Hello,I'm recording international transport orders in Airtable, which require an origin and destination location at the city level. I have linked tables with cities, states/provinces, and countries, just like the CRM template by AirTable. When using a form view directly on the base table, I just add the City and the picker will display the related states and countries. I also created a form as an interface, but the city picker won't show other fields from the City table. Is there a way to show other data associated with the City when selecting it in an Interface form?
Hello, all,I just finished working on a task management Airtable base called Sort Stack. It features a prioritization algorithm, recurring tasks, notifications, a Google Calendar integration, automatic project creation, task dependency, support for multiple projects per task, and more. For more information, check out this Gumroad page.
Hello Guys!So I have two tables and I want to bring data from one to another how can I do it so when name from one table matches the name from another table bring data from one table fields to another tables specified fields.
Hi guys,We are a small content agency looking for an Airtable expert to support our team. We are a growing company and therefore need help to get organized with all our data. We are looking for a freelancer who helps us with Airtable on a monthly basis. For now we don't have a lot of work but we are looking for somebody who wants to grow with the company, has good ideas how to improve our data base and maybe has experience with other programs as well.If you are interested, please contact me. Thanks.
Hi, we are a rapidly growing ecommerce company based in Melbourne Australia (Vermont) specialising in electric / micro mobility. We are seeking an Airtable specialist to help us automate some of our operations. We use Shopify plus, so you'll need to be experienced with this. Would prefer to work with someone local to Melbourne as it would be easier to see our operations. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey all, thanks a lot for any help on this… Right now we are manually tracking the performance of TikTok sounds (# creations) and TikTok posts (likes, comments, shares) on AirTable and displaying them on a front-end for our clients on a daily basis. Since this is a manual process, we often miss a day or two in reporting which distorts the results reported on our front-end. In order to feel comfortable putting the front-end app in the hands of our clients at scale I would need to somehow automate the scraping of this data such that I know its going to get recorded every day without fail. Does anyone know how this this type of data scraping works? I am looking to hire a consultant to help us set it up. Thanks a lot for your help.
Hi there,Probably many of you experience this situation when after getting good grasp of Airtable, you end up using it progressively for ... everything. Even when people tell you there are better tools, you should use instead.BackgroundThere is a great React project Remotion, which I wanted to try for a while. At the same time I also wanted to generate some shorts for my YT channel. To little surprise, I ended up using Airtable as a backend. What it doesI ended up with a tool that creates video out of template + content defined inside Airtable. Here is example of video:How it worksHere is a demo base I used for above: https://airtable.com/shryu85CEPUD2IHX4Each row in Airtable is converted into a video layer with start, duration, media (image, video, audio), text and animation&styling. To render it as a video at the moment (this is still WIP) you need to start the project on your local machine, connect your Airtable with PAT token and render locally o
Hello all,I have a database with a list of records representing people that are uploaded every month with new people coming in and people going out. Each record (people) is assigned to a group of 5 people to share ideas and experience. I did the first repartition where People (ie records) are assigned to specific group but I am stumbling on the automation of the process. The idea is that now, every time someone is coming in, I can automaticaly update its record with the group he or she is assigned to (meaning assigned to the first group with less than 5 people in it).I tried numerous formulas and automations without success...did anyone have any suggestion on how I could do so ?Thanks for your help !Paul

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this or not. I highly recommend that anyone who is in need of an art proofing solution or a document approval solution checks out Onalu. I was surpised at how long I had to look for a solution for proofing art, I thought would have been previously developed! Onalu is still in beta so they have been extremely helpful with any questions I have had and they have been making videos for any problems I have come across. Here's the link to their Product Walkthrough for more details:https://onalu.notion.site/Product-Walkthrough-333ab6214dd44968ab05906a9c322bf8
Hello allmy group have access to two forms in a base. Usually, they have to go to the base then the form and click on Open form. For four days now the Open form tab has disappeared for all users except the collaborators who have admin access. So the title of the form is still visible for them but they can't open it through the tab and have access to the form. I have attached evidence, one example of the interface for normal users and one for the admins. Can you please help me fix it
Hello Everyone! In a team, it is really useful to know when the schema changes to be sure that there is no mistake. You can use ncScale to create real-time alerts for every new table created, field edition, field deletion, and field addition.1/ Connect your Airtable Database to your ncScale.com app2/ Create an observer by selecting your Airtable DatabaseYou can be very specific if you need an alert only if a specific user change something, or on a specific field only.3/ Add a channel to be notified (Slack, Webhook, Email)4/ Receive alert for each new schema change 🎉Here is a how-to video:You can signup and try it for free on 👉 https://ncscale.com
After spending the entire day trying to figure out on my own, I have decided to employ some help!I have a form setup where my techs can upload info and photos that populate a filtered view. Once the form is submitted, it triggers an email to be sent to my inbox with all of the attached photos. It ONLY works when done on a phone and does not work when the form is completed on a regular browser. If done on a desktop the automation fails. Additionally, when the form is completed on the form, only some of the photos are attached in the automated email. The end goal here is to then take this email and have PowerAutomate or Zappier to load it into my OneDrive. Thanks,Ben
