Hello all! I created a conditional logic automation. When I test the automation, it works perfectly. However, when it comes to actually running the automation on its own, it doesn't work. Any suggestions?(When I create each one individually in its own automation, it works perfectly. However, I've hit the limit of new automations that I can create so I'm trying to consolidate using conditional logic)Below is a screen shot of the run history (that is blank) and how it runs successfully whenever I select "Test automation." PS. I'm doing this automation and have so many automations because I get reminders to do this 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days before a start date that's on my table. These reminders were all separate automations at first and worked perfectly. But doing the same thing using conditional logic doesn't work. Hopefully this was clear.

Hello --I have a base that I have created that my coworkers use in Kanban view. I would like to assign keyboard shortcuts to the various "Add Record" buttons for each column in the view. Is there a way to do this? It would vastly accelerate our ability to use the table when additional detail beyond category is not needed for each record.

I have a group database on airtable that I am trying to clean up and make more efficient using some automations.  Here is the flow: input group details into database, send a bid, send a contract, input into pms, get rooming list and input into pms,  send invoice, receive credit card authorization, take payment, send front desk instructions, send invoice for commissions, depart the group.  Here are my thoughts that I would like input on from the folks who know their stuff.  1.  Is it better to manage the flow through views or tables? My thought was to have all of the data that I need in a 'group details' table, then have a 'bid/contract', 'roominglist', 'Invoice' and 'FD instruction' tables.  I would then automatically move it through each table of the process based on a check mark or an attachment of a contract for instance. This would keep it clean as each step would then have it's own calculations that would pull from the data on the 'grou

Hello All,I am creating a form to compile completed project data from a small architectural firm.  One field in the form links directly to an existing table of consultants.  When that field is selected, the list of consultants is visible and selectable but once an actual consultant is selected the box never seems to populate and the 'thinking' circle just spins.Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?Thanks!

I use several different forms that let users update field values. Upon submission a new record is created in an UPDATES table and the associated record is updated in the ASSETS table. This is accomplished using Kuovonne's Prefilled Form extension.Note that if a user submits this form and the field value on the form is empty, then the associated existing value in the ASSETS table will now be empty as well, which is expected. To prevent this, I can make that field in the form mandatory in order to submit, so it contains a value.However, I am facing a situation where there are six or so fields that a user may want to update -- but may only want to update some of those fields. Is there a way to add conditional code with this logic?:Upon submitting the form     - For each field that is empty - do nothing     - Else, execute

Is there a way to set the default formatting for currency fields (or for that matter other number fields) either per base or per account/workspace?Every time I create a new currency field I have to manually change $ to £ and set the decimal places. This is tedious

We have a base where users go to print documentation from specific records.Nobody is supposed to be changing the Page Designer instance at all, but I think people are accidentally adding or moving fields when they access the extension.1) Is there any way to identify who made changes to the Page Designer configuration?2) Is there any way to limit who is allowed to edit the Page Designer configuration?Currently all editors are able to edit the configuration, and I don't see any way to change it - I'm really hoping I'm just missing something.Thanks! 😊

Hi! Is it possible to hide a field from an end-user form, but still be able to see it in my table view?That is to say, I need the field for internal information, but I do not want my customers to see that field when they fill out the form. Thanks!

Hi Everyone!I'm relatively new to AirTable and figured this might be a question for you all! For context... I work with people who don't always reply to their emails or often miss conversations that we need their input on. Which means process get delayed when I don't get the answers quickly. That's okay though!Anyways, I'm looking to create a prefilled form link that can list out all the questions in one place and constantly update. My idea is that those who answer the questions immediately will only see the most recent while those who miss emails or don't reply will see all of the questions they have not answered. The first part, generating the prefilled form link I figured out.Now I for my ask for you folks - Is there a way I can conditionally hide fields if they answered the question in the past in the custom link. I'll use the example of one of my questions being "Vehicle" I know it won't be as easy but imagine their is a something like '&if'{vehicle}'

Dear Community, I have a trouble to hide a field with conditions in form view and I’m losing my mind with this. My goal logic is like this: HIDE field 3, when field 1 contains “word” AND field 2 is not empty. But form view has only option to show field with conditions. How I can make this field disappear with show field conditions ? Trying to invert the logic do not work: show field 3, when field 1 does not contain “word” AND field 2 is empty. Any ideas ?

Hey all I have a table where I have many hidden fields. I want to have a field only visible if a certain condition is true. Is there some kind of IF statement functionality that can conditionally toggle between showing/hiding the field if certain conditions are true? Thanks C

Hi,How can I change the order of the appearance for a field's records on an interface page?The field shows a linked table's records for a contact (calls made), and I'm using show as = 'Field' and style = 'Cards'. Here's a picture of it:I want the newest to show above the older ones, adding to the older ones when entering new records.I had this working already, and can't remember how I did it. After a sudden change yesterday (don't know what happened, all of the sudden the field's appearance changed completely), I can't get it back 😢.Rgds,BjörnPS. I am new to AirTable automations, so kindly excuse my basic nature of questions and problems.Please refer to the attached screenshot to see what the description below refers to.When testing an automation, I am expecting the “Update record” action to NOT be executed due to the "IF Condition" preceding the action.For this, before I click on “Test automation” button, I am setting the API_Response = ‘record rollback complete’ and Status = ‘record rollback’.However, the test Output on the right hand side panel shows the condition evaluated to TRUE, when clearly the input section shows the API_Response and Status values were such that it should have evaluated to FALSE.I need help to understand why this is happening and how can I set the If Condition so that the desired result is achieved.Thanks in advance.

