Hello everyone, I have encountered some problems in recent days with basic copies between accounts. I work on a basis for clients from my Airtable account. They copy it to their account and there, yay: automations are not copied, only interfaces and tables and new: all my buttons with links to database forms with prefill are not dynamic. So when they enter a form, it puts the information... on the basis of my account I don't know if you've ever had this problem, or if it's normal? I used the prefill forms extension. I saw that the creator published last year about update issues but she wrote that Airtable had updated. I reloaded the extension, deleted and reinstalled and it still doesn't work. In my interfaces, I put buttons that send to base form URLS. And in the copy, it keeps my URLs to me. Is there no way for these urls to be dynamic between database copies on different accounts?

 I'm looking for the best way to copy a base to another account. When someone finishes training we would like to give them a copy of a base and want an easy way to do this. This is what I've tried: Option 1: Share the base with them via email or a linkProblem: This would be fine except it is possible to see all other accounts that have had access to this i.e. all their email addressesOption 2: Share the base publiclyProblem: Doesn't copy automations (an possibly other features)Does anyone have a better way ? Hi,I would like to use Airatble to support my work in prioritizing a list of items.  I would like to be able to drag-and-drop items (records) up and down a list to show items higher in the list are higher priority.Then... I would like to be able to look at different views within the same table and still see the items in priority order.Scenario:I have a table called "Product Ideas".  The table currently has 100 items on it.I have a view I call "Prioritized View"... in that view, I see all 100 items, and I have put them in the order of priority. Row 1 is the top priority, and row 100 is the lowest priority.I have a second view called "Status View". Hello! We have a small video production studio that has enough people to need a better solution to check out equipment. We set up a table with all of our inventory and a separate table that has all of our tasks. In the task table, we set up an equipment checkout form that allows has all the equipment categorized and available to check out. It’s the best solution that we have found so far but I feel like there has to be a better way. Currently, since the form is simply linking each item in the inventory table, they all show up as individual options, so we have to click the drop down box every, scroll, and select what we need instead every time we want to add an item in the same category. A checkbox-style set up like in a multiple select field would be the most ideal. We have a label maker that can print out barcodes readable by airtable, so what if I can somehow set up a form/table/view that we can keep open in the equipment room and use a barcode scanner (we’re looking at the Tera Barc

Hello all!I use airtable e.g. for recording and analyzing event data. In event data i have "start" date and time, and "end" date and time.When I set the filter "the past number of days" (e.g. 30 days) to the event data, it would appear that the current day + 30 previous days are included.Today (10/6/2023) when I apply that example filter, the events of 9/6/2023 are included, even though the current day + 30 days have passed since thenIs this the way it's supposed to work or am I doing something wrong?

Hello all! I am trying to figure out if it is possible to use a regular spreadsheet view to input data and then use that view to export to a custom template PDF/CSV/Form. For example, I have a master list I am trying to see if I can export into two separate custom templates. One would be for client information and the other would be for our information. I am looking to see if I could create two custom templates that certain fields would be linked to the master list. Those fields would only export to the template that I have chosen to export to. All of the information will be pulled from one master record and exported to different custom templates.

It is essential for my job to be able to collect data with multilingual forms, but then aggregate the results in the same answer field. For the survey part, Airtable allow very conveniently to reformulate the questions in the form view in as many languages as I want, and that is a no brainer.Where the things get complicated is when the survey includes a single or a multiple choice question.For the single choice, I've found a very practical solution:Insert all the possible answers in all the languages in a single choice field, then generate as many form as the languages and for each one filter out all the answers that are not in the correct language. Integration with make.com + airtableI want to automate posting on different social media channels based on information in an Airtable database. After each successful post, I want to update a status column in Airtable to reflect which social media platform the post is live on.The issue I'm facing is that the status column keeps getting overwritten, so only the latest post's status is shown, instead of all the platforms the post is live on.I've tried using this command:{{merge(6.Live Status; add(emptyarray; "Live - FB"))}}The command works when there's pre-existing data in the Airtable cell BEFORE the router. However, it fails to recognize the updated status created after the router for each post. It seems to only read the Airtable data from before the router was introduced.Can anyone help? see attached screenshot for the scenario. Thanks

We are looking using a Timeline or perhaps Gantt to assess producer workload at a glance. I have a Gannt and Timeline working at a basic level but need additional detail.I would like our team to input milestone dates into the base spreadsheet for each project line, to have those milestones show and update in the project blocks in Timeline/Gantt. Is there a way to include Milestones from date columns in a spreadsheet?Thanks

My base is gone along with my spreadsheet. I emailed the support team a few days ago. Haven't heard back yet. Any idea how long it typically takes to hear back?

