like to happen automatically. 

I cannot use the " Run Script " function under the Automation Tab, even when the team's plan is activated. It's asking me to upgrade to a Business Plan. Please help

I am trying to create an automation that updates a record when certain conditions are met:Let's say I am evaluating my retail inventory and want to identify inventory boxes requiring certain follow up tasks: I created a Box Flags field to aggregate a few different record fields into 2 flags: boxes that need to be replaced, and boxes that need their contents separated. I have created an automation to update records for the first flag, but am struggling with the conditions for the second. I only want the "separate contents" flag on boxes with more than one field value. "Has any of" retrieves all boxes, "has all of" requires a tedious number of conditions to capture every combo of values, "is exactly" and "is/is not empty" don't apply. 

I want to create a users table. This will be tied to the users who have access. I already have a projects table which i can easily assign owners via the people who have access to the base, similar with tasks connected to those projects (this works fine), my problem is i cant create a table of team members who are on the base using the information from who has access to the base and then group by owners to show what projects they own.I have done this in a hacky way but it seems it doesn't update when i add new projects so thinking if there's other ways of doing this

Hi,I've been using the new airtable form builder.In order to identify different form users, I created a Form Source field to be pre-filled with the user type, and created a custom link. When the field Form Source is visible, there is no problem - the right data is pre-filled in the field. But when I hide the field in the form settings, the data is not populated. I remember this working great in form view previously, not sure why it is not working using form builder. Any solutions?

I've already seen several other posts about this so I assume I am not alone. We have been using Airtable for 4+ years and we simply want to switch to Enterprise to add capacity. I've submitted the contact form at least 4 times now. I would happily throw money at the problem if only they would let me.Has anyone successfully been able to do this or is everyone seemingly ignored by Airtable?
