:wave: Hey there! I have a Jotform that is populating an Airtable base via the integration in Jotforms App Directiory. Specifically this one But there are two fields that are not loading properly: Field 1: Jotform Field: Yes/No question. I am assuming it evaluated as a boolean expression - aka a checkbox. Airtable Field: Trying to map the yes/no question onto a checkbox I believe this is the right route because I have another Yes/No question that I mapped on to a boolean checkbox and its working just fine! I have a google sheet filed in my root google drive. I simply want to connect to this with Airtable and synch. I am using the same log on credentials for Airtable and Google Drive. The google sheet is publically shared. I can select it to import from the ‘Quick Import’ menu and the import works fine. But when I select the same file (any file) through the ‘Synch data from’ menu I see the files but they are greyed out and I cannot connect to any. I have tried through 3 different sets of Google Credentials and get the same result. What am I missing? See the images.

Hi all, I have the last modified showing up as “Unknown” in a synced table and not sure what is causing this. Is this possibly the record coming from the other base not showing the creator, until someone updates possibly? Cheers

I have a field that is in the first position and I wish to move it so it is in the 5th position from the left. Airtable is not letting move it as it may be a key. Is it possible to do this?

Hi Guys! I have a record in airtable with 1 image and another record with 3 images: I have a Zap(Zapier) that allows me to send a 1 unique image to a Basecamp To-Do as follows (for example to the field 2): And I get the desired result. But, in the case of the field 2, when I have several images, I can’t visualize them. So I want to know how I should modify the HTML code that I am using in the Description to be able to display the images correctly when there are several. Anyone know any way to do this? Thank you!

Hi Airtable community! I’m new here and am building out a budget table for work. I’m trying to create an automation that updates an entry to say a certain month in a field when the date in the field next to it is within that month. For example, if money was spent on a “photographer” on 1/15/22, we will enter the exact date in one field (with a date field type) and then I want the field next to it to automatically change to “January” (with a multiple select field type). Can someone help me figure out how to automate this?

Hello there, I’m looking for a bit of feedback on sorting rows / row order in timeline view. Right now my workaround for ensuring that I have the proper sorting is to append numbering to the ‘name’ data as shown in the attached picture. The data is grouped by name. So far, this works OK as it allows me to manually sort so that the swimlanes with data extending furthest forward in time are towards the bottom of the view. If there’s a better way to do this, I’d be glad to hear it. I did experiment with splitting out the ‘ranking’ data into its own column and grouping by this column, which does provide a similar view, except with a bit more white space on screen due to the grouping. Hi, I’ve got a bit of a weird one that I am not entirely sure if it’s an issue of my database design or can be solved another way. I have two bases for a webstore, one which holds high level information (items for sale, vendors, master order records) and the other base has individual records for each unique item in each master order record. Excuse the awful drawing and writing, but the below diagram illustrates how I’ve structured things so far. Black lines with two arrows show linked fields. One arrow shows synced tables, and the blue line shows what I want to achieve. The end result I am aiming for is to be able to report on sales associated with each vendor (i.e. Vendor A has sold $500 of items this month). I’m experiencing a strange issue when I use a date in a formula (yes, I’m using timezones). If I include the time field in the date, then it displays correctly in the formula, but if I do not include time, then the formula displays the date minus 1. I do not want time because this is an invoice date. Halp.

The Vega-Lite app never gets past “Loading…” - no JSON. Any idea how to get this app operational? per the readme, I suppose I can try creating a new app with the SDK per the Vega-Lite github readme, but this seem rather obtuse :face_with_diagonal_mouth: Anyone know what’s wrong with the app, how to resolve or troubleshoot? I am relatively new to Airtable, former Filemaker user. I am trying to figure out how to replicate something I could easily do in Filemaker. I have a base. Each record is a school volunteer who answered a volunteer survey in Google Forms, which I then imported into Airtable. In it I asked them a number of checkboxable questions: What times would you be available to volunteer? Which jobs would you be interested in? Which committees would you like to join? Etc. I want to create a view where I can see an “index card” for each user, and it shows me what times they are available and what they are interested in. In Filemaker, I’d just create a new view, change that field to checkboxes, and be done. I don’t see an easy way to do this in AirTable, but there must be. What am I missing?

Is there a way to automatically reduce or limit the size of images that users upload to Airtable?

I am trying to open an app in the pc using the url generated from automation, which is working fine, but need to copy a field from the table before i paste this copied content into the opened app to print a label. I am not able to automatically copy a cell and keep in memory neither using functions nor automation. Any suggestions are highly welcome! Thanks in advance.

When you sync a table that has a Linked Record. It comes out as a CSV on the synced table. Is it possible to create an automation update a linked record with the CSV information that’s linked.

I have the Airtable Pro Plan and have two timeline views in my base that I can access on my desktop, however when I try to view my timelines in the Airtable app on my iPad a notification pops up that says that the view cannot be displayed in the iOS app yet. Is it possible to view it somehow? Thank you.

Hi all. I am new to Airtable. I would like to create tasks list for my team members. Each team member can only create, edit and delete ONLY their own tasks list, and there will be a master list of all tasks list. What is the best way to approach this? Because from my understanding I can only create permission for Workspace and Base. How about permission for certain tables? Thinking of to combine two tables (each table one team member’s tasks list).

I am trying to set up a reminder to do something on the first day of the second quarter after an event. So, for example, said event happens on February 6 (or January 27, or March 30, etc.), the reminder triggers on July 1. Likewise, if said event happens on October 20, the reminder triggers on April 1. I’m familiar with switch statements, but there has to be an easier way than writing out a switch for every day in a year (plus I also need to repeat the reminder for the third and fourth quarters, so that would be 3 times!) I was wondering if it is possible to export a specific view from a tab in Airtable as CSV directly from the scripting block. I’m a little bit rusty with JS and have been trying to import stuff and I learnt that AirTable doesn’t allow any imports. Could anyone give me some directions on how to transform a view into CSV and authenticate unto my S3 Bucket? I’ve seen multiple threads related to this, but was wondering if there were a modern solution.
