Hi guys, I need help! There have been some incidents on the Airtable where I work as if a person delete the images from the base but it wasn’t her. The person didn’t touch anything but it appears with her name. Does anyone have any idea what it might be or how I fix this problem?

I need several zeros before my number in a number field. Any way to accomplish this without writing code? I numbered and filled, then changed it over to text field, but now I have to add the zeros to all the numbered cells. So two questions: Can I append zeros to the text field cells numbers automatically or Can I get a numbering field to recognize zeros before the integer? Thanks!

Hello Everyone! I would like to know if when we perform a synchronization between tables the data linked with other tables are also synchronized? For example: We have Base A which contains the table (Clientes-all) and base B which contains table (Clients-segmentB) and (Sales-segmentB). A column of table Clients-segmentB is linked with table Sales-segmentB > The sale number from Sales-segmentB is linked with the customer in Clients-segmentB. We want to synchronize table Clientes-all with table Clients-segmentB > All costumers must be in the table of their segment (Clients-segmentB) and in the general database (Clientes-all). I would like to know if in this synchronization the link with Sales-segmentB will be presented in Clientes-all or if the link will only appear inClients-segmentB and in Clientes-all the synchronization will only bring the data from Clients-segmentB to Clientes-all > The link from the custumer (from Clients-segmentB to

A large number of records were updated 3 days ago in error. They have chapters and were updated and added to the wrong chapter. I would like to undo this action add these records back to their chapters. I can do it one by one but it is a lot and would like to find an optimal solution. How do I undo this? Any thoughts? Any help Is appreciated.

I have decades of consulting experience using RBase and Access. I’m used to creating forms that display the One-to-Many relationship between two tables. For example, one form could display an Order in the upper part of the form, and then in a subform each Product for that Order could be displayed in rows, with Price, Quantity, and Extension for each Product, and totals at the bottom of the subform. The Order and the Products would be related by an Order ID field. I’m new to Airtable. I can’t see any way to do what I describe above in Airtable. Can anyone direct me to a tutorial, or tell me what I am missing? Any help would be appreciated. Carl

Hello all i have some clients the I need to send emails to, I need to send a form from formstack and I have a field with attached files after formstacks create them, I started the automation with “when the record is updated will start the automation” but I need to send emails only the record the I just updated and is different email all the time do you guys have a solution for this issue, please.

When an editor adds a new record, I want something that will search through one column to check the authors name and if there’s a match take the run date from the column it matches and put into a column with the new record.

Hi, I spent the last several days reviewing each of the videos posted on your website and I am very interested in moving my work from SmartSheet to Airtable however, I’ve been unsuccessful in building invoices. To give a quick summary, I work with 30+ different organizations for 3+ academic programs. I have to track their contributions across each of these programs by different contribution categories (Labor, materials, equipment, other). Specifically, what I liked about SmartSheet was that in a sheet, I can populate all of the necessary components and have the “Dashboard” only show information that met certain criteria (i.e. auto-populate data if the Company name is “A”, Program is “Universal Media”, line item status is “Pending Submission”, etc. Currently, in Airtable, I’ve used the “Link Record” feature but, I have to manually add each submission under the correct record in the new sheet versus, having it automatically populate. I’m relatively new to the platform, so please forgive any vernacular discrepancies on my part! So I’ve got a base with two tables. One table is a static list of assets (Asset Table), the second table is a list of requests (with inputs driven by a form, Form Table) that my coworkers use to make requests relating to those assets. I use a Link’d field as one of the input of the form, so my coworkers can choose which asset they’re submit a request on I’ve got that question in the form set to use a particular grid view within the Asset Table with a few filters and a sort applied to it. Everything works really well… except the order of units in the search function? The question in the form where you pick the asset has an + Add button, and you can scroll through the assets, or start typing to search and jump to what you’re looking for. I think I already know the answer to this, but is it really the case that there is no way to access the search feature within a shared view that is available from a desktop, while using a mobile browser? On one hand I love Airtable but the deeper I get the more it seems that: 1 - it suffers from glaringly obvious faults that seem like they’d be easy to fix 2 - those faults just persist over the years in spite of users pointing them out, rather than gradually being addressed. This market is getting more and more crowded with Airtable competitors. The very last thing I want is to have to reinvent everything I’ve done on a brand new platform, but the more time goes by enduring little problems like this the more inevitable that starts to seem.