Has anyone figured out how to move an AirTable table onto an SQL database. I use Air-table for everything, but I’m starting to run into issues with the 100 record limit that Airtable imposes. Unfortuntely, it is a proprietary plugin making the API requests and it generates an error when the user retrieves over 100 records at a time (leaving many records blank). Does anyone have codebase or ideas on how to ‘sync’ Airtable records into an SQL database, which can then be queried by a web app that displays dynamic content. I don’t want to move away from Airtable as a CMS because its so easy for other project collaborators to use for data entry.

I built a dashboard on an Airtable interface, but I feel constrained in several instances because of the relatively low visualization capabilities of Airtable built-in interface. For example, I can't have the Map extension be displayed on my dashboard.So I'd like to explore other options. What would the go-to tool you'd recommend for data visualization?

Hi, I have an interface where I want to sort produced goods that i´ve grouped several times. First group is "production month" and second group is "production day" and then they are sorted by the hour. In default, the groups are sorted from oldest to newest and I can´t seem to reverse this with the "sort" option in edit mode. An example: Produced goods:2024-09-10 10:00 and 12:002024-09-10 15:00 and 17:002024-10-20 11:00 and 14:002024-10-30 16:00 and 18:00I want to be able to group them firstly by month, so I can display one month at a time in the list on the left. Then I want to group them by day, so I can display one day at a time in that month. Lastly I want the records to be sorted from newest to oldest in that day. These things I have achieved. What I cant do is to sort the months and the days in order of newest to oldest. This

I have two different tables in one data base.Table A has a list of unique topics, and each of them is sorted into 'Categories' (via a single select column), and has linked records (from Table B), which represent unique people (it's a formula column though).Table B has the list of unique people (formula column), and I'd like to create multiple columns, one for each category in Table A, to break up the topics corresponding to each person, by category.When I create a second linked record for Topics in Table B, filtering by value, it's fully independent from my first linking (vs showing a subset of it). See attached.The output I would like is, for row 1 in Table B, to see "Topic A" listed in the `Topic - X Category` column. Is there a way to do that?Thank you so much! 

Hi, I would like to import a CVS file into my base and write an automation to adapt the file to my base on airtable. For example: the title of the colums are different on each, some info need to be extracted but others not. Does someone have a script for that ?  Thank you so much !

I'm trying to set up an automation in a base that will manage grant application and status reporting deadlines. I want the trigger to be when the field linking to the program is updated to automatically assign the appropriate team members. My setup is below, and the automation says it ran successfully, but it did not perform the action. What am I doing wrong? 

Hi all, So, i’m testing the pro plan to see if creating an invoice might be possible. I see that it is possible even though blocks like page designer are not extensive. The problem is this. Let’s say i make one so from every record i can have an invoice. Is it possible to get this invoice (pdf) back into the table of the record? The person i am making this for only works from his phone for his company and i’m trying to improve his workflow. Otherwise would there be options where i can generate a link as part of the record and then through zapier and some pdf service create an invoice. I saw online that this is possible and for setting up it would be oke to do it on a desktop but in practice this all needs to be setup so it can be access it throught a mobile phone (preferable the Airtable app).

I’ve made an invoice system in airtable. I now need to export to send to a client. However I need my invoice to follow a certain naming convention to be able to use for later. I’ve made a function field to takes care of that. I can PDF from the print prompt and name my document, but I need to copy/paste the name from my function field every time. Is there a way to automatically name my PDF based on my function field?

Hi, I am trying to use REST API to retrieve data from a base that includes both the records from a primary table and the linked records from a related table in a single request.  Is there a way to obtain this data in just one API call? Know that in SQL, a single query can fetch data from multiple tables in one request, but Airtable has me stumped. Any guidance is much appreciated. Thanks in advance. 

Recently I have issue with my JIRA integration (JIRA cloud) table "Intenal sync error".So I have this sync table on Airtable for JIRA tickets that had been working fine:1. We have a master table of items2. We have a sync table from JIRA3. In the master table, there are a link to record field to the JIRA table: we can track tickets relating to the items.Yesterday, I did some revision of fields on master table as well as table permission, I did not modify the synced table. Later on, I noticed the synced table is not working anymore. I tried to revert the setting of permission on fields and tables. On 1 try it worked and then not working again eventhough nothing is changed. I have also tried to create a new sync table but it only works for the first time. It was actually quite bizzare.Hope you have some experience with this or able to lend me some he

I have a Search records Airtable module in Make, which, given the same data, sometimes searches for a record correctly and sometimes not. Have you encountered such a situation? What could this be caused by? The data is literally identical in both cases.
