Hey! Our team is looking to use Airtable Forms for inputting data. We want to pre-fill data with the ATS template. We want to have 3 customized application forms where each has a pre-filled role. We have three roles: Product Manager, Software Engineer, Designer. If we shared a form that was customized with a description for the Product Manager role, they would not need to select a role from a dropdown. Is Airtable exploring prefilled variables?

Hi all! I’ve been an avid Airtable user for the past two years. Overal it works very well and I’m running a few startup tools through this. As of recently I started from scratch to build an order / administration system for kitchens. The products are built up through four different tables, as following: Tables Parts Combinations Kitchens Orders Parts → All unique parts used within the kitchens. Includes SKU, description, prices, stock management. Combinations → In order to put parts together in different quantities, this table combines those. Product name, link to Parts (one per line), Quantity and other information. Kitchens → Now in order to create one product consisting of all parts in the right quantities, I created this table to link to Combinations and make sure all combinations (part x quantity) are included. Furthermore I use Rollup to sum the prices etc. Initially I thought that I could link Kitchens to Parts, however I struggle to include different quantities per Part. Ther

I’m managing a base and form that deals with product orders. Recently, I noticed that some fields were not previously on the form got added onto the form! Looking at the snapshots, this suddenly happened in the span of a day (where I did not access the form that much). The fields were metadata that only I should have access to, and as a result lost a fair bit of revenue. The most concerning thing at the moment is that I have no idea how this happened; for example with one of my bases, 6/8 of the additional metadata fields were added to my form (as opposed to all of them). I was thinking it was a misclick, but I don’t see how I could have misclicked 6 times. It could have also been that I pressed “add all”, but only a subset of the fields were not added. Do you have any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this so it never happens again? EDIT: Some potential reasons? Hi, I’m trying to produce a document from records with attachments, including images and pdf files. Page Designer produces blurred pages, and nothing I try help (I tried changing the page dimentions and image dimensions, but it still produces images in very low resolution and weight). How can I do this using an app? (I wanted to use formstack, but it’s very expensive, about 100$ a month). thanks!

I was using Airtable fine earlier but as of the past hour, I can’t click on any record or edit any of the data in them. I’ve tried a few different bases and it’s the same issue. Also tried logging out and back in again. Airtable Status on Twitter says they had an issue affecting users 4 hours ago today but that issue is now resolve. Anyone else experiencing this or have any ideas to fix it?

Hello, I have a table that I would like to show when certain things were done in each Apartment. For example, when we painted it or replaced the fridge etc. I have the formulas to insert the date these things occurred. At first, I used IF(Paint=BLANK(), BLANK(), TODAY()) but that would update the records every day. I then thought IF(Paint=BLANK(), BLANK(), LAST_MODIFIED_TIME()); however, I just went to one suite to say we just painted (we finished today) but the fridge date also updated to the last modified time. Let’s use 701 as an example. Below shows the fridge was replaced 4/6/2021 but as soon as I say we painted all dates will update Is there a way to keep the dates as is and up date only when the column in the formula is updated and not the entire record?

We’re currently importing data from our website into Airtable. For some reason one of the Airtable sheets misses a line between every record imported from the website. Also, we have two columns - first name and last name. The last name appears correctly but “first name” is showing as “unnamed record”. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thank you

Hi Airtable Fam! I’m looking to find a formula that will help me make a dynamic status tracker. I have a Projects sheet connected to a Tasks sheet, in which Projects can connect to multiple tasks but not vice versa, and Tasks can be marked “Done” with a Checkbox. I’d like to have a Single Select column in my Projects sheet that says “To Do” when no checkboxes are checked, “Pending” when some but not all checkboxes are checked, and “Done” when all checkboxes are checked, so it’s easy to see how far along my team and I are with our projects, and which Tasks have yet to be completed. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks everyone! <3

Hi! I have created a sync between two bases in Airtable. In the destination base, I want to create a form view with questions that should become new records in the synced table, but I can’t find the “form view” option. Is it possible to create a form view in a synced table? The new records from the form submissions should only stay in the destination base. Thank you in advance, Clara

