Begun playing around with interfaces on Airtable. Is there a way to integrate a map view onto an individual record? You can see an example below that would make sense.

Trying to automate our UPC code generation (not the barcode image). We have our company prefix, and I know how to do the check sum. What I can’t figure out in AT is to process the current numbers already used/assigned in our block, and see what is the first missing number in the sequence. So we should have 10K numbers in our block, 00000 - 99999. We have used random numbers in past, all done manually. I would like to do this automatically in future by looking at that above sequence, removing anything that has been used, and then using the lowest number possible to start auto assigning SKU’s to projects moving forward. If this needs to be a script, can it be run by a button and/or an automation triggered by conditions?

I am using Airtable to manage a sales pipeline. I have created a sales dashboard using interfaces which reads across all opportunities. I want to be able to create quarterly and monthly reports by duplicating this dashboard and then filtering the records it reads to a specific date range.I can't seem to find the option for filtering a dashboard at the global level - does it exist?

Hi everyone!I'm trying to organize my sales data in my Airtable base.I add the data through CSV upload. For every day of sales I add I add a new column to my sales data table.Now I want to run automatic calculations on the data. To give an example: if sales for a particular product are decreasing for a few days in a row I want to make this visible in Airtable, or automatically send an email as a warning. Now the problem is that if you create calculations to do this you do that for the existing columns, but every day I'm adding a new column to the table, so than the calculation won't include the newest data.Does anyone know how to deal with this?

Hi Airtable team!Not sure if this is the right place for reporting bugs.I'm also aware that the features being released are all still a work in progress.I have a Kanban interface that is sorted by a date field. It works great on desktop, but not on mobile. On mobile, the records are still sorted alphabetically. I also like the feature on desktop where we're able to hide empty stacks which also has not translated over to mobile yet.I also wouldn't mind if the mobile Kanban looked the same as desktop and we just had to scroll to the right to see more stacks.Again, if improving some of the mobile experience is something already being worked on, that's great! Just wanted to bring attention to the "sorting bug" specifically.

Hi,I'd like to insert the error message into a field, so I used try catch with both of them updating a variable, which I then used to update the field. Weird; it only updated on success, not on error. Odd one, but I've noticed it a couple of times in the last week, so I wonder if it's a quirk of a new update.Basically I have a Status dropdown with a default option applied, called PlannedOne view that has some filters, including "If {dropdown} = ARCHIVE: Amendment"There is no grouping for the dropdown options in this view.Yet, when I create a new record it defaults to ARCHIVE: Amendment.This is how the filters are setup. Anyone know why this is? It's very frustrating. Is this a bug?

I want to set available appointments in one field but I don't want to add them manually because there is a lot of them. Is there any change that I can add them with automation? Otherwise I have to pick every single one of them on calendar and also pick a time.Thanks for your help.

Hi there! I am trying to create a form that will allow someone to book a specific desk for a specific period of time. I would like to be able to automate the form to A) Remove a desk as an option if it's already been booked during a specific time period and B) Add it back as an available option after the specific time period has ended. Example:  We have desk ABC and desk DEF available. Person 1 goes to the form and books desk ABC from May 10-12. Person 2 goes to the form looking to book a desk from May 10-12: desk ABC will not be an option because it's already been booked during that time period so they book the available desk DEF. Person 3 goes to the form to book a desk for May 13 and both desk ABC and desk DEF are once again available for booking.  I am stuck on how to get this set up via a condition or formula and any help would be appreciated! 

Hello!Anyone have an idea as to why my line graph is a bunch of scribbles? I want to chart number of applicants to specific majors overtime from term to term. The terms are in the correct chronological order on the x-axis, but for some reason the lines start in random terms and jump to other random terms.Thank you for any help!

Hey allBeen working with the new Dashboard option and so far I have had a positive experience. One thing that I seem to have lost is the ability to link to a sidesheet record detail like I can in other Interface page.For example, I have an interface page that is just a list and I am able to open a detail sidesheet from that interface page using a URL like this:  https://airtable.com/apptXXXXXXXXXXXXX/pagXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/recXXXXXXXXXXXXXX?tableId=tblXXXXXXXXXXXXXX  Which is great, I can hand out that link and people will go to the interface page and the sidesheet opens for the record.It looks like I am unable to do that with the new Dashboard page. Is that correct? Or is there another way to do that?Cheers! 

I have a table of projects. Associated with each project is multiple teams and multiple quarters. Both the quarters and teams fields are sourced from linked records.I would like automation (or script) to create related projects in another table, one per multiselect field combination. I've tried creating a script with ChatGPT, but no luck. I also so some other solutions in the community that were similar, but not quite the same as my situation. Any suggestions? 

Today our team were all stopped from being able to create Tasks on our Active Cases. This is done via a Linked Field. When trying to create a new Task, all the team received the error message "You are not permitted to perform this operation". A few details below if they're helpful:All the team have Editor level access. I have Creator and only I and the Base Owner are still able to create Tasks as normalThe Team exclusively access our Airtable database via InterfacesAll Team members have permissions to create and edit on both tables and these have been triple-checked. They have all been happily creating Tasks since the start of June with no problems and no settings have changed.All users access our Airtable base via the Google Chrome browser on PC. Is there any way that I can print (to PDF) my fully weekly calendar view on one page? I’ve tried just doing File-Print, then landscape mode and shrinking to fit to one page, but it only shows me four days out of seven. What I’m trying to achieve is that I have been speaking with AT about getting at least a read-only Calendar week view in the iOS app, but until that happens, I’d like to have a PDF that I could then add to my digital planner and mark up by hand and consult when I’m on my iPad (desktop mode on iPad is clunky). I want to link specific words (like "Click here") in one of my tables to a cell in another table in the same database. "Copying the Cell URL" does work... for those who have an Airtable account. I need "the public" to be able to follow that link from the webpage where I have this table embedded.I've been researching this for hours and can't find anything. What am I missing? 

Hi, I am generating a URL by concatenating a URL string and then the Airtable record ID. Between my URL string and that ID, there is always a byte mark like “%EF%BB%BF” added (for example, when using the URL in an email automation). Any way to remove that since the URL leads to a 404 otherwise?

Hi everyone, New to Airtable but love it so far, and am hoping to have the following question answered. I am creating a project / task tracker for my team, ultimately going to create an interface which would have the following hierarchy:Project > Tasks > Subtasks. I know I only have 3 levels so I'm trying to display the DRI name under the Subtask table in order for me to group it correctly. I created the correct tables which are linked properly (I think). Here is my question: How can I mirror the DRI in my Project table to auto-populate in my task and subtask tables? This will help me group my views properly. Thank you

Hi there,I’m using the Interface timeline view to display lots of events that happen over a 2-week period in October 2024. However, for some reason the total date range visible in the timeline view is 1st Feb24 until 20th Jan25 – which means the horizontal scrollbar is tiny, and very difficult to use. I have to scroll very carefully left and right to find my 2 week period. Does anyone know what defines the date range please ? And more importantly, does anyone know how to change it ? I want ONLY my two week period to be viewable, with no ability to scroll to dates before or after. All thoughts gratefully received, thank you !
