Hi! Our team is exploring what is available to use to have Airtable base data push to Excel spreadsheets automatically so we can do some reporting that is not supported in Airtable. Any advice or recommendations on tools or solutions would be much appreciated. Thank you! 

I have a question about Grouping… I understand how to Group a grid view. I am doing so by a Multi-Select field, called “Topic”. The problem (which is one of preference) is that some of my items have more than one Topic assigned. The way Grouping works, it shows distinct groups for combinations of Topic, eg. Not only a Group showing items with a “Red” Topic, but also a Group for items with “Red”, “Green” AND “Blue” Topics. I’m curious if I could force a Group to show all the items with the corresponding Topic. It is confusing to see this many Group combinations thanks to Multi-Select.

I want to create a conditional rollup field that only calcualtes the sum of values that are marked as Completed (so there’s a column with a checkbox - I only want to calcualte the totals if the row has that checkbox selected with a tick) - Makes sense? How do I do that? I know I can do that in Excel right? Can I do it in AirTable?

When importing a CSV with a multi-select column, Airtable will always detect commas as a separator and make tags from it. But in my case the tags contain commas I don’t want to have as a separator. Do you know any workaround to either avoid thos specific commas to be detected as a separator, or change the separator character ? Thanks !

Y’all! I need help with reporting. I NEED to be able to pull from multiple tables. Our database is almost entirely qualitative (we are tracking progress on a large health improvement plan). currently it appears I can only pull from one table at a time. OR good reporting app that integrates directly with Airtable? Tableau doesn’t integrate directly so I lose all the relationships I built between each data table. I’ve built a great database with no way to report out what is in it!..

Can you add an integration with Tableau (the same way that Google Sheets currently integrates with Tableau)? Alternatively, can you tweak your API so that Air Table to Sql Server via Zapier allows a user to edit an existing row and then sync that row with a table in Sql Server?

Hi I am looking for a way that I can export to a word document. I work on a local magazine published in several different areas. One of the features of the magazine is a list of local clubs and societies. We currently just have the list in Word which we then copy and paste the relevant parts each month into our design package. As we cover 7 areas and some of the clubs cover both areas every time we make a change we have to check 7 word files to make the change in each. There must be an easier way! I was hoping I could create a database with all the info and export the info to be printed onto a word document but can only see that I can do this to a CSV file which is no good for then placing into the magazine. Any help would be appreciated

I am wondering if anyone has encountered this scenario below.We have a team of graphic designers that will submit a form to the retouching team in Airtable.Sometimes, the initial request needs to be changed and we are looking for a way for the designers to be able to re-open the request.Most designers are not in Airtable and no designers are allowed within the Retouchers base.Does anyone have any thoughts on a way of re-opening a request without having users in Airtable? 

Use case: I have a grid of store locations. Each store location has an address and a lat-long coordinate pair. What I’d like to do is show the potential discrepancy between the geocoded address and the lat-long. Except, not as a number, but as either two map pins, different colors a line segment, where one end is the geocoded lat-long and the other the given lat-long I’ve done this in the past, in tools like Tableau, carto.db and even GoogleMaps (where I’ve calculated the line segment behind the scenes in MS-SQL) Something like this, but obviously at a much, much smaller scale

I have two fields: Contracted Completed Each of these fields are set to link to multiple records. In this case they are modules students may choose to complete. I would like to have a third field that automatically looks at the linked records in field 1 and checks to see if the same records are linked to in field 2. I tried {field 1} = {field 2} This works if the linked-to records are in exactly the same order. But, if they differ The formula does not recognize the same records are linked. In this case, I would like {field 1} = {field 2} to evaluate to true. I would appreciate any insight you can share. Thank you. /s

There are so many amazing things Airtable can do… why can’t I figure out how to move attachments? I have a table and I have a team of employees that document images of damages they see in real life at the museum I work at. When that same team access’s this table they look at the attachment field see what has been noted as damaged the day before and then fix that damage in real life. Once the damage has been fixed I want them to either move that attachment to a “fixed” attachment field or put an automation so that they can rename the image as “fixed” and it will then move to a “fixed” attachment field. This very simple function doesn’t seem to exist?! Or am I missing something?

Hi! Hoping someone has done this before. I have a list of customers and their email addresses organized into groups. So I have 3 columns: customer name, email, and group #. I’m looking to make a new table for email automation. I’d like to pull all emails associated with a single group number into a CSV field called “recipients.” Is this possible? I’d appreciate some guidance if so. Alternate workflows welcome. Thanks!

