Hello there, We are looking to build a custom app, and we need help, a developer who could do that for us? We collect medical responses from patients online. They simply answer questions and upload images. We store everything in Airtable. It has many columns 100+, some are empty because Airtable shows all columns, but clients get only specific ones, based on their problem. So there are both empty and non-empty columns. We simply need a nice preview of data in iframe. To see only fields with values (Empty fields would not be displayed in iframe preview) V1 We want to click on a record and see a full preview of that record in the iframe on the right (or this can be a button in a column or simply a click on a record, e.g. like URL preview app) It must show values for one record only (the selected record, you could scroll vertically to view all the data of that record) Display field names as new line, with a bold fond (Showing only columns and fields which are non-empty) Display fields va
If you’re creating/developing/managing bases for a certain client. Do you create a new workspace for your client under your account and just bill them monthly or do you just help them by accessing their account’s workspace? Thanks.
On Monday I’m launching an Airtable newsletter called Base Notes, where I’ll be sharing Airtable tips, news, and other info every week! Subscribe here if you’re interested: Airtable ✏️ Subscribe to Base Notes - Airtable Fill out the "✏️ Subscribe to Base Notes" form quickly and securely on Airtable. It’s only fitting that Airtable plays a pivotal role in the production of the newsletter, acting as the hub between Notion (writing) and MailChimp (list management and publishing). Eventually I’ll share more details about how I put everything together, and of course the best way to know when that’s available will be to subscribe. :slightly_smiling_face:
Admittedly, an edge case, but in working with the Airpress WordPress-to-Airtable API and plugin, I ran into problems when attempting to display only the first image from an attachment field. After hours spent stepping my way through the plugin, I finally discovered I’d been debugging the wrong module entirely. Discouraged, I took a break, fed the cat, got another cup of coffee – and then wondered if I might not be able to goose Airtable into giving me the data directly. Five minutes later, I had it. The example assumes an Attachment field named ‘images’, but should work with attachments of any type. To extract the URL MID(images,FIND("(",images)+1,(FIND(")",images)-1)-(FIND("(",images))) To extract the file name LEFT(images,FIND(" ",images)-1) This works because Airtable will cast an Attachment field to a comma-delimited string of values when it is acted upon by a text function. Each attachment value consists of two parts, separated by a space: the original file name (sans path) and th
Hello, I’m looking for someone to help set up our nonprofit’s Airtable. We are a nonprofit serving a local homeless population of about 40-60 people. We provide resources and employment for these clients who are experiencing homelessness. We have two employment programs, and need to track payroll based on participant and program worked, and then need to pull data such as how many times has X participant worked X program, gross pay, etc. Additionally, we need a case notes section that will allow us to update case notes per person, and track data points such as referrals, location, housing status, etc. Please contact me at lexi@abundantgracecw.org or reply to my thread here. Thank you! :slightly_smiling_face:

I took a bit of a break from a custom PIM mvp that I’m building for work to make a personal photo album for my girlfriend and myself to collaborate on together. I don’t use any social media, so this is a good bridge between the gap of trying to show someone more than just a photo, and refusing to suffer the noise that comes from an endless scroll app. Plus, my girlfriend and I are both kind of big nerds, and she absolutely loves that I built something like this for us that she can show off to her girlfriends from her phone :slightly_smiling_face:
Hello everyone! I created a 2-way Google Calendar realtime sync Airtable app for myself and thought that this might be helpful for others as well. Let me know if you would be interested in using it - happy to share.

Looking for a consultant to build out : Dashboard that presents strategic Partnerships with columns such as : Priority, Customer Count, Investment amount, estimated revenue, order count. I would like to see added a new condition that would allow an automation to stop at a certain point if conditions are met. Currently, I feel like I need to create a script to do that. Unless there is another method that I don’t see?
When an automation kicks in and creates records in a linked table, it seems as if the linked records in the interface doesn’t get refreshed. Am I the only one seeing this happen?
Hi, tried to script “show size of all attachments in all base”, and after debugging with “check null”, “check empty array”…“check array of nulls” still get unexpected result. Investigation discovered rare bug ( I checked several huge tables with tens thousands of attachments, and that’s just in one record) I suppose it’s an interupted upload result, but I surprised it exists there. Can’t be downloaded, guided to other storage. Link is not working. No problem, just to inform. I discovered that script is useless. Airtable detects similar docs and store once, with linking the same. Btw, it’s an answer to @itoldusoandso post https://community.airtable.com/t/if-same-attached-document-image-in-two-tables-within-the-base-does-it-double-the-size-of-the-base/33770?u=alexey_gusev I’m gonna to rewrite my script using Map data type, with url as key, so it will display correct total size. Sadly, it can’t use recursion used in “sum” function In case someone interested, i can put the source here.
