Hi all, I’m running few food courts in parallel in our company. Each is in a different location. I want to create a process that will help me do the following: Create a menu for each day of the week (maybe even more than 1 menu per day as we have few meals) including the amount available for each item in the menu Allow users to order 1 item from the menu (per day, per meal) Allow the kitchen manager to review the orders Allow the kitchen worker to mark orders as delivered Later I would want to create some dashboard stats & inventory management. I would be happy to understand if there is a template that works best for me or how do I build this? Thanks, Shay

I have a base which relates artists and exhibitions. When I want to see all the exhibitions (over 50) in which an artist participated, I want to see them in chronological order. In the same way, when I want to see all the artists (more than 50) who participated in an exhibition, I want to see them in alphabetical order. For the time being, I can only see them in the order in which I entered the various records. Where can I learn more about this?

Thanks in advance for the help . I am new to Airtables have been using Zoho creator for years. What I want should be simple I just need some pointers and example would be really great . Basically I will have a list of task . The list will get longer each day .Each time I invite a collaborator or person to the list they will have the same steps to complete as the others… I was planning on using link for each person instead of sending invite . When a collaborator or person completes a task it is removed from their view , sorted to bottom whatever. I only want each person to see the task they have left not everyone elses task. Currently I have 450 people to give this task list

Hi All! I’m currently importing records in the morning, and would like to set up an automation to mark each one for deletion 18 hours later. Two questions: Is it possible to delete the records automatically (using automations), just inside of Airtable? If no, I can use Integromat to do the deletion. However, how would I mark each record for deletion once it’s entered into the base? Thanks in advance for helping out this Airtable noob!

Hi All. I’m so beyond frustrated with this, I think this is my last resort before leaving Airtable - a website I adore- when it works. I can’t find help on this anywhere. In the Social Media Planning + Design base, there are two Platforms or groups: Facebook and Instagram. I would like to SIMPLY ADD other social media platforms but I can’t for the life of me figure out how. I’m just trying to copy the bleeping things. Copy! I can’t copy them. I need to allow visitors to a website to share a podcast track in an audio library which I have created in Airtable, to Facebook or Twitter. The track is a record in the table in the base.

I am looking for suggestions on how to compute the cost of an assembly configured by a customer through a form. I think I want to create a junction table based on the form responses but have not found a way to do this. Linked records seem to be only selectable through manual entry and initial exploration using Zapier indicates that it will only create a single row/record and not enter all the line items of the assembly. I am new to Zapier and have not played with multi-step Zaps yet, but our assemblies are typically 50+ items, so if each line item required a step, that doesn’t seem very efficient - and potentially also cannot create a linked value. I am new to Airtable but have spent time using Access, etc. I am creating a Project Tracker that identified Tasks per Project. I then want to capture the costs associated with some of the Tasks. Example… Project: Renovate Entryway Task(s): Remove Existing Flooring Install New LVP Flooring Underlayment 500 Square Feet $0.45/Square Foot $225.00 Luxury Vinyl Plank ABC 500 Square Feet $1.65/Square Foot $825.00 Paint Area I have created the Project Tracker Base, Project Table, Task Table and Materials Table. I can expand the the Project to see the Tasks. I can also expand the Task to see the Materials. How do I setup the views to see the information as I have illustrated above? Thanks

Example: Table 1(via Column 1) is linked to Table 2 (via Column 1). Table 2 Column 2 is Single Line field with a “DEFAULT text”. New record is added in Table 2. Column 1 in Table 2 is auto-populated. The expected behaviour would be the Field 2 in Table 2 will get automatically pre-filled with DEFAULT text. However, that’s now happening. Field 2 is not auto-populated, it stays blank. Manually adding another record to Table 2 will of course trigger pre-filling text in Column 2 as expected. It’s just the text is not pre-filled when the record is added through the linked Table 1. I just want to share this but it’s not a big deal though because it can be resolved by using a formula field instead with “…text…” as the formula.

