Hello, Apologies for the very basic newbie question… Is it possible to convert a list of (geographical) addresses into a list of corresponding longitudes and latitudes? I can see extensions that do it but just wondering if it’s possible within Airtable itself… TIA

Hi! I am wondering if there is an ability to add additional data dimensions to Pivot Tables in AirTable. What I am hoping to accomplish would essentially break down each Rep, and by the dollar amount of potential sales they have in each deal stage, this part of I am able to get set up, however, I would like to show additional data points (such as monthly quota) by each rep. Ideally, the table would show a row for each rep, the amount of money the rep has in each stage, and then an additional column showing their quota for added context. I have been able to do this in Excel and Google sheets but adding in additional columns using a “Value as: Column” type function and selecting additional columns from my table. Any suggestions on how this might equate into AirTable?

I have a table with calendar view that was setup when I had the view account. Now I have the paid version I want set the end time for meetings as well but can’t see how to do this. Please advise.

This started about a week ago. No changes to the computer (no windows update, though there was a chrome update that took place after the issue occurred I am on the latest Chrome 90 update)… I am using a Zebra ZP 450 Label Printer. Wasn’t having any issues (can only use page designer on Chrome). When I go to select the printer it says it’s not available. I can select any other printer, however, I can’t figure out how to export a pdf to the label size we typically print 2.25 x 1.25. PDF only wants to print out letter size. I uninstalled the driver, and reinstalled and it stopped giving me the error message, but now airtable just crashes when I select this printer. We’ve been using this printer for months, and it stopped working last week.

Hi - I set up an automation which triggers append new row in google sheets. It worked for a time but now it seems to have a problem with the connected accounts. I’m logged in with the same e-mails as both the bases (sheets and airtable) have been built with. I have a screenshot of my problem. Can anyone explain to me how to connect the airtable and sheets? I have a process where we have a number of multiselect items (Resources) in one column that indicate the need to score each of them in a different table. Each of those tables has a checkbox when they are done (Completed). I’d like to write an equation that looks for an item in the Resource Column, and then looks at Completed checkbox, and returns a true/false statement on the task. So if an item has three Resources and two checkbox completed, it would return a “Needs to be Done” for the one that is not complete. I would run these sequentially on all five Resources. I think each chunk could look like: IF( SEARCH(‘Riparian’, {Resource Type(s)})>0, AND( SEARCH(‘Riparian’, {Resource Type(s)}>0,{ :heavy_check_mark: RB Score Drafted}), " RB Done", “RB Not Done” ) ) This would search for the resource name in the multi select field, if greater than 0 its there, and therefore needs to return a Completed Checkbox to be true. I am trying to print to a 30"x42" page size from the base itself (not the page designer). I am doing this because I want to print the full table. However, in the print settings, I am limited to these options. Is printing to this larger page size possible?

Hi All . i have i hope a simple question I have a single select where my employees can choose a size of a product . in the next field i have a price field and the next is a amount field and the last is a formular to get the price this works as it should . my question now , is there a way to give discount if we choose more than one in amount for example i want to add a 50 % discount if anyone chooses 2 in amount . is this possible in Airtable ?

Hello! I need help updating my records with automation. There are 2 tables: one is a table that I use to create reports on the status of our Lights: each location has an ID, say 1234 and associated barcodes like a light #, a controller # and a pole # The other is a table of the entries from the tech team doing maintenance in the field. they report what ID they worked on and if there were changes in the light #, controller # and pole # Often the tech crew mistypes stuff and I need to review their submissions before changing our table thus not to corrupt our internal database. So I synch the Tech’s table in my base and added a few columns like Pole # fix which copies their input as a text so I edit it if needed and I can have a comparison between what the tech inputted and what I edited it to. I then made a checkmark which is the trigger of the automation, essentially saying that everything is good and to update the light #, the pole # and controller # in our table of the ID that they w

I’m building a simple app for internal use, i.e. not shared. The App calls an external API endpoint which requires an API key. Also there is a staging and a production endpoint. I have read about GobalConfig, but all the docs say do not store sensitive information here. There is no guidance on where to store sensitive data. Please can someone tell me where I store credentials for an external API and also how I can use something like environment variables to swap the stage/prod endpoint and stage/prod API key.

Hi everyone! I am using Airtable to have my applicants fill out their information. Now I am thinking to use it for test (multiple choice question type). Can I set a scoring system in the airtable? That way I don;t have to check the answers manually if they select the correct one?

I am pulling the records from a table, and I am able to loop through all the records, but in the API documentation I can only see examples for pulling specific cell values by directly calling each specific field name. In order to future-proof the script in the event that someone changes field names at some point, I’d like to programmatically loop through all the fields without having to know what all the field names are and hard-coding them in. Anyone know how to do this?

I’m trying to filter out dates for records in the past, seems like something silly, that should be built in … how do I do this?

This is for a non-profit that teaches English to immigrants. For this summer, we want students to be able to choose from among classes at their level. On the registration form, I’d like a student to choose their level, then be presented with the available classes at that level. (The available classes at that level could be determined by a filtered view, or some other kind of condition.) Is there a way to do this with AT/addins? I realized that I could create a different form for each of our 7 levels. But we’re having 2 summer sessions, so that would be 14 forms, and we would need to have each form in 6 languages … I found an unresolved question like this from a few years back, am hoping it is now possible. I really appreciate your help!

Hello, I’ve been trying to import a csv to one of my tables and I get a “… cells values could not be mapped” error - the error suggest that I should enable the “create missing select options” to fix it but the option disables itself every time I enable it. This leads to some blank cells on my spreadsheet. How can I fix this?

Trying to print a view in landscape but at first it previews in portrait, with the data. So I cancel and try and select print view again, click landscape, again, then when I select next I see blank pages in portrait, and many, many blank pages. Am I missing something. Thank you.

We have an Airtable form, where people can upload documents. When someone uploads a pdf oder jpg image, we can see the image and download it. But someone uploaded a HEIC file, and we can neither see nor download it. The download button does not show up. PS: I found a not very straight forward way to fix the problem. It’s possible to download the file in the iPhone app. But there should be a fix to allow downloads of these files on a Desktop.

Hello, I am using the CSV import app to update my airtbale base, but one of the values from the CSV keeps returning this message when trying to save the records “The following values won’t be imported”. The value is a percentage, and I tried to change the format in excel to number, general, percentages… but no matter what I do, the same message comes. Does anybody know why the value is not recognized?

Hi team, Is there a way to create a stacked bar chart that goes to 100%; i.e. showing the % split of records instead of simply the absolute count of records. I have this chart to roughly measure conversion rate from various sources; But it would be even better if each bar extended to 100% and instead showed the percentage of records from each source that either booked or were lost. Is it possible to create something like this; either by manipulating the data via formula, or with a chart/app option that I’m missing?

I’m getting an over limit warning in a base with only 1,034 records. (Nothing is filtered.) It’s not a problem — I’ve been thinking about splitting up this base anyway. But, what gives? Is the limit 1,200 or is it something less?

Hello! I need to get the number of each row in the table. I tried to use the Autonumber for this and it worked until I changed the number of rows in the table. In this regard, i have a question: Is there a way to automatically update the Autonumber every time a new row is added or removed? Or perhaps there is another way to get the current row number?