Hey all I’m building a small system for delivering food from our street food stall. I’m using JotForm to populate the Airtable base, then Views to organise delivery routes etc. I’d like to display a particular delivery route (View) record by record on someone’s smart phone, so they see a formatted summary (Customer name, address, phone number, order details) as well as (ideally) a checkbox to click when the order has been delivered. And then a button to move to the next record. Is this possible within existing Airtable functionality and blocks? I’ve been looking at Page Designer and Forms, but I can’t see how to do this easily … Any advice is very welcome please! And if you live in London UK, I can sort some free paella for you at some point :winking_face: Thanks

We’re pulling through images into Page Designer that are 2-4MB each. I can Print to PDF these individual rows with no issue - one-at-a-time. But if I try to print (50) rows, this is a 100-200MB file, and when I click “Save to PDF” it takes about 10 minutes before popping up an Airtable error “Failed to Print”… Any ideas how I can get this to work so I can print the 50 rows at a time?

This means I have a time zone allocated to a single person. I then want to do a calc that shows how many hours they are behind or forward of me at any given time I decide So for instance if I make a calender entry to call them back at 12:52 GMT, and the local time with the user I want to call back is -11 hours it should show 02:52 I have worked out how I can do the calc if I input an actual number - like in this calc DATEADD({Contact Again GMT},-11,‘hours’) This works and shows the correct local time. Hey! I have set up an base to keep track of the location of bikes. The bikes are all the same but have different frame numbers. I have made table of different possible locations that is linked to the “input” table. In this input table I gather the next values: autonumber - Frame number - created time - location (from other table) - status (single select, broken or in use) Every time a bike is moved, a record is made with a frame number and the new location. In this way, it’s possible to have multiple records with the same framenumber, but with a different created time and location. If I want to see the current bikes in a specific location I need to filter out unique frame numbers and their status and location based on the latest entry. How do I do this? Thanks! Jeroen

Hello, I have two tables in single Base containing names of different people. For e.g. in table A, I have a column having names of people (120 entries). I also have another table with column having names of people(50 entries). I want to automatically merge all these 170 entries into another table column and this should keep syncing. Any idea how can I achieve probably using formula or integromat?

I am trying to deploy an Airtable App using a simple CICD build pipeline. I need to set the API key using the block cli. Because this is an automated process I need to be able to set the key without any user input. When I try to pass the key to the command (block set-api-key key***********) it still asks me to manually enter the key which causes the process to fail. Is there a away around this?

Problem: After downloading a view as a .csv, some of the content within a lookup column is being replaced with #name-quiz-app Below is the content as it appears within Airtable. After downloading this view as a .csv, below is how it populates. In column C, the content was replaced by #NAME?. Any idea as to why this is happening? This is a huge dealbreaker for our team affecting our decision to purchase Airtable.

Hello kind forum. I hope someone can advise. I need to generate a tabular report for who is due to be paid per diems for the previous week. The report needs to look something like this: Name____________ Number of Days of PD Due J. Smith_______________________7 J. Doe _______________________6 J. Brown_____________________5 That is to say that I need to show the number of days that per diem is due for each person for the previous week. The base has a table of employees. There is also a “Daily Reports” table that the field manager fills out with a ton of information. This table has one record for each day. I would like to add a link-to-record field that is called “Not Due Per Diem Today”, that links to the Employees table. This will allow the manager to indicate the small number of people on his team who are NOT due per diem, rather than indicate the large number of people who ARE due per diem. Hi there. I’m using API to upload my photos from google drive to airtable. When they uploaded, after few second, a green frame remove them. How…! What is green frame! why my photos deleted!

Records disappear then reappear when I re-enter the text part of the variable into the filter of a table view. This disappearing can happen when I re-fresh my browser, or when I go to a different table view and then return. I can both replicate as well as “fix” this behavior: There are three different fields that can be called on in my filter for this table view … Project - linked field to Project table Discipline - lookup field (Discipline field from Project table) Name - Formula field (concatenate formula that includes Project field) I can replicate the odd behavior (of records disappearing then reappearing when I re-enter the text part of the variable into the filter) when either: Filter is set to Discipline contains meeting; OR Filter is set to Name contains meeting. I can “fix” the behavior when: Filter is set to Project contains meeting Behavior has been functioning fine for many months with the filter set to ‘Discipline contains meeting’.
