Hi, I need help. I have an automation that is triggered at a scheduled time and the action finds records based on a view of my grid. The grid is displaying all of the correct fields. Yesterday this automation stopped showing fields that are multiple select but show all other fields. I retested the trigger and action without any errors, and I hid and unhid these multiple select fields and turned the automation off and on. Not sure what else to do to get the multiple select fields to display on the automation as they used to. 

how can i export my data from airtable in json format ?

I've been trying to do this in way too many ways. I haven't figured it out ChatGPT and Bard haven't figured it out so I though I would ask actual people 😁I'm making an api call to usaspending.gov and am able to to get the information I want returned, but I can't figure out how to use the data I'm pulling down to create multiple records based on the objects returned. Is anyone else frustrated with Airtable's lack of full base download and limited storage space for a respective paid tier?Major issues that need to be corrected:I upgraded from Free to Plus but got no warning that this tier would still leave me with storage over limit.No way to directly reach sales to switch from Plus to Pro tier for first year promo offer that I saw before upgrading.No way to do a full base download.No way to download actual attachments as part of a CSV export.No way to get a quick overview of attachments by file size to find the top resource hogs and delete them.I get that any service wants to lock you into their service and features but this feels overly manipulative.  Anyone have any luck with getting any sort of timely response from their sales and/or support?

Hey guys, Is 2GB files the most I can upload, or that’s just the maximum amount of files that can be stored in one base? If I delete that record/file, will I free my space, or that’s just the maximum I can upload, no matter if I delete files or not. Thanks

Hey ATeam, My base is synced with an online app to schedule and send content to whatsapp groups. the app that i work with has a limit of 2MB per upload file. so Im limited and looking for an option to compress attachments based on their file size which the general rule is that the file could not exceed 2MB. Ill be happy to get any thoughts or ideas on how to resolve that, an be able to compress files that are larger that 2MB. using automations, scripts or extension or any other Idea that you might have. Thanks 🙂

Can I set-up AirTable to use the German number format which uses comma (,) for decimal place and dot(.) for thousand separator ? I mostly hace to create reports which require german formatting. It’s a real pain to download in excel and reformat it. Thanks

Hello I have found a way to export a tabel to google sheets. The only problem I have is the attachmet. When I open the file in Google Sheet I can see a kind of Link in the attachmet-field. That's not what I want. I want to see the real images here. Is ther an other way to export from Airtable to Google sheets including real picturesthanks

Hello, I need help figuring out what I am doing wrong. In the main table, I track daily work, and in the other table, I track inventory. There is created a link record from the main table to the inventory table. From the main table, I am selecting the available items for sale. What I would like the automation to do is find the records that I have assigned and copy the quote number from my main table to the inventory table. I know I can do a lookup the problem is that I have too many records that would have to backlog. Here is what I am trying to accomplish with the automation, but it keeps failing. After I update that Quote Number field and select the items from the inventory table, I am triggering the automation from the checkbox field. Main table view: Inventory table (Resale Items) view: It finds the records. Automation fails, even though it finds the Record IDs.

Hi, I'm sure this question has already been asked but still can't find an easy answer. It seems as though it should be quite simple but I can't wrap my head around it.As per the screenshot, I would like to automatically combine Linked Record entries from multiple fields into 1 field. The 1 combined field needs to keep this data as Linked Records, and not as formula text.The  Linked Records are from another Table in the same base.So basically, if this automation or formula was setup properly - the "ALL COMPLETED PROJECTS" field would contain 3 Linked Records: "Pen", "Pal" and "Pol".Is this possible?

Not sure if this would be a roll up field, script, or automation but I am trying to combine multiple linked record fields into one linked record field automatically. For example: One record has multiple linked fields “Assignment 1”, “Assignment 2”, “Assignment 3”, ect. and I want them to all be shown in an “All Assignments” linked field automatically. Is this possible?

Hi, I have a column where the tax of products is being calculated and in the field I have the formula to calculate the tax since it is the same for every product that can be taxed. I have certain products that do not include tax, so how to do write out a formula, or override my current one so these products do not automatically calculate the tax. Thanks!

