I’m stuck on how to set up a few fields/tables and am pretty sure I only need a 15-30 consultation I know there’s a way to do what I want to do, but I can’t figure it out. Should I look for someone here to help me or ask in the airtable community? Thanks
Looking for help with creating customizable multipage PDF reports from our Airtable data! Currently we’re using Google Docs to create a report, each with it’s own master header, with a varying amount (2-50) of cues (records), each cue needing it’s own group header and each having it’s own set of specific data (10-20 columns). Usually they run anywhere from 2-10 pages long. Our recipients need it in this format. We’d love to have it be aesthetically easy to read, with customizable color coding. Printing as PDF directly from Airtable isn’t working due to formatting, grid spacing, longer descriptions getting cut off, and inadequate headers. Page Designer isn’t working due to only having 1 record per page (even 2 doesn’t work if I “halve” the printing dimensions) - for context, sometimes 1 project (report) has 8-20 episodes, and each episode has 1-30 cues, and each cue can have 2-8 songs… that is a ton of range, so a set dimension for each record just causes excessive blank space, like in
Hello all, I recently came into control of a very large Airtable database. upwards of 30,000+ records, several hundred views, and 30 tables. I need either resources I can go to to see/learn about best practices for cleaning, automating, and building out workflows or a person who I can go to for workflows. Person would need to have proven work in a similar type of project, with large amount of data, intricate workflows, and have experience with this. Thanks!

Hi Everyone! I work for a non-profit organization that lets volunteers read stories from kid authors and submit personalized notes of encouragement to them. We use Airtable for both the user interface (the stories are embedded in a gallery view and volunteers submit their notes through a form) and the back end. Right now, the work of assigning stories to individual volunteers for each event is done by hand, but we know it’s possible to create a Javascript block that can make this a breeze! We’re looking for someone that can build a script to: Let the user select an event they’d like to assign stories to Find the attendee list for that event Automatically assign x amount of stories to each volunteer, allowing for user input on certain parameters (i.e. how many stories should each volunteer get, would you like to pack stories from authors in a certain grade/school, etc) Please let me know if you’re able to help!
I am looking to learn Airtable so I can utilize it for my business, I have some specific wants and needs and am hoping to work with someone who knows what they are doing, someone who would be willing to show and not just do. Anyone?
Hi, We’re looking to write our own program that integrates with both AirTable API and Drip’s API as well as Twilio API. We want to accomplish two things: We are looking for ways of managing our SMS triggers queue on Twilio as well as updating a log file for each action. We want to have this process done without Zaps, thus bypassing the need for tasks on Zapier. We want to be able to update a table with our leads list and all their profile information coming from DRIP automatically every time a new lead comes in. We are also looking to have our KPI dashboards in AirTable to be automatically updating. We want to be able to paste data in AirTable with automations that will be able to sort this data on a dashboard that will be convenient to read (simplified data sheet). Please advise. Thank you.
Hey there, I’m trying to integrate Airtable with my ChatBot Product. In that, we are trying to render data using Airtable tables. but here we need to provide an interface to the end-users to select the base and tables they are targetting the get the data. Based on the documentation, I found that to get the list of bases and tables we need to get the Airtable Metadata API. I have also requrested for the same but didn’t get any feedback. Do I need to provide any more details? Please suggest and help me in that case.
Looking for help with Airtable reorganization for efficiency and automation for my interior design firm: project tracking and management project budget management project product tracking organizing tasks by job, by employee with deadline notifications (similar to Trello) creating project schedules/deadlines (with the possible option of being able to communicate progress with clients) contacts organization and possible integration with Mailchimp, etc. We’re currently using it as a series of glorified spreadsheets and know we’re not even close to tapping into the full capabilities - we just don’t have the bandwidth to set it up properly I would prefer an Austin-based consultant but am open to remote if it makes sense.
Best practices help.