Hi, I am currently using the delete duplicates script. However, I need to ensure it deletes the newest record or the one where I have not added a status. Is there something I can add to the script to ensure this happens? Many Thanks, Hannah

I have been using Airtable for a few years now and just recently, any forms I create with the most basic info (like First Name and Last Name) are getting flagged with this red warning image.  This is not useable as I need people to link to the form and sign up for things. There are no passwords being requested, no account numbers. Just basic name info and some drop down selections on options for working with our business.  How do I get rid of this? I already reached out to support and no reply. 

Hi, I'm getting ready to delete a table, but first I want to see all the bases and tables it's linked to. I know about the Base Schema Extension, which works to see relationships within a base but I want to know about relationships between bases as well.I believe the behavior when I delete the base will be that the linked fields will be converted to string fields, so the values won't be lost, but before I do the deletion I'd like to know all the bases and tables that will be affected.Anyone know how to find that out?

I am attempting to use my first webhook. I followed this guide: Airtable Webhooks Integration: Triggers & Automations Simplified 101 No matter what I try, I cannot get a response of any sort from my webhook URL. When I browse it directly I get a 404, of course. The automation is enabled. I have created a number of gallery views to which I've shared links & saved as bookmarks on my ipad home screen. The purpose is to have quick access to information in various categories. I prefer gallery view to grid view because it is less cluttered, less fiddely and neater, especially on a smaller screen. It works fine except for the following problems:1. The views open very slowly from the bookmarks - it may take 10-30 seconds for a view to open 2. Even though I'm logged into Airtable on my ipad, when I access the gallery views via the bookmarks I'm not3. I can't edit the records in the views (I can if I enter the airtable app and navigate around in it to each view, but it's very nitty gritty and a bit of a hassle. The whole point of doing the bookmark views was to get easy, direct access to each category of informationI've looked into settings for the links, but there were only 2 options and none were about editing. Hi, I’m tracking inventory coming in and out of my warehouse.   I have a shipment table where i enter a record in each time something gets received OR shipped out of the warehouse.   When the material is received i have a field to enter the bin location that the product gets put away to.   That field is a lookup to a linked table where I’ve entered all of the available bin locations that can be chosen.   In the bin location table I’m tracking the project name in a field next to the bin location.  That way i can look at all my bin locations and see which projects are in which locations.  We need to know how many bin locations a project are taking up at a given time.   My dilemma is when material is being shipped out of my warehouse I’d like to be able to re-enter the bin locations the material is leaving and then update the bin location table showing that that bin location is now empty.   Is there a way to do that?  The shipment table has

On the iPhone I have a table where each record represents a calendar event (gigs for my musical duo).  It used to be that I could an individual record, go to the Date field, and click Create Event and Airtable would create a calendar event in my iPhone's Calendar.  Now, clicking Create Event does nothing.  Is this a known problem?  Will it be fixed?  Is there a workaround?  Thanks for any help.Carl

HELLO COMMUNITY !CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH A REQUEST?I paid for an annual plan in the Business category on November 29, 2023, in the period that covered November 2023 and November 2024 and was surprised with the downgrade of my plan to free and a charge of 500 dollars of which I am unaware of the origin. because I did the payment of a editor for my base, payed a annual plan, and the airtable team block my base asking for a 2nd paying to another editor, but I had only 1 EDITOR in my base!The airtable team downlograde my plan to free, this situation is exposing my business to very serious exposure and causing me enormous losses. [AND A QUESTION, HOW THE FREE PLAN CAN HAVE 5 EDITORS? YOU PAY FOR USE THE PLAN BUSINESS, AND HAVE ONLY 1 EDITOR? ITS DONT MAKE SENSE !]

 Why change the plans to then hamstring what is already in existence? With the plan changes, the 'pro' plan that we were paying for has now been downgraded significantly. It's really annoying to be using the 'top' plan and for that plan to be degraded, and we lose functionality on our bases. They are forcing us to immediately upgrade or we can't do our work. Can't add new records. Why HALF the storage from those plans? That seems wild to me. Keep them the same at the very least. We can now get more storage, for three times the price. Or, you can keep the former 'pro' plan and only get 10gb. In what world does that make sense? There are no tiers to this setup, it's either all or nothing. And what grinds my gears more is there isn't a transition period for those who have been on the pro plan to figure this out. It's just, 'changes made, so deal with it and pay us more to use AT.' Is there a way to soften the blow for tho
