Hello! I currently am using Make to funnel in data from a webhook and then create a record in airtable. My goal currently is to be able to display Events per hour for each day of the week, I am essentially trying to recreate the table in the screenshot below:I've been playing with it for the last few days but am struggling with the best way to accomplish this. I believe one of my issues is that the "Date-Time" isn't explicitly coming from the webhook and rather just Airtables "Date" data type with the "Use current Date". Just looking for any guidance/nudges in the right direction on how I could accomplish recreating the table below. . 

Hi all!I am currently working on a base in which our staff members will be able to fill out their weekly timesheets. I live in Canada and here the standard hours of work is set to 8 hours in a day and 40 hours in a week.In our company, the standard hours of work for a week is set to 35 hours. Any worked time that goes between 70 and 80 at the end of each Pay Period (2 weeks) is put in a bank. I can't figure out how to properly sum those hours without creating an astronomical amount of fields so I need your help.In my base (which is in French) I have 6 tables :Feuilles de temps (=Timesheets) which is linked to Pay Periods, People, Days and Projects

Hi,I need some help with an issue I'm facing. I have a formula field called "Order Quantities" and a "Meal Quantities" field (Long Text) that references it. I'm using the Fillout form to gather customer information. Hi! I'm trying to create a formula for the following columns:1: First Name2: Last Name3: Pen Namewhere If "Pen Name" is blank, use "First Name + Last Name". I keep getting stuck somewhere and getting invalid formula errors. 

Is there a way to see/track who has made edits to a formula or field? This feature is very helpful for viewing individual records, but it'd be even better if I could view who is changing formulas.

We are a medical practice and often use fax as a way to communicate securely to our referral network. Is there fax capability built in Airtable? If so, how do I do this? If not, is there a way to setup faxing via a third party application?

Hi Airtable Community,I have two table named "Task Assignment" and "Employees". I have linked the Employees table to the Task Assignment table using a linked record called "Assignee". Now I want to send an email every time I add a task inside the "Task Assignment" table. I have added a lookup field in the "Task Assignment" but is is not available in the automations.Please let me know how to tackle the issue. Thanks

I’ve created a dizzying array of lookups, rollups, and formulas to finally arrive at a result, which is in a formula field. I want to copy this text string result into a text field that can be displayed and edited on a public form (long text or short text). I know how to “pull” results into a new field using formulas, lookups, and rollups. But how do I assign a value to a text field that can be used in a public form? How do I “push” my result into the field? Thanks!

Hi everyone,I work for a higher education University using an enterprise account. For approving communications and other projects, it would improve our workflow if I could share a view and allow the Stakeholder to click a button that would approve the project/communication and move it to the next stage. Another option would be if there was some sort of "reply APPROVED" option to an email that would automatically insert "APPROVED" into a field in Airtable.Is any of this possible?Thanks!Nick

I have a base that has a number of junction tables. For example a product links to a product assembly item that links to a product assembly with multible product assembly items which links to an estimate.Its very cumbersom to have to go through each of these tables and use the forms to add data to each indivdual table. I wanted to create a single form that lets a  user select products and then creates all the related junction tables.I was wondering if anyone had any work arounds for being able to add data to multible tables from a form.  Right now forms do not allow for record creation or buttons with scripts, making it hard to create a new junction table entry that relates to the record being created.The only work around I can see is to create a seperate dummy " input table" that has a number of records related to each ipnut action I would like. Here's a weird one. So I had am automation set up using the airtable "Slack: Send a message" action and it always worked great. I add the slack workspace account, authorize, then it shows a chanel list of all chans, I pick my chan in the workspace. Good. We created a completely new slack workspace since our product got split to another business and now I need to make this message get sent to the NEW Slack workspace. Simple. Go into the automation, remove the old Slack workspace integration, add the new one with the NEW slack URL and new user/pass, and then... wait... It is showing the OLD slack channel list from the old workspace. The channels are totally different so I must have made a mistake. I remove the "Slack: Send a message" action completely, then to Account -> Integrations section to remove the integration from my entire airtable profile. I notice that this integration DOES show the name of the NEW company, which isn't looking promising (since that mea

Hi all,I'm here again with my automation not working correctly. The last time I was having this problem, it was because the automation was set to trigger on "Create new record." Having learned from that, I created this automation using a checkbox field update as the trigger. I just cannot see what I'm doing wrong.I'll admit there's a problem with my trigger table - the Primary field is not being used properly. It was set up by my designer and I can't change it mid-season. Is that the problem? Is there any workaround?It's just creating blank records.

I'm getting a redundant record when using the For Each [multi-select] create record on a Form is created trigger. Simply delete or is there a better way?Fee Table, 'Add Fee' Form has a multi-select 'Fee Type' field (advance on signature, advance on delivery, advance on publication, royalty)Automation trigger 'When a form is created', with a  For Each [Fee Type] create record. Works beautifully apart from the initial record which has all of the multi-select options. I used Kuovonne's delete record script to delete this redundant record which is clean and fast.But feels like a workaround - like I missed a lesson at school. Any pointers?  

