Somehow my apps aren’t loading the past 5 days. Everything else is working fine. Here’s what I’ve tried that’s not working: reloading the window reopening the Airtable base restarting Chrome It works and loads just fine in my desktop app. Anyone know what’s going on here? Thanks for any input in advance!

Hi there! We have a base on the pro plan that we normally use from EU locations without any issues. Now we are trying to use it from Canada and the browser tab where Airtable is open freezes making it impossible to work on the base. Our tech staff has checked the issue and concluded that it is related to Airtable performance. *Her laptop has enough specifications to work with Airtable (Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, Windows 10, Chrome) In fact it works with Mercury, Zoiper, Slack normal, and without communications cuts. During the 5 min call, there have been no cuts, however, Airtable stayed blocked 2 times. * Analyzing the calls the browser makes to Airtable, he sees the calls POST to https://airtable.com/internal/beacon are those which stayed blocked and take more than 20 secs to resolve but just happens with some of them. Anyone experiencing similar issues?

Hi, i’m working with airtable a while now and i think it’s a really good software. But at the moment i’m stucked and i don’t find a solution. I was searching in the forum but didn’t find a solution that matches my problem. Maybe i’m not searching with the right keywords. Here is what i like to do: I have a table in which i import csv files called “Keywords” (let’s say f.e. every day a different csv file with the same structure). Every record which i import needs to be linked to a record in a second table called customer. At the moment i’m using the app “CSV Import” and after that i need to link every record manually to the other table (customer). For every record of a CSV file i import it is always the same record in the other table i like to link to. So i’m wondering if it’s possible to use a script (?) to import the csv file and have the opportunity to say to which record i like to link the records to so it’s just one step and it’s done automatically? My apps have not been loading for over two weeks! I do not know what is going on. My Gantt chart worked for a couple days after going pro, but now it just sits and spins. I have submitted help requests every way I know how, but have gotten no response. The support page is terrible. The contact us page just goes to the community instead of actually having contact info. The community has no good information for my problem. The last post only has 10 views so no one that can help is seeing it. When I try to post a new topic I have to select a category. I don’t feel any of the categories are correct and fear that they are not going to the correct support staff. Terrible support.

It’s impossible to scroll the desktop version of Airtable on an iPad Pro (2018, 12.9”) - either with touch or with the Magic Keyboard trackpad. I use the iPad as my primary device for work that often brings me away from the desktop, and so I essentially can’t work with Airtable unless I’m at home on a desktop. The iOS app does not have anywhere close to feature or interface-quality parity to the desktop, which makes it not an option for doing serious work in Airtable. Is there any plan to fix this? Zapier has now Google Home Assistant module. I was excited to see that as a potential replacement for IFTTT. It seems (at least in theory from how I see it), the Zapier workflow should allow to tell a command (in your phone or google speaker etc), Google Assistant will ask for the record I want to look up (e.g. by by number) and then update the field in the record using the voice. That’s how I see it. Wouldn’t this be amazing? Flow is setup and configured all green and good but if I tell Google the command, the flow doesn’t get triggered. I know it’s not issue with Google Assistant because my IFTTT flows still work. So it’s maybe Zapier flow still doesn’t work. It’s in Beta. Or has anybody get it working? What’s your experience?

Hello, I was hoping to show a field on a Gallery View but only if it had data in it. If this were possible some cards would show a field if there is data in it and others would not show the field if there was no data entered in the field. I have long cards taking up space with blank voids. Is this feature available? Similarly, the cards allow the same amount of space for all fields that are showing regardless of how much data there is. If there is a one-word answer I do not need three+ lines of empty space after it. I do not need the cards to be the same length. Thanks

How do you insert a zip code in a record when the zip code begins with “0”? In excel, I would place an “’” ahead of the 0 and it would remain. Thanks for the help.

