Hello there!I'm going to use Airtable API to get records and save into mine site. These records will be updated on daily, weekly or even monthly basis inside the Airtable, so using CRON on the server it not best solution. Our idea was to create some trigger URL (maybe WP REST API route) on our site. Is there any reason that Airtable can block this request using "Run a script action" for XMLHttpRequest? Or there is another better way to do this?

Hi,I have a rollup field that uses  ARRAYJOIN(values, "\n") to create text with new lines. I want to copy and past that text to another application. I'm think this worked at one point, but now my options seem to be: a) Copy from the field in the grid view, in which case I get the new lines, but the whole text is surrounded by quotes that I don't want, or b) Copy from the expanded view of the field, or the field in the expanded record view, in which case I get the text without quotes, but all run together without new lines. Neither of those behaviours seems right, and the behaviour being different in the two locations seems odd too.&nbs

I created a new token and tried to use it to replace my API key in a Zapier app connection for Airtable. Thought I was doing the right thing in preparation for the deprecation in 2024. It didn't work. Zapier doesn't seem to recognise the token and wouldn't accept it.Likewise tried to use tokens in direct connections with other subscriber apps. They didn't accept them either.I'm missing something fundamental here right? Grateful for any help.

I have a lookup field that brings a rich text field from other table, but I need to retain the links inside of that original rich text field. Can I do that? A lookup field into a URL field does preserve the link, but a link inside a rich text is not brought across...can I achieve that? Thanks

The latest iOS update for mobile interfaces appears to have removed the ability to 'check' items in the list view.Older mobile interface pages still work and allow boxes to be checked, but newly created interface pages will not work.I'm assuming this is a bug, given that this feature was enabled on release and announced to have this feature.

Hi allI hope I can explain my question clearly enough. I have three tables - Job List, Candidate List, ApplicationsFrom Job List, I want to select a job and create a new Application record which will inherit the selected job title into the job title field on the Application record. Hi All,I'm not sure if this request can be better accomplished with a formula or an automation, but it feels like an automation, so I figured I'd start here. I have a form that populates several fields in a table, one of which is "Email Address".I have a field that is marked "User" which is a multiple user field that contains either a) a Base team member (from the dropdown), b) an email address of an external user, c) or several usersI have set up a few different views in Interfaces that are controlled by this "User" fieldIdeally, when a record is submitted via form I would like the email address they entered to be automatically added to the "User" field as a user so that they can then receive a link to access the Interface that shows their results. This is the use case 90%+ of the time.Is there an easy way to make this happen? I seem to have figured out how I could automatically add a Base team member thru automations, b

I'm writing a script to create records from an API call. One of the fields is a single select option. At the start of the script, I want to use the input option for the user to pick an option from the single select, which will be used for all the records. I don't see any option to pick from a single-select list. Hi all, I’m a novice at airtable and some of the lingo is even over my head, so please bear with me. I’m a small business owner. We use Airtable to track our projects, sales pipeline, contacts, tasks etc. I am trying to create a custom grid view of my projects by quarter so I can see our projections. I would like to hide other info to be able to see a focused view. I have a column which is projected close date - I thought I could filter by this field, but it’s too limiting. Could anyone help here? Appreciate the support!

HI,I'm implementing a base for approx. 20 users and for security and confidentiality reasons I need to use a grid element in the interface to display each user's  records .While the grid is working correctly,  I have some formatting questions that I have been unable to figure out the answer to.1) while the user can copy/paste from the grid out to Excel , is there any way to copy out the column headings as well (as in a CSV Export from the data layer) ?2) As this base is replacing a spreadsheet, I'm displaying 16 consecutive columns of numeric values. Is it possible to format any of these columns to make it easier to read ? ie Bolding, changing background colour of a column etc ?3) Is there any way to hide the Base's Key field in the grid element ?Any help or suggestions appreciated .John

When I finished my visit to customer,  I wrote in aitable base report and then airtable base recorded the day and time in the last modified field. I've created a form for collecting sign in/out info and times for a space here at my work. It's a simple form with a spot to input your ID# and then a single select question with two options (Sign in or Sign out). If you select Sign out then an Optional Conditional Field opens for Notes. It fills out a table for us to view who is in the space at a given time, and keeps track of who was in and when.The form works fine on a computer. There is no issues with that portion of this. But when I try to load it on an older iPad (iPad 2 Mini running 12.5.7 which is as high as this older one will go) in either Chrome (version 92), or Safari (version 12.1) I can't get the form to load. The link works, it tries to load, but I just get nothing. When I tried to view a Gallery View link all I got was the blue outline around the page. Hi everyone!i'm a "newbie" using airtable but i learn fast.I have already the integration w Slack, now i need to create an automation that remember 1 day before a Holiday happens AND I've to tag my partners.....any ideas?i can create the trigger and everything looks good! but i just can't run with the exactly date and tags.

I reached out to Airtable's support 10 business days ago regarding a significant billing issue (upgrading the incorrect workspace to a yearly plan) and then followed up at the 5-day mark with an additional message. Outside of an automated email stating that they would get back to me within 72 hours, I have received no correspondence. Are there any other ways to contact their support staff? Not responding at all is just unacceptable.

I am importing customer support tickets from another database (Hubspot) in an attempt to calculate the following:1) What is the duration between each ticket date (single field) for the same product serial number? The goal is to understand the average duration (in days) between customer tickets for each product (serial number) sold. For example, if one product (serial number) has three ticket records (imported from Hubspot) - If the first ticket record has a date of 1/1/23, the second has a date of 1/4/23 and the third has a date of 1/8/23, it would return the dates of 3 days and 4 days between each sequential record. How do I get Airtable to calculate the date difference from the same field?

I have a base that mirrors a health record system. I have a Forms table and a User Role table connected by a linked record field. Whenever new or existing forms get added to user roles, I have been manually adding and linking the forms to the associated roles. I can pull an updated list of forms associated with a given user role from the system and clean it up in Excel, but when I try to import the new list and merge it with the existing list using the CSV import tool, it always ends up creating duplicates, even when I select "merge with existing records". I've tried using the Import Data tool, but that won't let me update linked record fields.What am I doing wrong? I wish there was some way I could just copy and paste from the form list in Excel into the Forms field in Airtable and have it just overwrite what's in the cell and create new records as needed.Thanks!

Hello,I am looking to create a rollup field to display the next task due for a project.  What I would like to do is have the rollup field display the task name, but the formula should reference something like the MIN({due date}) in order to select which of the many tasks are due next?  Can't seem to make it work and am wondering if it's possible or if I'm going about it wrong?Thanks!

Hello! Whenever I create a new record, one particular value from a Multi-Select table automatically populates. I didn't intend to do that and can't figure out how to reverse it. I've tried to figure it out on my own, but haven't been able to yet. Thanks so much for help!
