I've created a script that creates child records in a child table linked to parent records in a parent table through a linked field. It creates a set number of child records per parent record, if a set field in the parent record meets the conditions, depending on the number of records in a "count table" with a non-empty value in a designated "count field". It also supports populating a designated "category" field in the child table with the value of the "count field" in the "count table".I originally created this for the translation of texts. The parent table hosts the English text, and when the workflow (designated by a single select field) moves to "Translate", the script checks a table listing the languages to be translated into, and creates a number of child records equal to the number of languages, and categorises the child-records based on the language.It can be used for other systems where a set number of linked records need to be created automatically in a separate table based

I find it kinda cool, and it was super quick to make, so sharing the example if someone finds it useful. You’ll need to sign up to OpenAI and generate your own API key there. I use Airtable to track and monitor several backlinks, which I manually track with a Va i.e. do-follow, no-follow, live, removed. Now, I’d like to have a column in Airtable that automatically updates the status of the backlink without having my VA do it. Here’s a custom app that does it well: BacklinkManager.io

Hi, I would like to ask if this is possible. So we have an airtable view that contains all the schools in the Dallas metro area. Under Dallas, there are 58 schools. But we want to get the top 20 schools base on their School score. Is there a way to get the top 20 schools with the biggest "School Score" via the formula field or scripting? Though we can use the "Sort" but we want to have a field that will be updated into "Yes" or maybe "To be uploaded" when their school score is included in the top 20 biggest school scores.

Goal: A user can create a post including any version of a youtube or twitch URL. When the post is created it appears in a repeating group and the link appears as an embedded video. Current State: The entire site is already built using a combination of airtable and bubble.io. This is the last feature that I need. Work: I am open to ideas. What I know right now is that it can be done either with a Regex Formula or JavaScript Automation using the video id. Budget: Hopefully, under $200. But we can discuss it, based on your idea. 

hello, I have a small but may complicated issue. I have a data table, that lists several items to view over a website. the form for the table works well to populate the fields and add items. what is needed is another "contact form" that a visitor can use, to send inquiry, where the subject field is "prefilled" with the specific item number that the visitor "clicked-on" and expanded. like adding a button field, that will open that form, with the prefilled value from that exact column-row intersection. any ideas?

Hello, I want to use the view timeline with the utilization bar. My timeline view allows me to assign tasks to employees. Employees have unavailable days. So I can't assign them spots during this time. The Unavailable Days Utilization Bar only appears in black when the task is assigned to that date. I've been using Airtable for a while now, and while it's a fantastic platform for managing and organizing data, I've noticed that the lookup functionality can be quite limited at times. Specifically, I've experienced issues with having to create multiple lookup fields just to perform simple calculations or data lookups across different tables. So, I've started working on a new tool that aims to solve these lookup issues and enhance Airtable's functionality. With this tool, you'll be able to quickly reference data from other tables without having to create linked fields or complex formulas, and easily perform calculations across multiple tables . I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced these lookup issues and would be interested in trying out my tool. When I open the calendar workspace on mobile (android) and on days that I have an appointment and a blue dot it does not show the record. I have a message that says "this date has no record" if I click Done and re-open it the appointments are there. This is really frustrating - and happens EVERY SINGLE time on every day.Please help!
