Hello, I need help building a tool that does several things. I have an interior design business and I want to be able to input projected hours for each employee, by project. I want to be able to then see their bandwidth several months out. Secondly, I want to input these hourly projections by project, and create gaant charts by project, so I can track progress of each project, but hopefully all together in one place. Ideally, there is a place I can input project information, including which employees are on what project and about how many hours we think will be needed by project phase. Then I would love to be able to see this information in different views- calendar, by employee, and by project. The goal being that I can better plan for staffing needs, see when we will be busier and less busy, so that we can take on more or less work as we see fit.

Our Google Sheet has more than 400 columns and 600 rows, so you will need to know your way around prepping, working with and organizing large amounts of data. We are currently testing whether Airtable is a viable option for our business and have one issue that stops us moving forward with it. We are looking to find out how much it would cost to be able to have custom visibility in a table. When looking on the app on a phone we would require certain entries to hide columns depending on the input. The current hiding option doesn’t work as some entries within the same table may need that column visible. To confirm we are not currently using airtable, more looking at whether the development needed to make it work would be possible for our budget.

I need help. More time is spent on data entry, back-logging, and verifying work than my actual responsibilities. I’ve spent the last 3 months building a portal, through another company only to find out, it’s not as custom as promised and the project management is just a fancy to do list. $4,000 later and I’m back to square one. To whom it may concern, I run a small (one-man) catering business with dozens of menu items. I need a way of capturing my customers’ orders into a table, in such a way that I can use Airtable’s blocks feature to generate a job sheet for each particular order, detailing all the foods a given customer has ordered. The tricky bit comes as I need the job sheet to not only tell me the foods the customer has ordered, but to also tell me the ingredients and quantities I require to make a the various items on the job sheet. This get very tricky in Airtable as a number of our products are composite items – meaning something that we make ourselves from a bunch of other products. For example, if my customer has ordered 100 portions of Greek salad, I need to record that on the job sheet, and then I need the job sheet to spit out the ingredients for me, which in the case of 100 portions of Greek salad would be: Lettuce Heads x 3.33 Greek Feta 180G x 6.67 Kalamato Olives 250G x 3.33 Cherry Tomatoes

We have switched to Airtable as our Super ATS system and love everything about it with the one exception that we cannot import resume information (other than in a CSV file which is terribly impractical for us) to populate a record (new or update). Hi, We’re a small company that would like to implement the following flow via zapier + airtable: customer sends us a question via email > tag that the person asked a question in airtable along w/ question. Note this customer already exists as a record in airtable. send question to a number of individuals outside of our org to respond > tag in airtable who’ve sent the question to. add responses to airtable, and attribute who answer it. send rating / follow up email to customer who sent question, and add rating to the answerer in airtable. Hello all, We are an engineering & manufacturing facility in the UK, we have an access database that works perfectly for our day to day, BUT… we need to implement some way of tracking staff and job hours, currently done the old fashioned way using paper job cards. I have played with airtable and we all like it ALLOT, love the different views which gives us up to date information on each job. Where we are struggling is tracking man hours. For Example: We are making 6 item 1’s 3 different men will work on that item, all men will have a “tablet” with a simplified view. They will all “clock on” and off that job maybe many times in a week We need to know exactly how many hours in total spent on that job Also, how many hours each man has been booked to a job each day There are many other things we would like to track which can be discussed Looking to discuss in more detail all our requirements and costings and timelines Kind Regards Steve