Hi all! I have information in one tab on the database which is called “B12 Recipe Claim”. This value is an IF statement, where if the B12 content (specified elsewhere in the database) is above a certain value its “ :white_check_mark: High B12” So now, I want to, in another tab, add a score for “ :white_check_mark: High B12” for a specific attribute (i.e. “calm”). I’ve set up these scores elsewhere in the database. So, the formula should now be: IF({B12 Recipe Claim}=“ :white_check_mark: High B12”,{Calm B12 Score Lookup}, 0). I’ve used this formula for similar functions elsewhere in the table and it works fine. However I’ve noticed this in the table: Basically, when the value is true, it doesn’t pull the fact that the value should be 0.2, it’s just blank or returns the other value (0). I am trying to use a order now form on a multiple listed items. But whenever that order now form is filled, the listed item doesn’t show up in the data base. It’s like someone filled the order form but I have no idea, which item was ordered.

Let’s suppose I have an Employee table and a Team table. In the Employee table, each row is an employee, and there is a field called “Role” that indicates their role (Engineer, Designer, Manager, etc.) In the Team table, each row is a team, and there is a field called “Members” of type “Link to Employee” that accepts multiple items. The Members field is where we put all the employees who are members of the team. I want to add a field to the Team table that contains the engineers on the team — an automatically filtered subset of the Members. And I’m stuck. I could use a Lookup field to filter the items in the Members field, specifying in the condition that the Role has to be “Engineer”. But Lookup does too much: I have to specify a field of the Employee. So I could get the names of all the engineers, for example. But I want the actual Employee records, just like they appear in the Members field. There doesn’t seem to be a way to specify that

I am attempting to build a workflow that updates the status of a project. When a new project is sent to the client, it’s done via a form that adds an entry to Airtable, updates the STATUS cell to “in progress”, and then uses Zapier to send an email to the client. I’m having difficulty finding an easy way for the client to update the project status to “complete” WITHOUT sending them to a dedicated Airtable form. I’m wondering if either of these two options are possible: Embedding the form into the email for easy access Preferred option would be an URL that is generated and included in the email, that when clicked, would update the status of the project. Any ideas?

Pretty much anybody that has access to that website can also have access to the info we will chose to display. As mentioned before I tried using the Integromat template named: Post new records from Airtable to social media. But having many issues linking them together. Hi, i need help - Typeform app from Airtable. I have installed the Typeform app and I want to import a few variables from the response. I have three variables and I want to display the results in three different number fields. I merged the variables with a certain number fields in the Typeform app on Airtable but only the results of one and the same variable are shown in all the fields, is it a bug? Is it even possible to import multiple variables from Typeform? Thanks

So I made a zap that will add to my Airtable when a row in Google Sheets is created. That was easy. However, I am a bit hung up on updating the Airtable record though. How do I get Zapier to update Airtable from Google Sheets? Zapier wants a specific record, but I don’t know which record will need to be updated? How do I get Zapier to watch the entire table and update the field that was changed?

Hi, The issue described in That Bug: Error Fetching URL Meta Data still exists. I encountered it earlier this week, and now. When uploading the file using a URL via the API (via integromat), the document doesn’t end up in airtable When uploading the file using the airtable app, the following error is thrown: Earlier this week this issue resolved spontaneously. Today I experience this issue again, and I’m waiting for it to disappear again… Is there any hope for this issue to get resolved?

I’m trying to have a central calendar of sorts fed from a few different sources, and while I’ve used sync to great effect to make that calendar, my one hangup is in entering new events/dates into that calendar. To illustrate, let’s say I have an “Events” calendar and a few other misc calendars. For example a “Holiday” calendar. They are all synced into a “Master” calendar. What I would ultimately like to be able to do is add a new event while referencing the “Master” view. Say, for example, I am looking to schedule an event but want to make sure it isn’t going to fall on a holiday. I’d ideally like to be able to schedule right on the “Master” calendar. But it seems like that isn’t possible, and instead what I would have to do is go back to the “Events” calendar and add the event after referencing the “Master” calendar. Am I missing anything?

I would like to make it so members filling in a form can select their name or their organization’s name from a list in the database using “+add”. But I only want them to see an alphabetical list of member names and not information in any of the other columns. So I created a “member name only alphabetical” view in the database. Then on the form, I selected ‘limit record selection to a view’ and chose “member name only alphabetical”. But all the hidden fields are still showing up. I only wanted the alphabetical names to show. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, We received a “Maximum Credits Exceeded” error on a SendGrid app block and after upgrading SendGrid we are still receiving this error. We have tried: refreshing app blocks creating a new API creating a new block with new API duplicating base to start fresh again Nothing seems to work, it’s as though Airtable won’t recognize that we upgraded our account. We were able to do upgrade our SendGrid account without an issue last year when we had an increase in messages to send via Airtable. A support request has also been made. In the meanwhile, any other ideas to try, please share!

Hey community! So i want to add recurrent tasks for every record, the tasks are the same for every record. I tried doing a separate table named tasks with a subtask column and i link it to my primary table. THE PROBLEM is that when lets say record one fill his tasks, the tasks keep filled for ALL the records, i want to fill them individually for each record. Any suggestions?
