Hello --As of this morning, when my team logs onto any interface with search enabled (on a grid), it is almost instantly searching the table for that user's email. I do not have "Viewer's records only" selected, and when I am in the editor view the search bar is blank. It's almost like it's trying to treat the stored information from the user's browser as a login (note: it is happening across multiple browsers).It has happening across multiple interfaces and interfaces that pull from multiple tables. I don't know if this is a known issue, or if there's some global setting I didn't know about that I've accidentally toggled.Thank you 🙂

I'm trying to automatically populate emails depending on team member names.So if "John Smith" then in this column "john.smith@email.com" ""And if "Kate Jones" then "kate.jones@email.com" ""etcetcetcfor about 30 team members. I can get the first formula to work but how do i do it for multiple? Tried this but didnt workIF({Name} ="x", "email x"IF({Name} ="y", "email y", ) )

I have 5 non-value fields that indicate if a person has paid an application fee or not. The fields are: 180 GBP, 210 GBP, 240 GBP, 270 GBP, and 300 GBP. If a person has paid, it will say "Completed" under the column that they have paid. It will say "Not Started" if they have not paid. For example: If person A has paid the fee of 240 GBP, it will say "Completed" under that column, and it will say "Not completed" under all of the other monetary columns. (it was not my idea to organise it this way, it is just the way it has to be!)I would like to add a formula field called "Paid" that can identify if a person has paid (Yes or No) based on the statuses of the 5 monetary value columns. I want it to recognize that if 1 of the columns in a row is "completed" that the "Paid" value will be "Yes."Does anyone know if this is possible? Please see photo attached for an example of how the fields are laid out, and a sample "paid" field. 

So I have a table called "Dealerships" and a table called "Services". Each record in "Services" has a date, an amount, and a link to "Dealerships". I'm creating an interface that will aggregate these, so I can know the amount that came from each "Dealership". I know I can do this with a Rollup, but the problem arises when I try to use a Filter element in the Interface.I have a "Dashboard" page and a "List" element sourced from "Dealerships". This list contains both the Dealership name and the rolled-up amount.I need the user to be able to select a date range via a Filter and have the Rollup be updated to only add up the services that match those dates. I haven't been able to find a way to do this. The closest I came to a solution was to use 2 levels in the List, which actually DOES filter the services in the 2nd level but does NOT change the value in the Roll-up accordingly.Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Greetings, I have a zip code field that's either 5 digits or 9 digits. I need a formula to display the zip code as either 12345 or 12345-6789 depending on the content of the field. I know How to write the beginning of the formula, I do not know how to write the if 9 part.  I have IF({Zip Code} <6,{Zip Code}, Need to describe the 9 digit code with a dash.)Anyone have a thought on this? I am using a number field for the zip code. Is this the correct field to use?Thanks, Scott

I’m trying to figure out the best way to send single send sorts of emails to people in my database.I’ve tried using the built in segmentation tools of typical mailing list software, but my needs are much more variable and ultimately at the end of the day it’s soooo much easier to just put together my list in Airtable via filters.  And then I could fill in the little extra info I need from there into a templated email of some sort.  I really only need to send a few sentences of info. Is this something I could feasibly do? I assume using sendgrid or similar?

I created a staff scheduler with a series of automations that copies a shift (Workday Date and Start/End Times, Location linked field, employee linked field, notes) to a future date based on 4 checkbox fields (creating a shift 1, 2, 3 and 4 days in the future).While the tool works great, I started receiving an error with only ONE location linked field every time I try to copy a shift. The error reads as follows: 'Creating the record failed due to insufficient permissions.' I have tried several fixes, including creating a duplicate of the location in question in the parent table and cutting and pasting pertinent information and linking fields about that location into the new record. I am completely stumped and as it is impossible to reach Airtable directly anymore, I figured I'd turn to the forums.Thanks in Advance!

It would be awesome if Airtable added 'This Year' and 'This Month' to the filters. This way, I could create a view of records, like expenses or invoices, that apply to this month or year. I'm actually surprised this is not already a feature. It seems like it would be a simple addition.

As per the attachment, I have created an automation with multiple steps starting with a form being submitted and ending with an email being sent to the customer who submitted the form.The email body requires data from the previous steps of the automation to be updated.The problem is that it seems the automation doesn't run in sequence (each step following once the previous one has been complete), rather all steps run simultaneously. This causes the email body to be missing data, because the final email is being sent before the records have been updated according to the previous steps.Am I doing something wrong?

