Hello folks, I’ve shared a Social Content Calendar form with my clients. They answered and submitted the form, but I don’t see any answer ! I’ve tried to answer myself the form and I don’t receive the answer anyway ! What could I do to solve this technical problem ? Regards, Deize

We have a funding database that we update regularly for our charity members. On our website is an embedded gallery view that shows all the current opportunities, which incluldes links to the funders external websites - as shown here: Find funding | Community Southwark For our monitoring and record keeping I’d like to know how many users take action to visit those funders - is there any way of tracking this using airtable, or should I be looking at something like bit.ly for individual link tracking? I use Airtable for a big list of names with addresses. Every day a new name has a red dot for the API, making it invisible on the map visualization. The one thing I have noticed is that every time one of my colleagues use the setting tool to adjust for just a group of people, somehow it changes or actualizes the API for all the names in the list resulting in some of them showing error. I am not sure this is the condition for this error. Is someone else having trouble with that map visualization?

I’m an Airtable (though not spreadsheet/database) newbie and I’m considering the Pro package because the timeline view is essential for my project management. Is it possible to synch/export date ranges in the timeline, (e.g. Project A works from Jan 1 to Jan 15), to an external calendar (google of iCal), so that the same dates are blocked there as well? Or is there another way to do this on AirTable? I want to avoid entering project dates twice. Thank you.

Hi Airtable community, Currently I’m trying to have productions ordered by their start date and then have each row be ordered by just the production, so that the different stages of that production, continues across that one row. Below is a screen shot of what I have at current, where each stage of the production is placed on a different month, rather then all coming under the same production. We’ve been using Airtable for a couple of years now and our system has grown from a simple back-end to the monster she is today. Now as we scale up I need to limit access to tables, with Airtable Syned Bases I can do this. But I have a very complex system of tables all linked to each other set-up and am unsure how to move tables out (so users cannot edit them anymore) but keep all the initial linked formulas, etc. Does this make sense? Is this possible at all?

Hi all, has anyone successfully integrated Airtable with an information dashboard application like Geckoboard or Databox? My team dreams of a solution like Panic’s (now discontinued) Status Board, running on top of Airtable data, for display on a 4K TV, likely driven by a Mac mini. Similarly, what are come recommended alternatives to Geckoboard and Databox, should I have to build the integration myself? Thank you!!! A.

Hi all! Apologies if this isn’t the correct place for this question! I’d like to have a field that shows all the countries where we have the rights to use a piece of content, but I don’t want to have to type, or select 50-190 countries for each piece of content. I’d like to be able to type or select “Europe” and then have all 40 countries populate that field, or another field (eg Europe can live a regions field and all the countries can be in countries field - I don’t care! What ever is easiest?!). Can I use blocks to accomplish this? Thanks in advance for any help.

Just seeing if anyone knows why this field is coming in with all these wierd letters instead of the car models? Suppose to be Chevy, Ford, etc… and getting these weird letters. I need to use this filed further down in my integromat scenario. Thanks,

What can I do if the field values of the first name are not shown on the email content on the Gmail automation?

I use a single-line text field to store Dropbox paths of certain files. When clicking on the file’s URL, I’m taken to Dropbox viewer whereas I would prefer to be sent directly to my file in the Finder (I’m on Mac but I guess the problem is the same on PCs). On Wrike, one of Airtable’s competitors, that feature is standard. Am I missing something ? Thank you for your help.

I have a date field that imports like this: 2021-09-13 00:00 I need to extract the year and month and day from there … in different columns. Is there an automation for this?

I am trying to add a formula that if the status is “Available” and “Becoming Available” in “General Listing Calculation” tab it will show the price from “Price (from Room Details)”. Not sure how to start. I guess it will be like this IF({General Listing Calculation}= “Available”, {Price (from Room Details)}) but not sure how to add “Becoming Available” in the formula

I set up a customers table with an email address and job title field (blank). Have another table with email address and job title field, linked the tables and trying to look up the job title in table to and populate table one and it only works if I click into the field and search and manually do this. I’m sure there is a better way. Thanks!