Hi folks,We've been linking records with a barcode scanner for several years and it abruptly stopped working as of last week. I haven't checked the scanner settings in a long time, but my recollection is that in essence the scanner reads out a string and does a carriage return to simulate hitting enter. We scan into linked fields, which have records matching the string names. If I copy a failed scan result out into a text file I can paste it back in and the same thing happens. If I open the "search" option in the link field and paste the result, it does pull up a matching link that I can select and then it works correctly. I suspect something changed about Airtable's behavior, as we had no problem with this before. Anybody have advice on how to address this? I will try to change the barcode scanner to not do the carriage return, as hopefully that will let us do the link match manually. That will certainly slow down our workflow though. Reg

Hi!I'd like to view at a glance the date a base last updated. It's impractical to create a "modified time" for every single field on every single table, since I don't know which field would last have been touched in a given base. Is there somewhere I can see that information?Use case? I'm new to the org and trying to clean up a bunch of data sources. I don't always know which team created the base and whether or not it is actively being used.Thanks!

Hi! very new to using Airtable. I am trying to find out if it’s possible to use Airtable to populate users profiles for a small 30 members community. I am trying to display name, title, image, etc.. or would I be better using something I am more familiar with like Supabase. any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Steve 

I have an automation triggered by a record matches condition which is linked to a formula field. The automation executes a Script step after which updates fields that in turn reset the trigger field to "0". However  once the trigger condition is TRUE i get multiple executions of the automation in my automation log. Why?I have async operations in my script...could that be the cause for airtable triggering the automation multiple times before the first automation run finished?

Hello therei have an automation that was working fine, now when i try to test it, i can't get past the trigger. the trigger works, but when i try to evaluate the conditions for the first action group (or any other action group) i get an error instead of an "yes, matches conditions" or "no, doesn't match conditions". strangely, this automation worked until now. is the error possible related to airtable general maintenance or issues and not to my automation at all. or do you guys know what kind of conditions throw such an error instead of getting evaluated. very strange 😞

New to Airtable, hoping someone can point me the right direction.I am building a database of Aus Music Chart history. I have an Excel sheet that has columns like Song, Artist, Year, Position, etc. As a test, I've copied and pasted some 3000 rows/records into an Airtable table. (Yes, overquota on the free plan for now.)What I want to do now is create another table for Genre that will automatically update the 'master' table (as describe above) based on an Artist's name. So, for instance, if I enter The Beatles > Pop in the Genre table, it will automatically assign the value 'Pop' into the master table wherever Artist = 'The Beatles'. Does that make sense? I've played around with relationship/linked Lookup fields, but the best result I've had is having to re-input the Artist name in a separate field -- i.e. it's not automatic. Hi y’all. I’m breaking my head over the next automation.I want to copy records from one table (A) to another (B) or update existing records in table B (Input table=A ; Copy table=B)Input Table A is using the import excel possibility. This is raw data from another source. In order to import correctly i’ll have to empty table A every time before importing the new data. Not using this function is out of the option because certain data fields disappear when trying to copy paste. My solution so far:Automation 1: when imported i create linked field to table B and let the automation update this field with the filenumber (unique) from table A. Thus A&B are linked. after deleting the data in A, with the next import this wil link A back to B no matter it’s position. Automation 2: via lookup fields from table A in table B i copy then to the fields in table B. So when the data in Table A is deleted, this wil not delete the data in

Hey Team,Whilst i"m no stranger to formulas I am new to Airtable and would love some help with a project. First an automation where I can enter a number in one table and it will create that number in records in another table. To put it into context, I am a Dog Breeder, I have created a table for my Studs & Dams and also for their Litters (Projects). I have a column in the Projects referring to number of puppies and I want the automation to create Puppy Profiles for each puppy. So if they have four, I want four Puppy Profiles created. The automation I have used so far is "When a record matches condition" in which I have used 'if project name is not empty', and 'if DOB is not empty' then create Puppy Profile but i want to add script so it adds for example '4' records because their are 4 puppies.  Could anyone help me to write my first script? 🙏In my second screenshot I would ideally love for the Project name and DOB to populate as

I am new in Airtable and i need hepl with the following:I have 3 original  tables ("Contact", "Structure" and "Management") in my base. I need a table showing all fields of each table as a summary. The base is still developing so I might add fields in the original tables (for example "Email Adress" in "Contact").I created a new table called "complete database", linked it to the three original tables and added lookup fields for all the fields from the original tables. Now I realized that, if I add a new field in an original table it is not automatically added to the "complete database".Is there another option? If i summarize the tables in a new synchronized base ... how do can I put them all into one table?thank you for helping!Julia