Hi, my team and I are using the Web Clipper app to add relevant news articles to a News table which uses a linked record field to connect articles to our clients & prospects. Our total list of clients & prospects is currently ~10k so I limited our linked record to a view of our most recent contacts (~250). Unfortunately, the limited linked record selection doesn’t follow through to our Web Clipper and instead of 250, we have to select from a list of 10k when clipping articles which causes the extension to crash… Do you all know of a workaround or if this on the app’s roadmap? I have used Airtable for 1 year dropping Dropbox files into many Bases. For the last week, when I go into the Attachment Field and click on Dropbox, only a few folders pop up and then as you scroll, it stops after a few folders and an orange bar pops up saying “Error requesting Cloud.” I have tried on other bases and have tried to check all accounts, but no such luck. Suggestions?

Hi, I run an e-commerce website I built in Webflow and already collect both orders and users data in Airtable using Integromat. I am new to Airtable but already in love with the product. I would like to use Airtable and the data I have put into it to enhance my business emailing strategy. For now, I use the standard Webflow ecommerce emails to send orders notifications to my customers and don’t have yet a proper email marketing solution. The idea is to pair Airtable with an email service (like SendGrid for instance) using Integromat to trigger all kind of emails, from order notifications, to marketing emails, to product feedback emails, etc. I would like to use Airtable as a supercharged leads database (with more data than just contact details) to send emails using pre-built templates that would be filled by data picked in Airtable. Hi all, let me try to explain what I am looking for and hopefully someone can follow and assist. I have a shared view link and wish to embed that into a web page. I want to filter the embedded view based on user input and not have to create multiple view links. More detail: User submits a form (think of the user “logging in”) Based on their input, the shared view link embedded on the web page is filtered (lets say by state) Cogntio Forms and other apps permit embedded items to be filled based on URL parameters. I have a couple of questions about billing which are making my head hurt when I try look up the answers in the support documentation. Maybe you can help? I have 2 business. One of which I run with a business partner who has his own “Pro Level” Airtable workspace that he shares with me. He gets charged for me being a Pro level collaborator and then I reimburse him that cost. My 2nd business I run on my own but I also want Pro level features on those bases. However, I don’t necessarily want to have to keep them in the shared workspace with my partner from the other business but I would get charged an additional fee for having Pro on 2 workspaces, correct? It seems weird that I would get charged for a 2nd Pro workspace when really all I’m trying to do is keep certain bases private and keep them visually organized. I’m not understanding the logic behind the billing of Airtable at all and I really have tried. I’ve never encountered any other company that has such a convoluted billing system

Hello all, I’m a total newbie and looking for a solution for tracking the progress of our swim school’s students. We have 10 levels, each with about 10 skills that students work on concurrently throughout the term. I need to be able to link a given student to one of our 10 levels, and to the teacher giving that student their lessons. Ideally, only the teacher of that student should be able to make changes to the student progress. They would do this by changing the % grade for each skill in the student’s level. So, I guess I upload the 10 levels, and the 10 skills per level. I upload a list of students showing what level they are working on, and who is their teacher. Is there a way to: a) keep track of past progress - ie, not just show that a student is now on 88%, but that last week he was on 74%, 66% the week before, etc? b) automate a change to a student being graded on a higher level, once a set percentage has been reached by the student in all the skills in that level? c) automate

Hello! I have a table (Table 1) that came as part of the template for my base. I duplicated that table (Table 2) and am now using that. Whenever I return to Airtable for the day, it opens with Table 1, and I’d like it to open to Table 2 so I don’t accidentally start working on Table 2. Does that make sense? Is there a way to make Table 2 primary? Thanks!

Hi! A bit surprised I haven’t been able to find an answer for this, or figure it out myself. I have a table that has duplicate values in one column. I want to return all unique values from that column into a new column in a different table within the same base. Ideally, I’d like the column in the new table to be the Name column. Is it possible to reference button fields in page designer views?

I am working on creating a scoring app that allows multiple teams to participate at the same time and have several attempts at each challenge. How can I get a team’s different score submissions entered into their respective row? Scores would be entered at different times throughout the day through a form. Example: Team A: Challenge 1: 1st Score 100 2nd score 110 3rd score 105 Team B Challenge 1: 1st Score 100 2nd score 180 Team C: Challenge 1: 1st Score 100 2nd score 110 3rd score 105 I would like for the rows to be set up as follows: Challenge Team 1st score 2nd Score 3rd Score 1 A 100 110 105 1 B 100 180 1 C 100 110 105