tl;dr version: A demonstration base offering three approaches to formatting numbers or numerals while providing ‘pretty-print’ formatting (e.g., currency indicators, thousands and decimal separators, and so on). Allows for non-US separators and decimals, as well. The third table supports parentheses for negative values, right-aligned output with a specified number of columns, and more. A while back, in response to this query, I started on what I thought would be no more than a half-hour’s task of hunting down some code I’d written, giving it a quick polish, and slapping together a reply. Two months later… Here is a demonstration base that includes ‘pretty-print’ routines for long numbers and currency amounts. As you may have already discovered, when converting a number to a string — for instance, when concatenating it with explanatory text, or when combining fields to make better use of gallery or kanban screen space — it loses any field formatting that may have been applied. For exam

Hey everyone, I’m having trouble creating an employee scheduling base that has the functionality I’m looking for. Our company is a delivery service, and services close to 50 regions. For each region, there is at least one “opener” and one to two “closers”. The functionality I’m looking for: Be able to create weekly schedules by assigning employees to region shifts on specific dates Display employees in each shift based on their availability Have the ability to account for “call-outs”, which will be submitted through a form Have an easy UI for managers to create the schedule for each week The biggest problem I have run into is the date functionality, as there is no way I see to create a “week start date” function and have the rest of the week populate like in excel. This is also an issue with row/column management for me. I’m looking for someone to go over all of this for me, and either give guidance on how to do it take it over completely. This is what we’re hoping to transition from
Hi!I recently made a video on how you can dynamically link multiple records in airtable to a single one using make. I know for a fact this is something quite a few people struggle with. Here's the video!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWed6E8Fp0o&feature=youtu.beHere's a written guide on how to do it also:https://flexnocode.ghost.io/how-to-link-multiple-records-in-aritable-to-one-in-aritable/
Good Evening allI have a script I am trying to bring alive. I am calling an HTTPS endpoint that returns an array of features. Each feature has a unique ID. After the initial fetch, I would like subsequent fetches to only insert new feature IDs if they are not already in the table. Each fetch from the endpoint returns everything added within 24hrs, not just new features. Therefore, I only want to insert new IDs.Table Name : lightningUnique Field Name : litIDFetch Unique Field Name : litIDHere is what I have for the script at this moment: let table = base.getTable('lightning') let { records } = await table.selectRecordsAsync() console.log (records) let strikes = await fetch('https:********') let { features } = await strikes.json() console.log(features) Thank you all for any help. Granting new feature requests, previously the domain of technology vendors, may change dramatically with the advent of AGI. Here's a simple example.Stephen Orr requested a new feature similar to the ALL() formula in Excel. I’ve seen many of his posts, and he’s sharp, so I watch his posts closely.A formula that returns a comma separated list of all values across records in a view for a given field:ALL({some field})This is a good feature request. I made a similar request in 2018 for Split(). That was 2,160 days ago. Still waiting. I hope Stephen is more successful in getting Airtable’s attention. What he’s asking for is tantamount to a Parquet data format, which is one of the fastest file types to read generally and much faster than either JSON or CSV. It’s like a pivot table - fields are listed down the data structure, and columns are represented as arrays for each field. Stephen only wants a single column’s values as an array, and Airtable should accommodate this. The advantages of a Par
I keep returning to see if it's better. It's not. We try to create nicely polished content for all the great Airtable users, but this community app does not reflect the vast polish, fit, and finish of Airtable. [sigh]C'mon Khoros guys! This is content management 101.
I wasted a few hours on this so I figured i would save someone the same headache. Step 1. Create a shareable gridview link on your table Step 2. Create a Google Sheet Step 3. Click on the “Add-on” link in the main menu bar, on the dropdown select “Get Add Ons” Step 4. Search for “Airtable” and on the dropdown select “Airtable Importer by Railsware” Step 5. Install it, it’s free, but it works (I have no relationship with this company) Step 6. After you install it, refresh your Google Sheet, then go to “Add Ons” link again Step 7. Select the “Airtable importer” on the dropdown, on the flyout menu, select “Open Sidebar” Step 8. On item 4, paste your shareable gridview link and select import into current sheet The importer will only import the image URLs in the column’s cell(s). It uses link breaks in the cell to separate the URLs. If you need to remove the line breaks and replace them with a comma, Step 1. Select the column range with the URLs Step 2. Press “Command + Shift + H” on Mac or
Hey everyone, I'm Ian, founder at Bracket. We make it easy to sync data between Airtable and other databases, like Postgres.Really excited to announce that after months of collecting feedback from members of this community, we've just released our totally redesigned interface! You can check out a demo in the video below, or try it yourself - most syncs take less than 3 minutes to set up :0Not only is the interface way easier to use than before, but we've released a bunch of new features:Ability to sync deletes automatically or manuallyAbility to spin up a Postgres table from scratch using just an existing Airtable tab (or vice versa!)Better monitoring and alertsHope some of you find this useful! Happy syncing 🙂
Hi there !Hope you’re all doing well !My name is Thomas, and I’m the founder of Nocodable, an online learning marketplace 100% dedicated to no code !We’re actively searching for instructors on Airtable to create courses on the platform in English. As you may know, creating and selling online courses is a great way to diversify your income sources, as well as building your audience and generating leads for mentoring or coaching you may offer !However, creating traction and finding customers for your course is a daunting task and requires a lot of efforts.Which is why we’ve created Nocodable. To create a big library of no code courses that everyone can browse, and to help vocoders share their knowledge and be rewarded for it.We’re commissioned base, so uploading your course is obviously 100% free, no subscription or whatsoever. We’ve launched the platform on March 15th and we’re happy of the results. So far, we’ve had only French speaking courses, and we’re extending in English. If yo