Hello!I have the following bases tables:- Team- Emails Teams has records of people grouped by single select types of teams (Management, Development, Operations).Emails has email records that is populated by a form. The form asks for, among other things, the group it is to be sent to. This is a separate field not linked to the team field in Teams. Once the email has been approved, i have a trigger when the status of the email submitted is "good to go".I would like to know how to go about automating sending an email when that is done, to the defined group of people. e.g. Team "Management" is selected on the email submission form, once approved the an email sends to that group.Appreciate any help 🙂 PS: Is there a way to manually send an email from airtable? Is there a way to put parts of a formula (while writing or editing it) on separate lines, like in a visual editor, to better organize? It works when I cut and paste, but I can’t figure out how to do it in the box. Any suggestions?

Hi All, I'm trying to use a linked record to pull up the TRT of an asset that's listed out as a full timecode, extract just the hours and minutes and put that into a duration field. I've gotten so far as to pull the hours and minutes but when I set the automation to fill the duration, because it's not reading the text as seconds, it's coming in with the wrong duration. I haven't been able to get datetime_parse to convert the text to time. I can sense there's an easier way to do this that I'm just not landing on but nothing I've tried has worked.

Hello everyone,I have used scripts a lot in the Automations pannel. However, I'd like to create more user friendly experiences using the Script Extension.Upon creating my system, it appears that buttons that trigger script extensions can not be run from an Airtable interface. Can anyone confirm that? Is there a way to create better experiences directly in the interface pannel by allowing users to follow a set of actions as defined in those scripts? I know how to make my date show correctly using DATETIME_PARSE(DATETIME_FORMAT({EDate}, 'MM/DD/YY'))And I know how to create a new string by using this formula{EDate (from Events For Sync)}& "- "&{EID#}But what I can't figure out is how to make the first formula work with the second formula into one formula that works.I've tried different ways but nothing seems to work and I am stumpedThis may seem easy for some - but I am frustrated that the date field when you have it set for one way doesn't carry the content over when used in a formula.  But whatever.

We would benefit greatly if a timeline view could be set to week (or preferably a user-selectable qty of days) but still show the records by hour. Today it seems to be only possible to show records by hour when in the single day view. When using any date setting other than Day, even if something is only 9-11am on a given day, it will simply show as an all-day event. This is not effective for scheduling events that are not all day, or, in our case, events that occur through the night.The calendar view does have a 3-day option that can be shown by hour, but it does not allow for grouping so the calendar view is not an appropriate solution for resource planning.

Hey all!I run the backend of a small newspaper, and one thing we do is make a list of "happenings" that we publish each month. I had set up a back-end system via Airtable collection form, and the listings were then compiled into a Google doc via automations, and it was working great until this month when suddenly basically all my automations were failing - suspiciously only ones that involve dates like one-day and multi-day events. Did something change with Airtable automations in the past few weeks or what is going on! I had to manually add all the listings this month and it was a pain. Desperately hoping someone can advise, happy to share more info -- could not for the life of me figure it out,Thank you!!

Hi,I would like to share a record from my base via email.I opened the base, selected the record I wanted to share and chosen "send record."Then I got an error message "this row could not be sent because recipients must be collaborators on the base or workspace." So I invited the recipient to become a collaborator. The recipient received and accepted the invitation but even so they are not showing as a collaborator in the base and I am getting the same error message when I try to "send record."I am on the free plan and I have not allocated all the editor roles availableDoes anyone have any ideas/suggestions what I can do?Thanks 

Is it possible to create a new record from within an interface's form lookup field?I'm running into an issue where I need to be able to use a lookup field in my form, but often need to create a new lookup field record on the spot.  See below image with what I need, but must not be an option.  

Is this simply being overlooked right now by Airtable? Currently we "add new records through a form".  However, the form lacks the capability to "create a new record" for a lookup field.  However, I noticed, that in an interface, if you turn on the ability to edit/delete records in-line, then you get the ability to create a new record directly from the lookup field.  Seems like this is something that just hasn't been rolled out yet?  Editing/adding records inline, isn't a great solution for our workflow, so really trying to figure this out! I synced Wordpress to Airtable using Zapier. Whenever I submit a form on Wordpress, the information is shown automatically in Airtable. However, the only issue I am facing is that attachments are not showing at all. I have a form field where users can upload their profile pictures. The attachment in Airtable shows empty. Only if I upload directly an image from Airtable the image is shown (Row 2). However, that is not what I want. I want the image submitted in the wordpress form to show in Airtable. Any idea where the issue might come from? Thank you for taking the time and helping! Jad