HI Guys I have a dog walking business and have customer contracts and also pet information sheets. These sheets are like a form. So was wondering if I can link them all together through Airtable so that I can send out the forms as an online form to be filled in. Also when i receive them back I can have different tables all linked in i.e. Vet information, type of dog food,. This way I have an email list to send out newsletters and also do tables for various things. TIA Ben

Hello, I have somewhat complex workbook that I setup a couple years ago. I need help making an important adjustment. I have an “Input tab” where I link every line item (“Occurrence”) with a “Reference Entity” on another tab. I am using the lookup function to combine all Occurrences that link to a given Reference Entity. This way I can see all the information I have about that Reference Entity in one cell (the “Rollup Cell”). New Occurences appear in the Rollup Cell in chronological order. (whenever I add new occurance it is the last text to show up in Rollup Cell. However, the amount of data in the rollup cell is getting very large (can be 50-75 pages of text in some of them). So to see the most recent addition to the cell I need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the Rollup cell. This is very cumbersome. MY QUESTION: HOW CAN I CHANGE THE LOOKUP FUNCTION SO THAT NEW OCCURRENCES ARE ADDED IN REVERSE CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER (newest entries are at the top of Ro

Hey everyone! New here…Hope my question makes sense! I’ve created a table to track my book sales and royalties. It works super great! However, I’d like to link a TOTAL ROYALTIES table to the SUM of every month’s royalties, but I can’t figure out how to do that. A book’s table has columns for month, downloads and royalties by type (ebook, print, audiobook, etc.) and total monthly royalties (which is calculated using a formula). The summary bar for the monthly royalties shows the number I’d like to see in the Total Royalties Table, where I’d like to see ALL my books and all their earnings. IS there a way to pull the data from the summary bar into another table? OR is there a way to see the summary bar info on a card in gallery view? Thanks so much for any help you can offer! ali P.S. This question was asked, answered and closed earlier. I’m new to Airtable and I want to create a pull down with several options. How do i do this?

I have a form where people enter the name of an item and its current market price. This then populates a table that I use to do further market analysis. The problem is that people may have to submit this form up to 50 times in a single sitting and having to submit, click to reset the form, and submit again is really tedious. Is there a way I can just have them add multiple “rows” to a form and submit all of their data at once? This seems like an obvious feature to me but I don’t see any way to do it.

I am looking to show the most recent status update for each step. My table includes: Objectives Steps (Individual steps within the objectives) Team Members Status Reports (form for the team members to submit updates for each steps) A few questions: Should I create some sort of a filter/automation within the Status Report table to show the most recent status per step? Do I need another table (something like “Most Recent Updates”) that pulls from Status reports and somehow only shows the most recent step? Can I show the most recent updates right in the Steps table? (This is what I’d prefer, but i’m not sure what fields I would need to add / filter / sort by to make that happen)

I’ve scoured the forums and docs for a solution to this for the past couple days, but am still struggling to determine if and how it’s possible, plus how much manual work or custom scripting it requires. Situation I have three separate tables, two of which are imported CSVs. They have totally different columns, but each has a column labeled email, EMAIL, or Email with an email. I want to create a master table that uses the email as a unique ID and pulls in data from the three source tables. I’d like to update the two tables using CSV imports periodically and have the master table reflect any changes to existing records. In addition, I want to automatically create new rows when an email appears in a source table that isn’t already in the master table. Hi, I’m new to Airtable and just starting to figure it out. I feel like there must be a way to do what I want to do, but I can’t figure it out. I have one table with a list of items. I have a second table with a list of tasks that need to get done. Each task is linked to a specific item- so on my Tasks table there is a column for Item that shows me which Item the task is linked to. Each Item is linked to multiple tasks. Each task has a column with a checkbox for ‘Complete’ I need a way to set it so that if all tasks linked to a specific item are marked as complete, the item itself gets marked as complete somehow, so I can filter it out of the main view of items. The item can get marked as complete with either a checkbox field or single select dropdown field or whatever kind of field will work. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thank you!

Hi! I am giving Airtable a whirl and I’d love some ideas around designing the base structure of the table. The process is for taking an order for Fibre Internet on our website, which involves capturing a customers details, however, then taking that order through several checks, steps, delivery to ultimately making a customer “live”. Each customer becomes a single entry. Some Fibre services have multiple points of contact. For example, someone might sign up but their housemate might need to contact us for help on the service (account). Getting the primary point of contact details is straight forward and the fields are limited. e.g. name, email, contact number, desired contact channel (e.g. whatsapp/email/telegram).
