Unsure of the best approach so I would love some suggestions on this;Background & current process;We book training sessions for clients. We currently create one Airtable record for each session to set different dates for them. Each session (record) immediately receives a confirmation email (triggered through Zapier) once we change the status to 'Confirmed'. Sessions are linked to a Company.One issue with this is that clients often book multiple sessions at once, so upon confirming them in Airtable they will receive multiple confirmation emails that are almost identical (only the date/time changes). Hi,Someone shared an Air Table Interface with me and made me the editor.  When I accept the invite and logon with google on a PC, I'm able to see the interface and access it.  However, when i'm on my android phone and try to access it via the Android app, nothing is displaying.  The Recent tab has a message "No Recently open apps", and when I selected the "Starred" tab, it also said "Nothing Starred yet".  Try to browse, nothing is displayed.  The notification on the app does show a message that someone is sharing the interface with us, but nothing happened after we  click on the notification as well.Any ideas?ThanksDat

I am a bit confused. This might not be complicated. I have two ppl submitting a form and I want to be able merge some of the data. How would I do that? Can I use an automation to update one of the records? But then, how do I match the two entries so it knows what to merge?

I am looking to find a formula that takes you right to the Interface from the source table, with the record expanded on the right side inside the Interface and also specific to what ever is pre-selected on the "Drop Down" option. we currently use Google in order to sign on to our airtable. the company is migrating to Office 365 mail boxes. once we have finished migration to office 365, we cannot keep using the google sign in option…but, we can login regularly. question is, do we keep all the data of airtable in the new account? or is it all gone ? :frowning:

Let me break down my set up.Table: Project Tracker - contains all over all project information. Linked to Hours TrackerTable: Hours Tracker - where coordinators input the daily hourly information by the project they are working on. Hello, I have an automation that is being run when a webhook is received. I have noticed that the automation is being run multiple times for some records; it does not run multiple times for every webhook. I cannot manually recreate this issue. When I manually send a record, it works as intended. I have reviewed the logs of the booking service sending the webhook, and only a single webhook is being sent each time. But, when I review the automation history, every once in a while it is running 5 times. Hi,I've tried using automations to "find records" but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I have a platform where we assign people from our "Staff Directory" to different stations of an event. I want to have a linked field that adds anyone assigned to a station to a general "Staff Assigned" field that I can pull e-mails from (already have that part setup). How can I have "Staff Assigned" update as each field is updated? Is there another or better way to do this?  

I have a formula that pulls text from another field. That field is a link to another table. Airtable is creating quotation marks around the text if the text contains any punctuation marks. Is there a way of stopping this??

When inserting a Date field in an Email Action, the Date and Time format I’ve set within the table does not get used. Instead, I get the default formatting, something like: 2020-06-07T01:00:00.000Z. I’d like the date and time to be outputted in a more readable format in emails, something like 6/7/2020 at 1:00am.

Hi,I have a table which is sort of a Bill Of Materials containing the all the required parts to assemble a single product, including the required quantity of each part. It's basically looks like:|Product|Part|QuantityRequired|There is another Parts table containing the cost of each part.I'm trying to calculate the total cost for each part in a single field. So far I was able to do it through two fields, one is lookup for the cost of the part and another field with formula {qty}*{cost from lookup field}My question is can this be done directly in a single formula field, without needing the extra aux lookup field to fetch the price of a single part? Feels a bit redundant and was wondering if there's a way to fetch that lookup directly through the formula. (The final calculation of of the product's cost is done in the Products table through a sum rollup on said result)Thanks.

Problem...A business software license broker has 200+ records of inventory available for lease. Currently she sends her customers a link to a google sheet. Then they email her back with what they have picked, and the deal moves down the pipeline. There are issues with follow up and communication which result in a lot of missed opportunities. Each deal requires several variables be determined such as Price negotiation, length of term, location, server hosting requirements, etc. additionally there are document generation issues which further slow the process, purchase orders, nondisclosure agreements, and sales contracts. Hi all, I’m currently trying to set-up a pie chart via Airtable’s ‘Blocks’ function. Is there any way to choose my own colour for each of the segments? The default colour scheme that my pie chart is using is completely contradictory from the labels of each of my segments - and I can’t find a way to change it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. I have a summary table that is comprised of a single row with a linked field (projects) containing multiple values, then a series of rollups with $ calculations based on project status back in the project table.I would like to automate the addition of new projects to the summary table linked field when projects are created in the primary table, and also automate the deletion of those linked field values when projects are completed.I'm unsure how to best accomplish this in an automation. I am in Real Estate and have created at table for all my transactions.  Some date fields are calculated based on a formula.  For example, a Loan Application is due x# of days after contract date - it can vary based on the contract.  I am creating a template that lists tasks based off that calculated date.  I create the template and choose a relative date but the calculated date is not listed, only dates that are manually entered (vs. calculated) are showing.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
