i have a date field which works ok - except that for no apparent reason it won’t save 4/7/2013. i have tried entering other days in July 2013 using the date picker but nothing. it will save today’s date. On another record (on the same view) the date field is working as it should. Any suggestions?

Hi all, The “+Add or Import” links at the top in left and right in a base header as flashing AND the link doesn’t work. That’s the only place. Any ideas? It’s rather annoying. Uploaded video to youtube: thanks Ben

Hi, I am trying to import a google sheet where the one columns is all URLs. In order to make the URL column readable, I made each cell the word LINK and then linked that to the actual URL. To put that into HTML terms, <a href="http://www.airtable.com">LINK</a> (I am not sure how Google sheets stores that internally.) Unfortunately, airtable converts that all into either the tag LINK (with rounded corners and pretty color) or the relative URL “link” if you assign the type URL to the column. I suspect that on import already, Airtable discarded the URL information and just kept the link text? Is there anything I need to tweak this on import to get the desired effect? Going through all thousand rows an hand-unpacking things back to just the URL is not really an option.

I have a unique need and I’m hoping you all have some ideas because I haven’t figured out a solution. I work for an organization who is recording symptoms for a group of people (clients). We also want to record symptoms that volunteers have experience with. Then, the question: How can I compare these two sets of data and find volunteers that have similar symptoms of the clients in order to best matcha volunteer to a client. Not sure if this could be done with an app, a script, junction table, some sort of data export… any thoughts? By the way, I have a whole base for volunteers and a whole base for clients. Hi, i have two tables. Keywords (2 Views: 1st “All records”, 2nd “Records without topic”) Topics After importing new keywords to the Keywords Table i 'm using a script to link all keywords without a topic to a topic which i define while i’m running the script. The first time i’m using the script - f.e. i’ve just imported 3 Keywords (Keyword 1, Keyword 2, Keyword 3) and after that running the script to link them to “Topic 1” of the Topics Table - everything works as expected. But if i import another set of keywords (Keyword 4, Keyword 5, Keyword 6) and run the script again - again i like to link all of the just imported keywords to “Topic 1” - the first three keywords of the first import gets unlinked from topic 1 and the new imported keywords gets linked to “Topic 1” instead. Seems i’m making a mistake in the script but i have no clue what to do to make it work. Could anybody help me out here? Thanks a lot. Kai

The idea is that on a separate table, I want to calculate sell-through rate. So at any given time, I want to pull up this table, and see how many records I have across all my inventory tables. These are organized onto separate tables based on category. In the next column, I want to be able to calculate the quantity of sales from a particular month within my sales table. My sales table already records the month each sale was made, so I just want the total quantity from the particular month on my sell-through rate table. Any ideas?

Hello - I am trying to use the CREATED_TIME field in a formula and am getting a different date: Created time field show Date format as Local 2021-01-30 9:59pm When I use this in a formula: FirstName &" “& LastName &” "&DATETIME_FORMAT(CREATED_TIME(), ‘YYYY-MM-DD’) it shows FirstName LastName 2021-01-31 I’d appreciate any insight on why these dates are showing as 2 different days. Hey everyone, I’m fighting with a thing that I wanna do with airtable: Table ‘customers’ holds all my customers information Table ‘orders’ holds all orders with all the order information Table ‘catalogues’ holds all catalogue orders (as they are vastly different from orders) with all catalogue infos. What I want is to have a column on the customers table that shows the last catalogue ordered by it’s catalogue name. This is for example “Winter 2018” and is kept in a select field in the catalogues table for each catalogue order entry. I already have an auto number on the catalogues table and are showing the highest ID on the customers data row but I can’t seem to map a catalogue name to that. So what I need is to lookup that catalogue name from the catalogues table. I am already showing things like last order but it’s way simpler there as I can use the data and use a max() rollup on that. Hi, I’m having trouble using Page Designer. I’m currently pulling from a linked field to create a table with all the relevant items for an invoice. If you look in the attachment, you’ll see that the “Total Due From Client” is all on one line and separated by a comma. I’d love for $900 to sit above $150, on two separate rows, without any comma. Is there a way to design that in Page Designer? I’ve been banging my head against this issue for several hours and I can’t seem to find an answer. Thanks so much for all your help and consideration. Is there a way to change the appearance of how the linked options show on a live form? During the edit mode the links show more information, which is necessary for the purposes we would like to use this for. I have tried to scour the community for anything similar, but haven’t been able to find anything that addresses this. Hey, new to Airtable. Is there a way to get a clickable link from an email in a field? I have a project management template that I am using. In the project description I have several fields, using the “URL” type I paste the unique email link of the format: message:%3CCAPTktyxYeuqfNsDaLDg864AO=b4MawVwSaaBwRRgOSTuWX5fCA@mail.gmail.com%3. This tries to open Safari and it doesn’t link to the email app. Is there another way to do this? (I also tried with a “long text field”.

