Hello, I have a small amount of experience writing Airtable scripts within the context of the Airtable automation “Run-Script” action. For example, I’ve written an automation Run-Script which automatically deletes whatever record triggered the automation. However, what I need to do now is a little more complex, and is crucial to my overall goals, so I want to make sure and get it right. I know it is not a big project, but I would be happy to pay someone to write the needed script for me. Here is what I need: Background: My Base has two tables: TABLE1 and TABLE2 AUTOMATION STEP 1: The automation will be triggered by “When a record enters a view” in TABLE1 AUTOMATION STEP 2: The next step of my automation is a “Find Record” action which finds a record in TABLE2 that matches the new record from TABLE1 that triggered the automation, based on matching conditions AUTOMATION STEP 3: The final step of my automation is a “Run-Script” action. Hi All I’m building an app with Adalo using Airtable as my database. I have, as of now, 1 base with two tables, users and products. A product can have many users and a user can have many products. Obviously there is a linked field connecting Users → Products and it’s a multi-select linked field (a product can have many users). I’m trying to “add” a user or “append” a user to the user array through the airtable API (PATCH) and each time I get something to work, I can only get it to overwrite the current user in that table as opposed to adding a new user. Any thoughts on what I’m missing here? Thanks!

About us: We are a large online media streaming company who has implemented airtable for our workflows involving licensing, creative, production, and post production - and are looking to expand this further into our marketing/advertising, sales, and merchandising workflows. What I’m Looking for: A contractor with advanced knowledge on either Airtable or RDS in general to assist in optimizing the current implementation, reviewing the established automations & automation optimizations, new tables & syncs to expand current implementation. Hi Airtable community :wave: I am looking to create a field that updates based on the entry history of another a field. For example, imagine I had two fields “A” and “B”, and “A” is a multiple select field and “B” is the field that I would like to create. It would function like this: Field A contains multiple select value “X” and if I change this to “Y” then I would like Field B to show “X”. If I then change Field A from multiple select value “Y” to “Z”, I would then like Field B to show “Y”. To provide some more context, I’m looking to solve this so that I can send a weekly update email that shows how a field changed during the period. I’d really appreciate some help :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello! I’m looking for someone who has experience with Airtable and building out a pretty robust base to help me log my weight training and checklist of meals to eat throughout the day. I’ve been running a small startup and I’ve put on a bit of weight, I’ve hired a fitness coach and nutritionist to help me with those goals but the current app they use “trainerize” has just a terrible experience and I’d rather have full ownership of that data. I’m looking to have someone help me build a base that will allow me to do the following: Example: -Workout Name: Dumbbell Lateral Raise -Description of best form -Set and rep info: 5 sets with 10 reps -Difficulty (how hard to push yourself 1-10: 8 -Track weight used for each set: 45lbs -Track real number of reps: 10 (usually the same number or +1) I’d also like to be able to see the last weight used when I come back to that workout so I can always shoot for a new personal record. The other day a friend of mine watched as I imported 7,000 support tickets from Jira into Airtable and then auto-tagged them in less than a minute. He was amazed; I was yawning. I suppose it’s a pretty cool thing, but we often get good at something(s) and forget about how much time they save and possibly how much more useful the data becomes when we attend to the seemingly little things like consistent keyword tagging through automation. I use my Airdrop framework to do this - it’s a simple script management system that allows me to use ordinary javascript functions in Google Apps Script (or in Airtable) to perform acrobatics on Airtable data and all without setting up a new API app every time I need a new API process. But I think you can also do this through Zapier, Integromat and your own API code of course. Airdrop allows me to frame an API process in a pseudo-code script like this: Once this script is made “active”, Airdrop will run this function passing the support Titles field

We are looking for a US based AirTable expert who can do simple one-off fixes (hourly work) from time to time. Our base has already been built out pretty extensively, we just need a little extra help with some things that are beyond my expertise.
