Hi Folks, Is there a nifty way to bulk update records with new data? I have all the data I want to add in a spreadsheet and the spreadsheet has a column with the record id the new data should go into. If it matters the cell that needs updating is a multi-select one, but currently its blank (in the future I’ll need to add data to the cell without overwriting existing data). Thanks!

Our fiscal year is ending, and I’d like to hide bases I won’t be working in, but still have access to them if necessary. Any ideas?

Hi! I am planning to take a 4-5 month break off work. So I moved my PRO plan workspace to free plan. It had 5 bases, containing 20,000-30,000 records each. As the free plan only allows 1,200 records, my workspace is now . The bases the workspace had were untouched since a few months - but I cannot delete them. I’ll find myself some time this week, to export each view of every base so I don’t lose data. My only concern is do I have a week/or two before my base is unaccessable to me? Kindly guide me. Hi everyone, I have a table with created date column and some data, as soon as new record is created I have created a automation script the extracts the newly created record by sorting this column in descending order and getting the getting the first record by using query.records[0](which is the last record created, because it is in descending order). My question is, is there any way other than this to extract the latest record created? I also have a column that is auto increment id, I was thinking of extracting the highest value from this column as the latest record, but could not find how to find max value of column by writing in automation script. Thank you

Hi, I have embedded tables into a Carrd site, the site is taking ages to initially load from the embedded tables, is there anyway that I can increase loading speed of the embeds? Hi all, I need to update an Airtable array field via Integromat. In Airtable I have multi select field with Project 1 Project 2 The scenario update all the people with “Project 1” and there are 3 cases: If the person in not in “Project 1” nor in “Project 2”, the Array is empty and I have to add “Project 1” If the person in already in Project 1 the Array contains “Project 1” and I can jump If the person is in Project 2 the Array contains “Project 2” and I have to add the “Project 1”. Hello so I have a button that triggers this script. The script is to create a unique child record based on the attachments I add to it. For example, if I add image1 and image 2 into the parent record, then I click the button to run the script and the it will create 2 child records named image1 and image 2. So I have the following script, and it works, but its actually getting all of the records from the view. But I only need it from a single record from where I clicked the button, so I understand I need to pass the record to the script. Do any GB users have experience of Integrating with the PAF or other postal address solutions? As part of the local authorities effort to cut greenhouse gasses, we are running an Airtable based project to help home owners retrofit their properties with insulation etc. To ensure accurate postal addresses are entered I would like to integrate the sort of solution where you first enter postcode then select house number/name. I am not sure where to start - has anyone done this? Margaret

Hi! Is there a way to set up records, so that external viewers of a view would be able to choose and pick a record among others to share on SoMe? It is already possible to automate SoMe-posting in Airtable, so maybe there is a way to do this too? Regards, Søren

Good morning all :sunrise: I’m wondering if there’s any method to filter a MarkDown Long Text field that contains checked and unchecked tick boxes? Interestingly enough, I can write regex formulas columns that return various values - but I’m unable to run a filter directly on the Long Text Markdown field. Filter returns empty; As a workaround I’ve employed the below formula - but would be far better if we could simply filter for this condition directly without the need for funky-formula. Hi All I have downloaded airtable and it looks great, I have used an existing template, and now created some individual Gantt views I wish to share with specific team members. All that has gone well except that they cannot see the gantt table because of the following error message “Start date field is hidden or invalid” If I select the option “share all fields in expanded records” then this error goes away, BUT unfortunately this then means they are not seeing only the targeting records relvant to them as I have selected but instead all the grouped records become expanded making their gantt view huge and also then not matching the gantt view as I see it. In addition the expanded records are listed in reverse alphabetical order which also doesnt match the Gantt as I have created it in my Base How can I get around this? cheers Philip

Hi, I have two tables in my database: Food Items (contains a number of food items with various attributes such as price, food type, etc.) Shops (contains a list of shops with attributes such as address, post code) These would have a many to many relationship, in that each food item could be in many shops and each shops could contain many food items. I would like to make a third table which automatically contains all possible combinations of the two tables, and which automatically updates whenever a new record is added to either of the first two tables. Then I intend to add some other attributes and set up a filter so that I could query it. I can not work out how to do this. Hi all! I just started doing taxes as a small business and I figured I’d make an airtable chart to keep track of all the different tax rates in different counties. However, what I’m running into is this: When I go to formatting I get the response: Your result type is not a number or a date. Formatting options are currently only available if your result type is a number or a date. Here is my formula: IF( SEARCH("Online", {Location}), "0%", IF( SEARCH("Wake", {Location}), "2%", IF( SEARCH("Durham", {Location}), "2.25%" ) ) ) I’ve tried both with and without the % symbol. To be fair, the return in that column works fine but I can’t then make a later formula using those values because it doesn’t recognize them as numbers. Here’s a screenshot of the table

Has anyone successfully set up the app “Address Cleanser by LOB”, from lob.com? I cannot get past the setup stage. When I submit the last of my setup details (page 2 of 2) I get the message “Sorry, an error occurred”. It recommends reloading the app, which I’ve done several times, then contacting Lob support. I thought I’d try the community first. Also, I’m using a test environment secret API key from Lob. Also tried the live environment secret API key but that requires a credit card (so I didn’t actually try it). Also tried the test environment publishable API key but it says a publishable API key cannot be used to authenticate with this end point (I’m in Australia – the end point at the end of the world!).

I use a service that exports a list of movies. Whenever there are multiple countries or directors it puts them into a new row below the main record. Is there any way to combine these additional rows of entries automatically so they all go into the same row as the movie title? Here’s the airtable in question: Airtable

I have a worksheet for each coaching session I have across various clients. I also have a column with a link to notes for each session. At the end of the month I would like to provide an email of “what we did this month”. I would love to have some of the data from the worksheet in a view I could share without fear that they see other people’s work. I know how to create views to filter and sort but there is no easy “cut/paste” way to put this in an email. And the sharing of the view would show everyone’s work. Any help would be appreciated.

I would appreciate an option of when viewing in month calendar view that the day could list all records for that day without rolling them up to the default number of records viewable to 4. It would simply stretch the day on the calendar to include all records.

I’ve embedded an airtable form in a page built with Shopify. I wanted to prefill the form using the URL parameter, but I don’t know how to do it. Hello, I used miniextensions to take screenshots from an URL page. I set up the request but the screenshot doesn’t match exactly to the url linked. When I click on the URL, the page displayed is not exactly the same as the screenshot. I don’t know why ?

Hello, Any idea how I would transform monthly totals into a cumulative total over time?