We have a table of jobs for volunteers to sign up for. Each row in the jobs table represent a ‘job’. One of the columns contains the volunteer’s ID who has sign up for that particular job. The problem is every volunteer creates a personal view filtered to show only their own jobs. Is it possible to create a view (or form, or ???) that automatically filters to the viewing account’s identifier? Thanks!

Hello all, I’ve got a system set up which takes flagged Outlook messages and put them in an Airtable. Works like a charm, but I’d also like to have the attachments of the message in Airtable. I just can figure out how. Does anybody have experience with this, or any suggestions on how to approach this? Currently I have Integromat check regularly for flagged messages which are put into Airtable once they are found. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Anthony

Is there a way to multi-select (other people’s) personal views as an admin for deletion? We had a lot of volunteers in our last project. Each of them created a personal view to show their tasks. Now I’m trying to clean things up a bit. Deleting 70-80 personal views one at a time via a click, pause, click, click, pause routine gets a little tedious. :slightly_smiling_face: Thanks!

Just today, after making multiple airtable bases in the past, unrelated form views are showing up when I’m viewing a base in grid view. I even ended up making a duplicate form because the form view wasn’t automatically there as it always is. After making it a second time, and it not showing up, I did a “search” and found them both. Still, multiple unrelated form views are showing up when in the grid view of this specific base. In the past, only 1 form showed up, related to a grid view, of a specific base. Thank you for any help anyone can provide on this. Did an upgrade just happen? If so, please fix this “feature”!

I am using an Airtable form for my site. But when I try to use it, I get a warning: " Warning: potentially risky form The user-created form you are attempting to access has been flagged as a potential risk. If you wish to proceed and view the form anyways, please remember to never submit your passwords through Airtable forms. Please contact abuse@airtable.com if you would like to request a review of this form." Has anyone faced this and found a way to resolve the issue?

Hello Everyone, I’m a teacher & I am tagging teaching materials with a “Multiple Select Field” type column. I forgot to add a tag and I would need to add it to many Tag cells. Is there a way to add one element (tag entry) to many cells without replacing the various other elements (tags) already existing? Any help is much appreciated!

Hi, I’m new to Airtable and already looking forward to what it can do. My use case is to flow survey responses to flow into Airtable and then graph them against the original question - straightforward enough. However, has anyone set up their questions in Airtable first and then uploaded them to an external Survey tool such as Typeform or SurveyMonkey? It seems that these products only expect the data to flow out, not in? Has anyone found a survey tool capable of receiving questions that it then sends out, and then flows back the results as per normal. Thanks for your help. David

Connected typeform to airtable through a zapier integration. Text data, single select options work and is moved. Problem is the uploaded image / attachment from typeform comes up empty in my airtable. Anybody with the same problem? Dear community, I am struggling with linked records ; I have a tab (insight) that links records to another (journey) and in the last one I would like to have to columns : one with all the records and another with the same records but limited to a specific view. While the first one runs like a charm the second one remains empty. The problem is that when in the first tab 'insights) I add the link to the other (journey) the duplicate column is not synced. I have tried to create a new one and limit to the view, duplicate the column, … nothing is working. I was expecting that when I created the second column that links to the same tab all matching record will populate the cell but it does not.
