I am building out an intake form for system issues. When a form comes in I want the ticket to be assigned based on who moves the ticket into in progress. I see that I can put conditions to assign to a certain person but not build it out based on how put it in progress. Any help would be great.

I have a form built. Today I was asked to add an option to a multi-select field and published it. I added the option and it is showing in all views and in the preview, but it is not showing on the public-facing version of the form. I am not sure what I am missing that is causing the option to show everywhere except the public-facing side.

I have a "main" table, call it A.  It holds client names.  I have a second table, call it "B."  It will hold deadlines.  For every A record, i.e. client, Table B should have one corresponding record where a lookup field (call it "Name") populates with the "Name" field in Table A.  Then Table B holds deadlines specific to each "carried over" or "mirrored" record from Table A. It should be that when a record is created in A, a corresponding record (assuming auto-number-generated?) would be created in B, with the name lookup from A.  Then deadlines get logged in Table B, and an interface created to allow viewing of deadlines and other things from various other tables for the various clients in Table A. But Table A is the master table.The aim is to have sensible table size (one giant table with every imaginable deadline would be unwieldy) but not have to manually create Table B Deadline records for every Name/Client in Table A.Many thanks for any help!

Background:I work for a training provider, offering courses online and in-person. We work with ~50 (and counting...) independent instructors to deliver our live Zoom and field sessions.When scheduling our course deliveries, our Program Managers reach out to instructors with the correct skillset and book according to availability (they're mostly self-employed so have commitments that we don't have visibility of). Once booked, PM allocates the instructor to that specific delivery. In Airtable, that's currently a link between our Instructor table and [Year] Deliveries table.Many of our deliveries are multi-week courses that involve instructors teaching different weeks/modules. One 10 week delivery often has 20 instructors allocated to it.We can have multiple deliveries running at any one time, with different instructor skillsets required.The Problem:When an instructor is allocated to a delivery, they will be linked to the entire delivery and not just the dates they are teaching.The PMs th

The cell gives an error (NaN) when the linked table does not contain any linked records. I want to create a formula that will fill-in the cell as '1' if the 'average (values)' is not possible. Thank you.

I’ve got two tables that I’m embedding in a Sharepoint page, using an iframe window. They work great, except that there’s some kind of splash screen showing the Airtable logo that doesn’t go away until the user mouses over it. I just got metadata api and I’m trying to connect it with my airtable and get data but it is not connecting and keeps throwing me errors. I tried performing a GET request on postman as well but it still did not work.

Hi I have the free Airtable version and I wondered if I could set up events with reminders in the calendar feature. I have some TV shows that I would like to be notified, a week earlier and every day after that until the date of the TV show. I was thinking of creating a base with a field for name of TV show, air date and I am not sure if I need a Field for the calendar (using the calendar is new for me and I don’t even know if I have the calendar option with the free version).  Hi, I need help with an automation that I can't get to work. I have set up 2 separate automations, both triggers "when record matches condition" (different conditions) one adds one linked record, to field "work" and the other automation adds another linked record to the same field. However, they seem to overwrite the existing linked record. How do I avoid this? I tried setting it up so that I pull in the actual linked record field and then separated by a comma the record id, but that made the automation pull in 2 different linked records, when I only wanted the one 🤔 🤔Any tips? Hi  I'm familiar with the Maps extension in AT and using it without issue but I'm interested in making the map public and embedding onto a website. I've seen some posts about this coming at some point but they date back a few years and so I suspect that's not happening anytime soon. So my question is, what is the easiest way to do this? I understand there is a Google API (Many Map API's) and also some mention of Mapbox but they both seem over complicated for my usecase. This is a very simple request of maybe 10-15 points on the map that could change every few weeks. Has anyone done this, any pointers on the easiest method ? Much appreciated  Jason 

I have a column with linked records and I do not want the column to have more than 6 records. I do allow multiple linking but is it possible to put a restriction on how many records can be entered? [I want more than 1 but less than equal to 6]. ThanksChandrika

I've set automation to create record which get value from a field when a value is entered to that field (use trigger type "when record matches condition"). But the automation is real-time triggered when the typing has not finished yet, so the getted value is incomplete. For example, enter "300" but only get "3". How do I fix it please? Hey guys,I am looking for a way to help restrict access to certain bases I have in my workspace. I thought using groups was the answer, but that doesn't seem to be it as the groups still have overall workspace access and I can't seem to remove someone who's in the workspace from a base.We have our workspaces separated by the different companies in our parent company and then within each workspace is a base for the different departments. I have groups for the different departments as well that I was hoping to use to have for example the GFX department have access to only the GFX base.Does anyone know how I should be using workspaces, groups, and bases to restrict access? I feel I am using these wrong.Thanks!

Colleagues top up holidays and travel expenses in Airtable. We would like to account for the empty dates 13 three random days in a given month. Is there any way to automate this?

I am attempting to use Airtable as a month end close tracking form. Is it possible, that once a task is completed, it will create a new task for the same day in the next month? As an example, this task would be completed on December 15th, then once completed it recreates the task with a deadline of January 15th.

Hello,I manage an Airtable base for a motorsport event management company. Right now, we have to use JOTFORM for the customer registrations, because the company uses Authorize.net, and the client wants the registration form to be submitted with payment in the same step. Upon looking into Zapier, they do not support Authorize.net. (So if you know a workaround for this, we would LOVE to just use Airtable instead of two different platforms for customer registration.)But! That's not the main issue at hand. The main issue is that my client has a list of Instructors for these events that we are currently registering via a form on Airtable. However, the instructors have to fill out the entire form for each event, and this is a bit tedious and redundant, and causes us to have to go in and delete duplicates if the instructor has forgotten if they've registered for the event or not, and fills out another one. I have a dashboard using a Timeline view. Add records is enabled. I can click on the plus button to add a record, but the dates are always odd and not reflective of where I am in the timeline. But if I try to do the click and drag to add the record directly in the timeline window it doesn't do anything. is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

When initiating an OAuth authentication, it is possible to provide additional parameters, meant for custom use of the client application.These parameters are correctly passed to your https://airtable.com/oauth2/v1/authorize page, as URL query parameters along the standard parameters (nonce, response_type, code_challenge_method, scope, code_challenge and client_id).However when the redirect_url is called after a successful authentication, the additional parameters are not included. That would be a standard behavior your authentication should support.

Hi there,We are using AT as a project management tool and I am trying to create a field that indicates Project Status. The field would live on the Projects board and default to "Submitted", when we receive a request. We have a separate board for Tasks, and we use an extension to generate the tasks for each individual project. So once the tasks have been generated and assigned the Status would change to "Assigned". Once the team member views their assigned task the Status would change to "In Progress". We are using a formula to calculate the % complete so once all tasks have been completed the Status would change to "Complete". Because there are 2 boards and already a formula field we are pulling from, this seems like a complicated (but not impossible?) equation. I just dont know Airtable well enough to be able to figure it out! Does anyone know how to create what we are looking for?

I am having trouble with my vacation day calculation when an employee is only taking one day off. I have a formula to count the days requested and they always show up as negative which is what I want to subtract from their approved days, but when they request 1 day is comes up as a +1 and throws the calculation off. When I select a lookup field in Airtable, it retrieves all the values within it, but I want to make a selection from within this lookup field, is this possible?