Hi, I need help. I logged into my account and my spreadsheet is gone. I believe it was link to a team account which was deactivated which may have erased my spreadsheet ?! Is there anyway I can retrieve it ? I don’t see any options in my account portal. 

Hi Everyone, Is there an automated way to combine 3 lines into one? The context is that, we will have 3 different persons filling in 3 different forms to feed into the same table, but want to combine them into a single line. Dedupe is OK but we will need to do this 1800 times :frowning: And of course, there are a lot more columns than shown above. Thanks.

Hi there, i just subscribed to the Team plan using 96$ of credit that i had stored from the last few years.My question is, when my plan will be automatically renewed next year, will Airtable consider the credit that i will have by that time?Example:i subscribed today (09th February 2024) to teams, my credits are now 0$.If i will have 50$ in credit on the 09th February 2025, will Airtable use the credit to renew the plan, or i will pay the full amount?If i will pay the full amount, what if a unsubscribe and the subscribe again (as in the subscription phase i have been asked to use my credit as part of the payment)? Thank you for enlightening me

Hello,Yesterday I realized that I don't have a backup of my many bases.Quite worried, I then looked for a solution. And found out: Almost all of them are quite expensive, and some of them seemed awkward to handle.Now I would like to know how important it is to have a local data backup?Is it really possible for my data to suddenly disappear one morning? Perhaps due to some error on the part of Airtable, San Francisco?Or is all data backed up redundantly several times, as some providers claim? So secure that you don't have to be afraid?Marceting

Anyone have experience removing someone from a workspace, then adding them back to a base? Will that erase timestamp, commenting, etc? I basically have everyone in a workspace and 75% of them are editors of that workspace. However, I need no one but myself to control entire workspace and all its members have access to only the bases they are assigned to. Thanks

Hello everyone, I have a base in which I have defined tasks with a start date and a deadline. Both dates are calculated from the start date of an event and a number X days before the event starts.In three cases the tasks have to start after the start date of the event which is why I used a negative number. Hi Experts!My goal is to create an image carousel in HTML/CSS to embed in a website in order to view the image uploaded in an attachment field for each record. Something like Airbnb image gallery. The number of photos may vary so it must be flexible.I'm currently using Softr to display my item details in Airtable but the options to show images are poor and not very UX friendly. But I can embed code. I already do that with embedded YouTube videos and google maps.Right now I'm thinking to build a html code + CSS iframe with make.com that is feeded with Airtable attachments with the iterator block, and then copy to in a rich text field for each record, but I'll need a CSS HTML5 developer.Any other ideas on how to implement this?Thanks a lot for any suggestion!

Hi there ! :grinning: I’m very very new here, on Airtable, so to begin gently, I’ve come up with the idea to build a DB regrouping all the info I have on the pets I lived with (dead and alive). But I’ve got a DATETIME_DIFF() formula difficulty. On my base, I’ve created kind of a summary table with all the general info concerning the pets (Species, race, gender, etc…) On this table, I’ve got a field Date of Birth (DoB) and a field Date of Death (DoD). What I would like to do is to create a field that would give me the actual age of the pet (if still alive) or the age of the pet when it died, on same table, if possible :winking_face: . Reading the help documentation and many topics here concerning the DATETIME_DIFF() formula I found this : DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(),{DoB},’years’) Which works perfectly for the actual age of the living pet. And… DATETIME_DIFF({DoD},{DoB},’years’) Which works perfectly for the age of the pet when it died. If I get it right, I would need to create a IF() nes
