Hi All Looking at Airtable I’ve fast learned this is the tool for us however I also realised to get everything out of it that I need/want will require a lot of my time or a lot less of an experts time. As such I am looking for assistance in working with our base to help with a Sourcing and manufacturing process that processes orders as well as inventory management and some cool reporting. I have sent a few days getting the skeleton together but have a lot of things that need help with - it may need a complete overhaul. Essentially looking for somebody to work with me over a long period to fine tune and get the most out of Airtable fitting in with our processes. Hello, I need an AirTable consultant to help me create a solution (on AirTable) that enables my data partners to upload and publish their data for distribution on my platform (outside AirTable). Requirements: Partner can upload new or overwrite data. Partner data updates are validated in real-time against my data model. Partner can manage a mapping to data model separately so they don’t have to change their source spreadsheet prior to upload. AirTable automatically links each entity to a matching entity in my lookup table. AirTable highlights unlinked rows in the partner data with a warning (not error) Partners can publish data updates. AirTable should automatically manage snapshots. AirTable triggers web hook that automatically received data updates or triggers automatic download data using the AirTable API. Let me first say, I know this is quite simple for many people AND there is documentation explaining how to do what I am trying to achieve… I still can’t do it. Its like me writing ‘help documentation’ on how to shoot a 3 point shot with Lebron in your face :slightly_smiling_face: Use case: Airtable is my database for my company (Restoration company) Also using it as a CRM Need(s) Building formulas with nested conditions for 2 use cases Vehicle maintenance -We enter mileage at a fuel stop 100,000 -Next stop is 100,500 -Then 101,00 and so on… I would like to add the incremental difference up 5k…at which point the threshold would be crossed and then a record can populate in a new view… this would trigger “oil change”. I can build zaps from there to my other platforms. CRM I want to track the #of days in between phone calls to target clients. so March 1 is a call.

I just found Airtable and I think it could probably really help us. We own and manage apartment communities and have additional locations where we’re doing development, retail or other activities. We currently track all of our location information (IS needs) like address, WAN Subnet, ISP circuits and so on. We have several ugly Excel Spreadsheets keeping track of all of this plus static IP addresses for multiple internet circuits across 50 or so locations. I’d like some help develop a working structure to replace this and enhance our ability to quickly access information. Thanks.

I just don’t have the time to figure this thing out. I’ve already spent way more time than I should have and I just can’t get it to work, and I’m done. I need something that will list all my customers, their orders, and the items they order. I want to click on a customer and see what items they have ordered. I want to click on items and see who has ordered them. I also want to automatically add records based on an email receipt I receive of their order. I want a form that customers fill out that will tell me things like size, favorite style, color, print, etc. And it would be easy to see everyone that likes the color purple and is a size small, or looking for a camo print. And an “Action Item” - if I need to remember to send a customer something, or that a customer is paying me on Tuesday for the hamburger bought today. Is it possible to pass variables from a webpage of mine to my base view it so that airtable is “prefiltered” for the user according to how they on the webpage? I imagine something like a drop down menu on the website where people can filter and search for specific rows in the airtable view that they get sent to. Thanks!

We are a research firm. We need help creating research project management work flow. Need to track realtime flow, but also to archive specific data (auto populate) in existing excel and/or Access databases. Have used Excel and Access databases to manually manage but think Airtable could simplify and decrease duplicative data entry.

Hi there I’m looking for someone to assist me in the best ways to set up our base. I have started doing so, but before I get too far into it I need to make sure the way I’m doing it is correct for our needs. Also, some help in achieving the situation described below: I have created this summary table, and would like each cell to pull in the total (number) based on the other tables. This is for a magazine, the editions are listed along the top. We have two main sections in the publication (feature and non feature), with content and ads in each section. I would like to create a dynamic tally that shows the projected number of pages in each upcoming edition, based on the data in the other tables (content and advertisers). Each line in content table has dropdown fields for edition (21 - W18, 22 - Sp18 and so on), and section (feature or non feature). We are setting up AirTable to help track and approve Invoices on behalf of our clients. We are looking for help to build some checks into AirTable (or via Zapier or other) to make sure the invoice fits into the clients budget and that the client has approved the invoice before we export it to Xero. We will also need to get the client’s approval of the invoice and plan to use SMS for this. We have some of the database already built and some connections working using Zapier. We’re looking for someone familiar with AirTable and api’s. Some basic programming experience is essential. I am currently setting up a job production system to have orders from our accounting system flow into Airtable and manage our manufacturing jobs. 70% of our jobs are pretty straight forward and have the same parts for each job and Airtable is looking like an EXCELLENT tool to assist us in what we do. About 30% of our jobs are much more complicating and have kitted parts, with assemblies inside of job methods which throws off my simplistic vision for this system and I’d like to stick to the vision as close as possible. Hi All, I wonder if you might be able to please help me, I am trying to create a formula to sum amounts based on the status of a persons deal (think sales pipeline for lines of business). I’m trying to Sum a series of If statements (I think!) As you can see from this example, there are 3 types of incomes, and each person/customer might be Open or Closed under each line of business. So what I am trying to do is Sum all income types If the status is Open (I.e. to create a Total amount for Open deals). In this example Person 1 is only income type A and Open, so the desired outcome is to produce a $1,000 result. Person 2 has income in 2 lines of business, but 1 is closed, so I want it to only sum the Open one, again $1,000. But person 3 has income from lines of business A and C, and both are Open, so I want it to have a $2,000 sum. I have t