Hi there — I run a media company and we sell ads across our channels. We only have a limited number of ad slots on each channel, and I’d like to use Airtable to build a tool for people to book advertisements on our channels — and ideally to pay and submit content as well. We currently use Airtable for this, but it requires a member of our team accepting payments, sending a form/survey, and managing the process. I’d like the entire experience to be automated. Here’s what the workflow would look like: Clients can view an Airtable form to book a particular slot. (There might be 1-2 slots available per week per channel – and once someone books it, it should disappear) That person is then sent somewhere to pay, ideally integrated with Airtable. (This would be the stage where the booking slot disappears so nobody else can book it - after the payment is made) Then they’re given access to an Airtable form for submitting their ad details. (Links, body copy, images, etc) (If they don’t submit b
We have built a CMS system for our content and marketing initiatives and require a few automations/formulas to make the system more user-friendly for us. I’ve listed these in order of priority: #1: SORT DATE On the content side, we have a number of deadlines to meet, based on the Status (phase of the project). At present, the table default is to sort based on Publish Date. REQUEST: We’d like automations/formulas written that would alter the sort based on the Status (and the corresponding due date). For example: Status is changed from 1st Draft to Z: Feedback of 1st Draft → The sort order would then be based on the deadline assigned to Z: Feedback of 1st Draft and not the deadline for 1st Draft. AIM: To be able to view all tasks for all content pieces based on due dates (not just based on status or assigned to or publish date). #2: ADD AUTOMATIONS We just need someone proficient to go in and add the automations as per the “formula” → When Assigned To changes to XXX, notify XXX in Slack
I recently began working as a director of a very busy bakery. We need a solution that can: manage and track inventory of print collateral (packaging, labels) link products to their related packaging requirements (including: packaging, labels/branding, digital design files, manufacturer, and their related costs) recipes, allergen declarations, cost of goods and which department they fall under (cafe, wholesale, catering, national shipping) integrate and communicate with our website/e-comm platforms to track sales and * trigger when it’s time to order more of specific packaging integrate and communicate with our recipe/FDA nutrition label database for our wholesale business right now everything is done on the fly with a variety of systems that aren’t communicating or integrated. I don’t have the time to build something and don’t have the experience to know if a template already exists that could meet our needs.
We’re a DEI nonprofit that would like to build a speakers’ bureau website that auto-populates/displays from an AirTable. We’d like *speakers to be able to update their information using a form that populates AirTable *to be able to “approve” the updated information before it gets displayed on the website *to have a form for speakers we invite and one for speakers who are interested in being included. *to be able to track how many times a speaker is contacted from our website. It looks like Mini Extensions can do a lot of what we want – we need someone to build it for us. Thanks for any help!
We are looking to use Airtable to build data tables for our customers. What we really want to do is create a front-end website/portal where customers can then login to see their database in a clean and user friendly UI. They could make changes, updates, additions, deletes. All woudl be written back to their Airtable table. We would do most of the implementation and setup for them, but then connect it so once we “go live” with them, they could login and then begin to self-manage. The key is that we really want the front end to be clean, functional, and very user-friendly. Looking for some ideas on the best and most efficient ways to accomplish this.
Wondering if this is possible, its a kind of internal market where people see what is available to buy, at what prices and transfer to each other. Requirements: Client portal which sources data from different sources. Which also shows the price, who has which product, maybe a graph with some info. Should be the main dashboard, where people can offer, buy and sell. Every person needs there own access and needs to see how many products they have. Marketplace for transferable products with payment gateway and contract with a signature from both sides. So when someone agrees to buy a product, they can click through the system, both sides sign a contract, money is transferred and then ownership is changed.
With today’s outage, I became duly aware how much I rely on Airtable. I need to hire someone to help create a true backup export of all fields/records into a FM file or similar.
Hello, We need to transfer our database from Salesforce to Airtable. We have about 3,700 contacts, with 75 data fields per contact. Are there any experts who can provide assistance with this project?
Hi there! We’ve run into some roadblocks using airtable’s csv import block, and since we don’t have anyone well-versed in javascript on our teamvwe’ve come here looking for someone interested in this one-time project. We need to regularly import csv’s and have this app update existing records and create new records. All records have a unique identifier field (“RefID”), however it’s a calculated field (concatenation of a text field and the record ID). This is where the csv import block wouldn’t work, and we’re hoping this is something that can be “coded around” rather than simply being impossible! CSV’s to be imported will either have a “RefID” value matching an existing one or no value at all. If they match, then certain specific fields in the existing record should be updated with values from the csv (not fields that would impact the RefID value), and if there is no match a new record should be created. Ideally this would work with short and long text, single select, numerical, and li
When a new client signs with us, a zap fires that creates the tasks for the project in a project tracking base in Airtable. Here’s an example of one project for one client: Then, as the engagement unfolds and resources are assigned to steps in the engagement, the tasks are checked-off. Right now, every Monday morning we forward clients the last email that we sent them with something like “checking-in on this…”. This is manual and we want to automate it. Here is what we would like: At Project Instantiation. When a new project is created, we’d like a Google Sheet to be created for the Client ID and emailed to to the client. Our services are fully productized, so there are only 5 project types with set tasks for each. The tasks in projects don’t change. If they buy engagement type X, it always includes the same tasks no matter who the client is. Weekly Updates. Would like to sync our current project tracking base with each client’s Google Sheet (with Client ID being the lookup value)