I have a Purchase Order table and an Expenses table that when records are created and automation pulls the records into the Budgets MASTER LIST using roll up and look up fields. Each Budget is allocated to a department (Autism Liaison, Events, IT & Comms etc etc ) so the Primary field for Budgets MASTER LIST is a forumula using IF to pull in the lookup Budget ID from each entry so I can group the entries by Budget ID. (hope this makes sense so far).I also have another table that lists all Budget Categories (called Annual Budgets) that contains the annual budget amount and on this table I need to show running balance - remaining budget etc etc (don't worry about that I have already set that up), BUT it relys on having the linked field in the Budgets MASTER LIST to do this.So, all I need is each time a new record is created in Budgets MASTER LIST, rather than me having to manually select the linked field 'Annual Budets' and select the budget related to it, is there any way I can say

Hello,I am assessing Airtable as a method to store data that will be used to control a contact centre system.This system will use REST API calls to retrieve data in JSON format.This works ok but I am a bit confused about the Checkbox record type, which seems to be a boolean type, does not act as such for API queries.If the Checkbox is ticked the JSON response contains the filed name and a value of true. If the Checkbox is not ticked the JSON response does not contain the field name. My expectation would be that the JSON response should contain the field name and a value of false.Not having this will cause the parsing of the JSON response to be more complex than I would like. I will have to code for the key:value pair being missing rather than a simple true/false situation.Is there any reason for this working the way it does? How have others coped with this design quirk? 

i have a script step in an automation that i have been using for many weeks. it has been working as expected- with many runs per day. i've been rebuilding some automations, so i've been running them a lot as i test them. just now, the automation stalled out and finally failed:FailAn unexpected error occurred, please contact Airtable support.When i tried to test the script, i received this error:ERRORThere was an unexpected error while executing your script.the script in question is: output.set("date", new Date().toISOString()) I started using this script in December to replace having a "Today" field that used the Today formula. I use the script to update a field that displays when the last automated activity took place. it is used in many automations and all are now failing. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

We are an Enterprise user and heavily dependent on Airtable Automations working.On Monday, Airtable automations had an unreported outage and performance issue spanning over 12 hours that went unreported on status.airtable.com.Support made us aware of a fix after 12 hours.Now, 2 days later, automations are now failing again and pending.This is unacceptable to Enterprise users and we expect issues like this to be resolved within an hour at the latest.  This is a commercial solution, and our entire business operation is at a standstill due to this.We have used only 20% of our automation runs budget allocation, and these performance issues are unacceptable.

I am trying to send emails using the Gmail automation. The field I am using to route to the "To" field in the automation is an email field. The problem is, some of the emails were inputted with a space before or after them, which I suspect is preventing deliverability.I tried using a formula field to trim the email field, but I route the formula field to the "To" field in the Gmail automation, it shows up blank as though there is no text in the formula field.What is the best way to eliminate spaces in a field you intend to use in the Gmail automation's "To" field?

For the last couple of weeks, we've been running into an issue when attempting to scroll down stacks in Kanban views.  The view will not scroll when using the mouse scroll wheel or when clicking the scrollbar.  It happens at random times, too, with no noticeable pattern.This is happening with multiple users and multiple Kanban views so it doesn't appear to be an isolated issue.On a related note — at the same time that this issue started, we also noticed another issue where it takes much longer to scroll down stacks that are of considerable length (i.e. hundreds of records).  This was never an issue up until a couple of weeks ago.Is this a known bug that is being fixed?

I have made a stock taking system in airtable. And I have a whole list of items with current stock values. I would like to the end of every financial quarter take a snap shop of the current stock value. Is this possible?I've tried to play around with scheduled time trigger and the repeating group action, but I don't seem to be able to find a way to tally this up. Is there a good way to do this?

Hello, I just started with Airtable, and to be able to use it, I need solve this problem. I am having a database of volunteers on a national level. I would like to make them write their post number when they apply, and in the base allocate a decided municipality and local chapter. This information we gather from a Typeform. I have matched the options in my Typeform and Base/Field as a single choice. It works well until den, but how to make it work in Airtable is the next step. This is not in the US. There are around 5000 post numbers that are going to be distribute in 15 "municipalities". Some chapters allocate more than one municipality.Is the single choice the best one for this purpose? Would an IF formula work?What is the most effective way to do this with that amount of data?
