Hi everyone,I am no Airtable expert or whatsoever so I am really struggling here....I used to have a team that produced social media post content for my FB and IG pages. I have access to the Bases they created because I used to review the content before they scheduled it. I am no longer working with them but would love to reuse all the content they had crated for me (since i paid for it) so I tried adjusting the posting dates on the different entries but nothing is being posted to my pages.....can anyone help? I suspect they may have done something on their end to sort of disconnect Airtable from my social media accounts and that is why it is not posting but I really don't know. Airtable customer service won't help so here I am hoping somebody knows what I am talking about!Thanks a lot in advance!Jean T.

I am working on two tables of independent data: Tables A and B. The common denominator for each table is that they have a date value that I and other team members need to track.I've been able to create an automation where every time a new value on Table A or B is created, a new record on Table C is also created -basically copied- with values from A or B that are relevant for all those accessing Table C.Where I'm getting stuck is when I update anything on Tables A and B, I'd also like to automatically update the data on Table C, specifically dates but every now and then other values. This would be a simple fix with link to record if I wasn't pulling data from two separate sources, and I can't seem to find how to set up the right automation I need. Hi!I'm looking into making a KPI Dashboard for company-wide use. Traditional solutions would be something like Tableau or Power BI, but since we are a small company and we already have Airtable, I've been trying to scope our Airtable as a possible solution. While scoping it out, I haven't been encouraged.It seems like Airtable has a lot of capabilities, especially when using Vega-Lite, but one key thing that we need is the ability to configure charts easily. For example anyone should be able to quickly change the date range on a chart without it affecting other's view.I also haven't been able to incorporate Vega-Lite into an Interface. I've only been able to include it in the Extensions, which is not a convenient user experience if we have 20+ KPIs. I think I need Vega-Lite to get the charts that I need, for example a Sankey chart is not available with the "native" Airtable charts.Am I missing out on some capabilities or should I move on from Airtable and

It seems like I have a simple question but so far I have been unable to solve this. All I would like to do is pass the current wordpress user display name to Airtable via a form. I can see how to prefill a field with a fixed field but I can’t figure out the syntax to pass the current wp user data to Airtable. Is this possible? Thanks

I have a 'Last Modified By' field in my table that has a user object. I have another field that says 'Last Modified By (Name)'. It needs to be populated with only the name of the user.  Is there a formula to retrieve only the 'name' from the Last Modified by object? 

It appears that "tel:" hyperlinks does not work to create a button that opens a URL to call a phone. The button is not clickable.However, the "mailto:" URL shortcut works, but not "tel:"Are there any workarounds to this that will put a clickable link in any view type? (grid or interface?)

Having a strange issue where my automation script reports successful and appears correct, but doesn't actually do anything. Hi all,I find myself working on things a lot as I understand Airtable.I am trying to do a budget spending, and I have multiple school locations showing the month-to-date spending.I then wanted a table which shows all the schools.The issue is I can only link one table.I want to be able to link to multiple. So I can have all the budgets in one view.Thanks,Judd

Hey, dear community: does anyone know, how to comment the same thing on multiple records with one action. I used to copy-paste the comment on those records, but it’s too much work. Hoping someone can help figure out the best way to set this up.We have students taking various assessments that range in length from apron 20 - 100 questions. The assessments feed into a table with the submission ID as the primary record field, and then all of there responses as individual fields associated with that record (columns.). Some of the info collected is demographic, some is self-reflection (no single correct answer), and some is multiple choice or short answer, for which there are correct answers.I'm hoping to set up a separate table for scoring.  It would references a student's response, compare it to the correct answer (which could also be a record in the student answer table, or preferably, a separate "question key" table), and record 0 or 1. We would then have separate fields that would tabulate the raw scores for each section and covert them accordingly.  In an ideal world, we'd then also figure out how to power

I am building a crop planning tool in airtable for our farm. To simplify, we crop plan with some of the following considerations:- What crops are going in a bed (we are diversified farm, and plant multiple species together) - each crop is its own records, so a bed plan will typically have 2-3 crop plan records associate with it. In special cases, there will be around 10 (cover cropping).- What bed they are going in- Expected planting date and expected removal date- What was growing previously, for crop rotation and other considerationsThis would be much easier to do visually. I would like to be able to drag plans forward/back and between beds, to help them fit together.A few difficulties:- As we have multiple plans to a bed, each crop in a plan is it's own line in timeline. Hi, this notification is showing on my form embedded on my website - "Starting January 31, 2024, Facebook and Web Search will no longer be available as options to upload attachments." Hello everyone,I have an interesting problem that I would love your input on.What you’re looking at here is a database for a comedy club. The idea behind this specific database is to look into the different events done and to be done. A part of the fields is the date, location, show type, role of artist, and artist.Each event (with specific date) has multiple artists with different roles, I am currently adding multiple records per event in order to separate the artists roles and get a count of each artist’s role in each show type through a related database as seen belowIs there a way to add 1 record per event and add as many artists to this specific event while picking a role for each

I have spent a HUGE amount of time on semi-functional base design. However, I keep making iterative mistakes. The relational databases is, of course, the big appeal in airtable.But I keep making mistakes with flow through consequences, and kind of need to rebuild our bases from the start.There are many convoluted connections in this base design, and I am looking for advice on a framework for knowing how to rebuild without making the same mistakes? A lot of these issues come from "learning by doing," which has created a vast amount of data that isn't very easy for us to use (or input)!I had a look at the beginner articles on airtable again, but they don't really seem to cover relational database design at a first principles level.

Well, I’m new to Airtable and have been stuck in this dillema: I created a table called Recipes (where I log ingredients and other info), and another one called Ingredients (Where I keep average prices, and quantity on stock), so I can keep up with my groceries. I want to calculate how much will I spend for each recipe, so I can calculate the average dish price. Is there a way that I can put a value for each ingredient in the recipe (like, 1kg of meat, and 0,3kg of onions ), so I keep my inventory updated?