You no longer need to understand APIs to use the Data Fetcher app! Simply choose the application you want to import data from and select any options. You can install the latest Data Fetcher here. The following applications are available: Facebook Ads Google Analytics Google Search Console Webflow Adalo Binance Coingecko CoinMarketCap Alpha Vantage Clearbit Microlink (create screenshots, PDFs from URLs) ApiFlash (create screenshots from URLs) exchangerate.host Lots more applications will be added over the next few weeks. You can also request an application.
hey everyone! wanted to share a resource we put together. if anyone here’s thinking about using Airtable as a CMS - here’s how we did it. lmk if you have any questions! :slightly_smiling_face: https://www.whalesync.com/blog/using-airtable-as-a-cms
Does anyone have a super automated process for turning the data in a record into a formatted, multi-page document and then attaching it to the record? Using a button field in the flow would be fine, but I don’t want a new tab created. I don’t mind using Integromat, but want to avoid Google drive modules if possible.
Setting default values on fields has been a long-time request from Airtable users. Set defaults on fields Product Suggestions Simply the ability to set a default on fields other than numeric On a date, the obvious is Today On a string, just set a default value What are default values in fields? When you create new records (or update existing ones), you probably have multiple fields that need to have the same data every time. Default values allow you to add information to your field only 1 time. Then, each time a new record is created, that field automatically fills in with the data. You don’t have to go in and complete every single field that needs information. It’s done for you! :star: We created an easy way to set default values in your Airtable records with On2Air Amplify Here’s how: P.S. Amplify can also set defaults on previously created records! :star: Try it out by adding it to your Airtable base from the marketplace: A
Hello, fellow Airtablers! My company needs a solution for our product and inventory management problems, and we would like to hire one of your bright minds to help make it happen! We are a specialty manufacturer that uses hundreds of individual pieces, parts, and ingredients in the wide range of products we produce. We offer both regular, pre-defined products and custom products to meet customer needs. Many of these products utilize sub-assemblies that are also used in other products. We have some thoughts on how to make something work, but are limited in time and know that one of you will have far more knowledge about Airtable to help us build a solution that works for us now, as well as in the future. Hopeful one of you has the depth of knowledge in Airtable and the breadth of experience in consulting and developing to provide creative solutions to this problem and countless others we haven’t uncovered yet. Thanks! Chris
Hello,I am looking to hire an expert that can help my commercial real estate firm. Below are the notes and scope: I would like to have tables for deal flow of property information, where specific data sets about properties are collected. When the specified data sets are met, they trigger a new record, “transaction/deal” within another table. I would like to have a global view of all transactions and data sets via a dashboard if possible. This would include deals, progress, address, picture of the property via google (if possible). Client facing table that would share only limited data. This would be essentially client investor updates. Table 3: transaction/deal table. This would hold the larger data sets, where it would be toggled by view. I would like to have the ability to follow up with brokers/points of contact via a button, for more “on demand” follow up. Follow Ups: I would like follow-ups to be something I can click a button and follow up with the point-of-contact with either S
So I’m a little bit “paranoid” and I wanted to backup my Airtable data into Google sheets, because… you never know :slightly_smiling_face: . I used Google Script Apps for this. The script allows you to define one or more tables and views to import along with possible attachments. The script is uploaded on GitHub: GitHub - robiningelbrecht/airtable-google-sheets-backup: This script allows you to backup your Airtable data to Google sheets.
Hi community, I have a table and I want to do the following: Allow users to visit a website and Search the table for an item an Choose to either view reviews or Post their own 1 to 5 star review and Sign up for alerts Any ideas? I’m new to Airtable but I think the design could be multipurpose. Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I have asked support for some guidance, perhaps some examples or white papers on how to deal with Purchase Orders, but so far, no response. So in the meantime, I am hoping to get information from the community. Besides of having couple (or more tables) to store the Purchase Orders and its PO Lines, I need to create the Input form to enter a PO and of course, a print out. I have played with Forms, but I don’t see how to display the master-slave tables so the user can enter as many items as they want. Is this possible in Airtable or does it need to done outside of the environment? Thanks in advance. Robert
Hello, An interesting use case for Airtable can be curating data for others and selling access to it. Curating data can save time for someone, and it might be valuable if the data serves a business goal such as lead generation. There are untapped niches in every kind of data that are still good ideas to pursue, if you make it focused on a specific audience. Airtable makes it very easy to curate and update such data with bases and views. An example to the above is this one, built with Airtable, and made specifically for agencies to find new clients. We’re not affiliated but found this to be a great example to the thesis. If you don’t have coding skills or access to developers, we’ve added a nocode embed capability to our tool SaaSBox, to launch such a curated data service as the above. Airtable does have some limitations for protecting data through a paywall, such that when you share an Airtable base, all the data in it are accessible. We solved this problem by creating views with diffe
Hey all  , we’re really thrilled to be able to share this with you - we’ve just raised our 1st funding round at Codemap! We want to say a huge THANK YOU to the Airtable community for all the support over the past year since our launch - what a journey this has been! Our story so far is just another proof of how game-changing no-code is - keep on building! :raised_hands: With 2021 soon coming to an end, we also wanted to share a helpful resource and a showcase of what our community on Codemap has been working on over the past year and beyond - last week we released the largest curated database of 800+ no-code projects built by experts & teams on Codemap. The builds are categorized by types, stacks, and many more others key parameters, so you can discover what others are building with Airtable and how! Check out the showcase here to get ideas for your current or next build! Don’t hesitate to share any thoughts or feedback with us. Wishing everyone a great remainder of the y