Hello! I’m working with a client that currently uses an Airtable Form to collect data from applicants to a job posting. All fields are required in the form. We are receiving form submissions that have the email field or other fields completely empty. What is causing this? Does this happen when forms are refreshed or a tab is closed in a browser? I’m really not sure. I’m thinking it may be best for the client to use a third-party form, but I’m perplexed by this issue of empty required fields. Thanks for your help!

I have a field that is an entry field and that is part of a rather complicated page design, where I need to be able to trim away and spaces at the end of an entry as sometimes the user ads a whitespace I guess out of habit. Is this possible? I’ve been playing around with the TRIM() and SUBSTITUTE(), but I have a hard time finding a solution that’ll apply just to the end of the entry? I’ve tried this, but it dosen’t get rid of the white space at the end IF(RIGHT({Alcantara},1)=" ", LEFT({Alcantara}, FIND(' ', {Alcantara}, LEN({Alcantara})-1), {Alcantara} )

This is my first post here. I’ve been getting up to speed on AirTable the last several days and finding there’s much to like about AirTable. However, while it appears to nicely cover certain basic use cases, I’m not seeing how it covers many common use cases that come standard with some database apps such as FileMaker. With AirTable I see a form designer, page designer and now interface designer all in addition to configurable views but they all fall short with many common use cases. One example use case would be to submit or edit multiple rows (including the ability to sort, select and edit related records) all related to a single record. This is a no-brainer in FileMaker via their portal widget to related records. I am aware of AirTable extended functionality which may provide some aspects of this but only in a view only, browse only mode. Before I invest additional time on this I need to know if there’s something I’m missing which allows one to create the following type of implement

In Airtable’s T&Cs it says they can access our information at any time for security reasons, or something of that sort, meaning the data in the Airtable is not actually secured. Is there an encrypted and private way that information can be stored on Airtable, where there is a guarantee, barring a court order, that Airtable cannot view my company’s stored information?

Hi Guys, im quite new to airtable and i am so far loving it With my business i make memorial jewellery and once an order comes in it goes into my airtable with the status of their order shown below. Is there any way i can create each card so when someone goes to check their order on my website and this table is embeded they can view a photo of the completed work and add notes to it or approve the design before it is shipped to them is there also an option with airtable that when that particular card is updated i can link that card to their email so they get notified of the update Is there an option to add a reminder to each order when their order is coming up to being due to complete? I am hoping to have each card private only to that customer - i know this is doable on monday.com so i am hoping as airtable is similar this can be done here too. or does anyone have any other suggestions.

Hi Community, I would like to do something rather simple however, I am struggling with linking tables. I have an E-mail address column in table A and the same in table B. All addresses from B are in A, but not all of A are in B. Whenever a new record (including a 5-star rating column) is added in B, I would like to synch A such that the rating is reflected in a column there too. Thus, similar to VLOOKUP in Excel, when the e-mail addresses match, Airtable should pull the rating in B to A. Any ideas?

Hi community. I am trying to “clean up” my list of collaborators by converting all email addresses from personal or @gmail addresses to our @organizational email addresses. When i delete or remove the collaborator with the gmail or hotmail address, I resend an invite to their organizational email. Some have accepted the invitation but it has their @gmail address listed again. What could be the cause of that?

I have listed multiple addresses in the cell for the maps app, however only the first address listed in the cell is plotted on the map. Is it possible for the maps app to pick up multiple addresses listed in one cell? Thanks!

In Google Sheets, I’m experimenting with making a Sheet to log blood test results. Types of things (eg. proteins, minerals, red blood count) tested for are on the Y axis. Adjacent, each has a normal-range threshold, defined by the lower limit and the upper limit. Then, the subsequent X axis includes a number of different date columns, carrying the specific numerical result for each test type. Due to complexity of views, I can imagine using an Airtable Table eg. to group test types - eg. there are a number of White Blood Cell test types. But how else / how well could this translate to Airtable? Each thing tested for has a normal range, defined by two column cells containing the lower and upper thresholds, accordingly. This allows me to use Conditional Formatting to shade the cell background cell green/red if the reading is out of range. What can I do with Airtable here? Indeed, do I have the axes the right way around? Am I better off recording each test (eg. Nov 6, 2021) as a record,

I cant work out how to produce a report in page designer without it taking a seperate page for each record. I expect I am missing a really obvious setting but I cqannot find it. Thanks for any help.
