Hi Folks, I've been trying to come up with an elegant solution to this and am hoping the community here can help me. I have several fields of checkboxes marking different assets available in our library. I would love to create a signal field that would list which fields are still unchecked. Is this possible? I've tried a few variations but nothing is working. Thanks!

I am wondering if it is possible to create an automation where a pool of 10 freelance job candidates are prioritized according to distance from an added Japan Postal Code, and then emailed one after another with a 24 hour deadline to respond if available or not for the job. So if Candidate #1 marks himself as unavailable, then the system would then email Candidate #2. If the entire automation is not feasible, how far could the automation be taken? Would it be possible to do with a free Airtable account? Thank you.

Hi,I have a table that contains Tasks. These are assigned to User using the User/Collaborator field.I want to be able to create an automation that runs daily, finds all the tasks in a view (Follow-up today) and then send an email to each User that is found in this view with a list of all there tasks. I'm trying to think of the best way of doing this without different views for each user. I was thinking I need to find a unique list of users that are in that view and then have a repeating step  to find all tasks in that view associated to that user and then send them an email. I'm not sure how to find unique users that have tasks in that view as there will be multiple tasks for the same users.Any advise appreciated? Jason      

This is not so much a question as it is a request. I think the fact that having editable sync’s views is such a win in terms of cross base collaboration. I’m curious that why this is not achievable with lookups.  I often use parts of a sync’d based records to fulfill another tables needs but even though the shared view is editable as soon as you use a linked field to those records the ability to edit almost becomes mute. it would be great to be able to have these lookups be editable, it will bring so much more power and flexibility to how we can cross collaborate on our bases. 

Hi - I am trying to build an IF(OR statement that returns a value if any of the fields are blank. Hello,I have been looking at the boards for hours now and can't seem to find the formula I am looking for. I have it in Excel however, the formula does not work in airtable. =DATEDIF(0,C2,"Y") &" Years "&DATEDIF(0,C2,"YM")&" Months "&DATEDIF(0,C2,"MD")&" Days "Ideally, I would like to take out the Total Days part and just get the Breakdown from the Start Date. At this point though, either way would work. Can someone please help me out with the formula. 

I hope you're all well. I have a question to ask you, I would like to create a progress bar that summarises all my subtask using checkboxes. Basically, each time I check all the checkboxes in my subtask, the progress bar shows me 100%.Is this possible? Can anyone help me? I'm looking for something like this : 

Similar to using the ctrl F feature in a spreadsheet, is there an option to keep all records in the grid when using the search feature in an interface? Right now it's only filtering the view for records that contain the specific keywords. I know that this is possible in a data table but I don't see this feature in the interface. 

Hello All, I'm somewhat stuck when it comes to transitioning to Airtable, so any help would be appreciated. I have a Table, called {Pricing} and another called {Quote}. My intention is to extract multiple entities from {Pricing}, perform conditional formulas and return a final price in {Quote}. The values in {Pricing} will never change, however, the requirements for what will be extracted from it will have to change. I have created the above in Excel, where I was relying on the FILTER formula, and VLOOKUP, I'm just looking to perform a similar task in Airtable. For more context, my products are Gates. And in {Pricing} I have the gate listed in a Matrix, height increments of 250mm and Width Increments of 250mm, with a price in each field. I'm building a dataset where i'm taking the total amount of something and breaking it down into a per day calculation.  However on the first couple of days these projected calculations aren't always hit.  Is there a way to build a formula that takes into account a ramp up period of some kind for the first couple of days?Here it is in practice:A brand wants to have a certain amount of budget set against a specific website that they're advertising on.  The budget of $100,000 over 10 days, or $10,000 / day. However in reality, hitting $10,000 in the first day or so is nearly impossible because of certain elements that need to be taken into account.  This is the ramp up period.  In reality it starts off with $1000 for day one, $3000 for day 2, $7000 on day 3, and then hitting the per day spend goal of $10,000.  Sometimes to compensate for this the website may over-spend on Day 4 and 5 to bring the average back to $10,000 a day. Is

I would guess this question has been asked and answered before, but I can't find an answer.I have a table of contacts and a table of campaigns. I would like to be able to filter the contacts by whatever criteria, and then add a bulk cross reference to that filtered group in a row of the campaigns table, populating the 'Link to another record' field.For example, I have a group of individuals I would like to contact for an event mailing. I have a row in the campaigns table that has details of the event mailing (description, date, etc), and I want to keep a record of everyone who was contacted.If that makes sense as a requirement, is it a job for an automations?

