I’m keeping track of some social media captions in my Airtable base but every time I copy and paste into Airtable I get a prompt to update saved password. It’s quite annoying to have to minimize the window each time I paste something. Is there a way to disable that pop up?

I am trying to have a formula which give me the possibility to have on the same line two fields separated by a coma. I ran into an issue setting up an automation for some colleagues of mine. We all work in the same workspace, but depending on the team there are different tables within the workspace to manage their work. To keep things simple, lets say Team A works in Table A, and Team B works in Table B.Some of the work Team A does in Table A is for Team B. Team B asked for a way to see just that work in their production calendar on Table B. I created an automation pulling just the pertinent info from Table A to Table B so they can keep track of it. (I am oversimplifying this for the sake of my issue.)The automation has so far worked perfectly, with one issue. Team A uses a Date field for their Due dates without a time field, Team B uses a Date field for their due dates with a time field. For whatever reason, when the automation runs, it will change Team A's due date (ex. 1/2/24) to the day before at 7 or 8pm (ex. 1/1/24 7:00pm). Both date fields use the same date format of "U

Currently, I am linking the tables to each other manually when updating project start and end dates. For example, if I add a new project scheduled to start today and end 3/1/2024, I'd add a new record with a start date of 11/30/22, the end date of 3/1/24, and then link it to the "2023 Q4" and "2024 Q1" records from the second Table. Projects don't often (if ever) end when planned, so I come back and update the end dates often which means I also have to go back to check the linked Quarter records to make sure they're still accurate. This seems like something that should be easily automatable.I don't necessarily even NEED the Quarter Table. There is no other information about each quarter that I collect.

Hello. I have a base that has the following tables in it: Projects, Tasks, Communications Form, Web Form, Creative Request Form and Photo/Video Request Form. Under the Tasks table, we have a view that shows what everyone is working on. Each Table that has a Form also has a grid to collect responses and assign a user to the task. Is there a way to pull the tasks from the form tables to the "What are people working on" view in the task table? If not, is there a good workaround that might help people not have to check multiple tables?Thanks!

Hi, is there a way I can send a webhook to an automation in another base via a button which runs a script?So like:press button on record on base A > runs script > script sends webhook to base B > webhook triggers automation to create recordI can achieve what i want via a checkbox and syncing but i dont want them to have to uncheck and check the box to do it againAny ideas?

I need an automation to remove a linked record from a linked record field, without removing all linked records from that field.For instance, if a student is in enrolled in the courses 'knitting for war, animal husbandry and marriage, ice cream + pies', but drops 'knitting for war', I'd like the automation to leave the field as 'animal husbandry and marriage, ice cream + pies'. Hi allI'm trying to make a URL to link directly to show just images in an attachment field.I've created a shared view, and am happy making a formula which replaces the record ID to the correct record but I can't get the attachment ID programatically.  If I omit it from the URL (ie airtable.com/appXXX/shrXXX/tblXXX/viwXX/recXXX/fldXX/ then it directs the user to the full record page - I just want them to see the attachments so need the "att" IDAny ideas?Hope that makes sense!Andrew

Hey community, Aundre here. I hope you're all doing well!I found this script on YouTube that works once you're on any table view where applicable. I need to automate it to work without being on a specific view. When I run it from automations, it does not work, I get the error below.The automation I am trying to create is to run whenever a record enters a view. It should run the script which compresses images in the IMAGE column via TinyPNG, and then output them in IMAGE COMPRESSION. However, I find that I have to be on the view itself, click 'run script' for it to work. The automation however is not running from a view standpoint, hence why I believe it's giving an error.After the image has been compressed, I'd like the IMAGE column to clear (delete) the original image, leaving only the compressed one. I am trying to share specific views of my Airtable base, I specifically want users to see the Tables I am sharing collapsed into their groups, as it makes lots more sense for them to be able to drill down. However, despite me collapsing all within the view, my recipients are seeing the tables expanded. This also happened when I tried to share the whole base. How can I ensure recipients of a shared view or base will see the view collapsed by my groups.

I have email automations that are sent out when a record matches conditions. When a date is one day ago an email is sent. Overnight this has not worked, emails have sent even though the field date that triggers the email was not one day ago. What could be the cause of this?Could this be caused by the time zone airtable uses? It says it is in GMT, but the date generated in a field is the wrong date?

Hello!This is my first post, so I hope I'm posting in the right place.I am trying to use Airtable as a production board for my company. When an order comes through Shopify, I have Zapier tell it to upload the information with Line Items, but my team doesn't always know how many items may be in one order to complete it, so I started showing "1 of x" for my guys to know when they view the interface.Is there a way for Airtable to automatically mark a job with the same "Order Number" (as it is grouped right now) to autopopulate the numbers of the line items in a column, even if it just auto-numbers with 1, or 1, 2, 3 etc. then I can reformat the way it looks?Or is there a better way to go about what I'm trying to accomplish? I feel like I'm overcomplicating it.Thank you so much!

We are using two bases to work different steps of a workflow but are having difficulty syncing all the data back to the original record source in “base #1”. “Base #1” has the planning, design request & scheduling executed and “base #2” has the designing, design proofing & final design attachment executed. We have synced a table from base #1 to base #2 but then created new fields to be worked in base #2, how do we update the original record in base #1 to the applicable new fields created in base #2? As a note, we were able to sync all the applicable fields back to base #1 in a new table but that did not fulfill our workflow need as we require the new field data to be included in the original table in base

Hi there--I'm trying to setup a three-tiered list in the interface builder. Some of the tiers also leverage linked records. I have enabled click into linked record and even designed the card that should fly out when the record is double clicked, but it is not behaving as expected. Instead, it just reopens (click 1) and closes (click 2) the record when I double click on it. I'm experienced setting up interfaces with openable linked fields in general, but have not worked in the multi-tiered list format before. Does it behave differently here?Thank you 🙂

HiI have a field called {Total Duration} where the user enters the length of a video in h:mm:ss format. This formula is going to be used to calculate the costs of video editing. We charge in 30 seconds units. 1-30 seconds is charged as one unit, but 31-60 is charged as two units.I have been using the following when {Total Duration} was set as a simple number fieldCEILING({Total Duration} /30) * 30This almost works. If I enter 32 it rounds up to 60, which is what I want, but if I enter 31 it rounds down to 30.  Any ideas how I can solve this? 

I have around 40,000 addresses that need to be assigned to a precinct. I was curious to find out if there was a way to give airtable a range of addresses, so it knows what precinct to put them in, and assign the addresses a precinct automatically. Thanks!

I’m having issues adding a miro board. Upon clicking “Add a Miro Board” in the Blocks tab, Google Chrome opens but to a blank page. I am logged into my Miro account in another tab. I’ve also tried logging out of my Miro account prior to clicking “Add a Miro Board,” and Google Chrome opens a page that only displays “Not Authorized.” Can someone advise how best to solve for this?
