What is the proposed idea/solution?Identify which area the columns belong to through colors.How does is solve the user problems?It allows identifying groups of columns belonging to different teams, departments or stages of a process.How was this validated?By right clicking on a column, in the edition, there will be a colored icon. There, you could choose the color of the column (using the same shape and colors used in Single Select.When selecting the color, it will display a subtle, minimalist and thin line of color above the column name. My company is compliant with certain certifications and requires our team to use other platforms for certain document storage. It would be phenomenal to add pinned links / notes to tables if someone so choose, then a person can more quickly get the intention behind a table, or quickly redirect to a link of their choice 

Enable a formula on a record level (like gsheet). My use case for this would be to insert templates or build template tables for project management on events we do over and over again. For example, if we plan a webinar, we know which tasks need to get done in what order and how many days apart. We have a formula for how many days before or after the live webinar date each task needs to be done. Since it's not always the same number of days for each record I can't use a formula in the current set up.

Asking users to structure their base in a way that is conducive to Airtable's best practices falls short (requires workarounds like automations) when they would like a single form to contain EVERYTHING they need to capture during the intake process.Allowing users to ask the questions they need and manage their data properly without hacky solutions leads to a better user experience and understanding of how to get the most out of Airtable.What is the proposed idea/solution?Improve the form view to support creating new linked records and accessing linked record fields as questions on the form. Airtable's power really shines when structuring a base in a relational way. In my experience working with many new Airtable users, this is not always immediately obvious and takes education (especially for users coming from Excel). As a business user, I would like to select a record from a list and show as list of related records on the same screen so that I can see important details without having to navigate to the linked table. While Airtable currently shows the primary field for the linked data in a column, I would like to see a tabular view of all the data for the linked records. Master-detail views are common in business systems (and the default view for products like SalesForce), and this feature would allow Airtable to displace our separate products for CRM, database management, etc. Displaying records from selected linked tables for a single item (e.g., in the record detail form) would also be a satisfactory solution. This is similar to this request (Scrol through clients and show details in separate window) but more general purpose.

I miss the possibility to sort entries by dates without putting the entries without dates first. It is not logical for tasks use for example. Similar feature would be the ability to group by a field separating in two groups : entries with this field empty and entries with this field not empty. For example, entries without dates and entries with dates.

When working on tickets you can not copy/paste photos into the comments or description. This makes closing tickets take much longer because you have to save every file locally and upload. This loses context of why the photo was uploaded, etc. Many other PM programs allow copy/paste (Asana to name one) and having this functionality would make air table much better.

It would be great if you could paste an image into a cell and either a thumbnail of the image appears OR a URL to the image is created and entered in the cell. If I know a document will require screenshots, I create a google doc instead of using Airtable because it’s just so much easier to use cmd+ctl+shift+4 to generate a screen grab and then paste the image.

Hi - We’re looking to pull a percentage of a task complete and reflected that % as a progress bar in a cell for a single record. We want the progress bar to be continuous (up to an integer) as the % of the task completed is updated… I.e. (just one of many use cases) if we have a record that is counting # of forms submitted for a given record, and the total number is noted in the record, the percentage of completed forms with respect to the completed record is reflected in an updating graphic progress bar. The progress bar Airtable feature should update from as the percentage cell on the record self-updates upon completion of a given trigger elsewhere in the Airtable ecosystem. Many thanks!

What is the proposed idea/solution?Being able to filter by current user in the main database (like you can in interfaces) would save me having to create custom views for our 15 staff members for 6 different tables (90 views).AirTable obviously has the infrastructure to do this since they already do it in interfaces. Is it possible to be able to have selectable charts in an Interface dashboard similar to those in AT Dashboard apps? It would be very useful to be able to select an objects on a chart (bar or pie or…) and have it either pop the record/s of that object or have it filter the view without having to use separate filters.sd

Page Designer allows for static text and images, but the images have to be accessed via a URL. We have images that we can’t locate at a public URL, but would still like to include them on a printable page. As such, we’d love to see the ability to upload images to Page Designer.

Hi Airtable,We're transitioning more and more processes from Excel to Airtable and we're running into some usability issues. For one, we're working with large datasets and my team is complaining about the low amount of data visible in Airtable views.A setting for Extra Short row height (or manual input) would make these large datasets much clearer.A setting for overall reduced padding would be another great addition.We currently zoom out the entire page, but this reduces readability of the text.

Hi Airtable Team,First off, I'm really enjoying the new Personal Access Tokens feature -- it makes it *much* easier to cross-check which external Make.com scenario is responsible for record/field level changes via the Record History view.  Great job!Secondly, when juggling over 150+ Make.com scenarios that touch Airtable, it becomes non-trivial to manually create a new, unique Personal Access Token for each separate Make.com scenario.  Trust me, I *want* to do this because the audit logs are much *cleaner*, but I wish it was less *time consuming*.Therefore, I'm looking for Airtable to provide an API that allows enterprise *administrators* to create new personal access tokens *at scale*.  That would solve a ton of friction for our engineering teams on their journey to migrate to Personal Access Tokens.Happy to spell out this use-case further; thanks for your time.

I want to use the interface as a place to invite my clients to collaborate with me, right now the level of personalisation is ok but needs more. Let me show you an example to explain how amazing the improvement would be by allowing a banner image on top of the interface Look how nice the interface looks by adding just a header image :D!!! I really need this feature, willing to use it soon with my clients 🙂 there are others, such as, allowing more colours (or a personalised palette) within the buttons and number boxes. That would be awesome to make everything match to my branding colours.Also, at some point, if you allow to charge subscription to our clients to have access to the system on a monthly basis that would be AMAZING! that way I can rest in peace as I know all my clients will use the system and pay on a regular basis for it :)!

Statistical charting:AIRTABLE currently allows users to create basic charts, such as bar charts, line charts, and pie charts, but they lack the statistical details that would make them more useful for data analysis. What is the proposed idea/solution?It would be great to have more design options for fields in interfaces. Some examples:Center text within a text boxCenter elements across the whole pageChange the thickness and color of dividersAdd a spacer option (this would be solved by the above by just doing a white line and increasing thickness)Center the number and text within a number elementThe first 2 above have been giving me the most headaches. Having to add blank text boxes of varying length and adding spaces inside text boxes just to center the text or other elements on the page seems excessive.