Hi, we are getting a "over limits" alert on the top right corner of our database screen. What does this mean and what can we do next? We are still using it to this moment and adding new data, will there be a problem in storing the data safely? Will it affect the current data (for example, get erased or moved somewhere else)? Hey there! 🙂I have a "Customers" table and a "Projects" table and what I'm trying to achieve is to link them. I wan't to know which customer were in each one of my projects, so a costumer may be in more than one project aswell a project will have more than one costumer. To do so, I created a linked record column and what I'm trying to do is to copy the costumer's name (it'll be roughly 100-200 rows) and past them in just one cell in table Projects (to link those 200 customers to that specific Project in the row). Is it possible? There's any better way to do it?

HelloI am in the process of creating a web-based marketplace, and I've chosen to use Airtable to store and manage data. I've also developed an interface that includes a dashboard for vendors and a registration form for new vendors. Additionally, there's a product submission form for vendors to add their products to the marketplace.My question is whether it's possible to share this product submission form with multiple vendors and the interface view , and whether I can provide each vendor with their own table view. In other words, can I customize the experience for each vendor, allowing them to see and manage their specific data within the platform?"

HelloI'd like to know if it's possible to trigger a post_message event when the form is submitted (this is for an embedded form). I've seen that the system is already used to manage iframe scrolling with the "airtableDisableScrollbar" post_message.Having information on whether the form has been sent (and whether it was successful or not) would be very useful for managing other events on the "parent" page on which the form appears.If this is not possible with this solution. Dear community,In the company I work for, we have a base which contains a lot of sensitive data about clients. We are currently on the Team plan. I noticed that there is no inactivity log out in Airtable. The only safety measure I could potentially take is 2FA. Although, preferrably I would have 2FA, a inactivity log out and something that makes it only possible for colleagues to log-in when they are on their work MS365 account.I see this last thing is possible with SSO, but that's only applicable for business. Since we are a foundation, that is hard to afford for about 20 employees. I hope someone in the community can help us with this security issueThanks a lot,Sid

Thanks in advance for any help, I am new to Airtable and to using formulas at all. Having trouble figuring this one out, but I’m sure it’s a simple solution. Context: I grow mushrooms, 3 different strains (K, B, L). Every day I prepare a new batch (8 bags, same strain). Every week I prepare 5 batches, 1 batch per day, mon–fri. I need to create a unique record for each batch. Currently, I am using a concatenate formula to combine the strain code (K, B, or L) with the week number it was created. i.e. K.40 My Problem: 2 days of the week, I will repeat the same batch (strain type) I did earlier in the week, which leaves me with two instances of the same thing (K.40). I need a formula or combination of formulas that can identify when the same batch code has appeared twice in one week, and then assign only the second instance of that occurrence with a (.2) i.e. K.40.2. I'm trying to do this exact functionality from excel, within airtable: Dependent Drop Down Lists Essentially, the single field drop down list will update depending upon the input to another field, as seen below Fruit & Vegetable have two different list options. Is there an easy way to do this, maybe through linking back to a key in another table? Any suggestions help!

Hi all,I am building a web app with Pory (pory.io) as the frontend and Airtable as the backend.I would like users to log in and enter information into Airtable via Airtable forms.I have been able to set up users on Pory and integrate this with Airtable. However, when I fill out a form as a logged-in user the records that are created have "Anonymous" in the field "created by", and do not appear to be associated with the logged-in user.Is it possible to prefill a field in the the Airtable form with the ID of the logged-in Pory user, or to otherwise to associated the record that is created when the form is submitted with the logged-in user?Best regards,

On the website https://www.airtable.com/partners, it says that one of the benefits of joining the Airtable Partners Program is that "you’ll reach new audiences within our broad customer base and tap into new markets via our channels". Currently, Airtable customers can search through a directory of Airtable Service Providers https://ecosystem.airtable.com/consultants. Are there other ways for them to reach existing Airtable customers?

I am supposed to have data from a Typeform populate two different Airtable sheets through Zapier. The first one is an Airtable base that I created for my own use. The second one is a class-shared base. I believe I have set up my Zap correctly because when I fill out my Typeform, the data is correctly entered into my personal Airtable. I set up the shared Airtable the same way, however, I cannot get any data to show up. Any ideas why this is not working?

I have an annual Airtable payment due on December 7, 2023. I have to get prior approval for all software purchases, and I need to submit an official invoice for the approval. I can only see my past invoices (Nov. 2023 and before). Is there a way to see an invoice for an upcoming payment?This is crucial because the payment is set to go through automatically. I will get in big trouble if I allow a payment to go through without getting the pre-approval. But I can't get the pre-approval without an invoice!
