I have a table that contains subscription dates using the date field. I’m trying to create a new grid view with a filter that just shows dates that fall into the current month. Seems simple, but I can’t figure it out. I can see how I can use the “is on or after” and “is on or before” operators, but I’d have to manually enter the dates each month. Am I overlooking a setting or is my ask more complicated than I assume? Thanks!

Recently, and inconsistently, when I update a field, the Chrome prompt for Update Password comes up. If I'm updating many fields, it keeps coming up. Extremely annoying to say the least. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a solution? I don't get this behavior in other browsers, but I'm pulling data from Google Drive and I find working in Chrome easiest. I've got a Windows 10 64-bit laptop with Chrome Version 117.0.5938.150.Thanks!

Hello! I’m building my online store using WooCommerce (on Wordpress.) Trying to think ahead a little bit, regarding how to manage inventory. I’ll outline some points of consideration, using numbers for the community to easily reference when responding: We have 306 product SKUs. Some SKUs are variations of a single product (e.g. we may have product X which has 8 variable combinations, thus 8 different SKUs. When someone buys one of our variable products on WooCommerce, the inventory on my site is automatically decreased by the amount of stock purchased. I would like to have this new inventory change, also take effect on my Airtable database, decreasing the stock number by the same amount purchased on my site) Another point to consider… When I place an order from my Wholesale suppliers I will get a bunch of new inventory for a variety of existing SKU’s. THIS is one of the main reasons I want to use Airtable to manage inventory… it’s so much easier than going to each product and updating

I find the Grouped view of tables very useful, but need to be able to get the data into Excel format for my board of directors. Is there any way of doing this without downloading the whole, increasingly large, table?

Hi, we are getting a "over limits" alert on the top right corner of our database screen. What does this mean and what can we do next? We are still using it to this moment and adding new data, will there be a problem in storing the data safely? Will it affect the current data (for example, get erased or moved somewhere else)? HelloI'd like to know if it's possible to trigger a post_message event when the form is submitted (this is for an embedded form). I've seen that the system is already used to manage iframe scrolling with the "airtableDisableScrollbar" post_message.Having information on whether the form has been sent (and whether it was successful or not) would be very useful for managing other events on the "parent" page on which the form appears.If this is not possible with this solution. Dear community,In the company I work for, we have a base which contains a lot of sensitive data about clients. We are currently on the Team plan. I noticed that there is no inactivity log out in Airtable. The only safety measure I could potentially take is 2FA. Although, preferrably I would have 2FA, a inactivity log out and something that makes it only possible for colleagues to log-in when they are on their work MS365 account.I see this last thing is possible with SSO, but that's only applicable for business. Since we are a foundation, that is hard to afford for about 20 employees. I hope someone in the community can help us with this security issueThanks a lot,Sid

Currently, Airtable customers can search through a directory of Airtable Service Providers https://ecosystem.airtable.com/consultants. Are there other ways for them to reach existing Airtable customers?

I have an annual Airtable payment due on December 7, 2023. I have to get prior approval for all software purchases, and I need to submit an official invoice for the approval. I can only see my past invoices (Nov. 2023 and before). Is there a way to see an invoice for an upcoming payment?This is crucial because the payment is set to go through automatically. I will get in big trouble if I allow a payment to go through without getting the pre-approval. But I can't get the pre-approval without an invoice!

We have multiple users working on our Base at the same time. Because any changes to a Table View persist across all users, we have to have personalised Table Views for each user. Otherwise users clash with each other when editing a particular Table View. This is fine, but it limits our ability to use Table Views for what they are designed for. If we want to have different Table Views for (example) different film genres. Then we need to create a Table View for every user for every film genre. We then end up with a long, unwieldy list of Table Views. There are some features that we simply don’t use because we don’t want to create more Table Views. This could be avoided by allowing users to hide Table Views that remain hidden every time they log in. That way each user could have their own personal set of Table Views.

Hi, I am using Make to upload a video file in an Airtable record, but for an unknown reason, the video gets deleted automatically as soon as it's uploaded.Has anyone experienced this, and if yes, how can I fix it ?

Unique Lookups - We have a Collections table, and a Projects table. Several individual projects will link into a single collection. Each project may have the same resources working on it, or it could be different team members. Currently lookup will pull in a name 5 times for example, instead of the same name only appearing once. Is there a way to use Lookup to only show the unique resources similar to the way Rollup Arrayunique works? I don’t like rollup because we lose color coding when doing this on single select fields and we lose notifications/automations that can happen with contact fields. I know I can run automations to watch for changes and then create a duplicate field that writes the values for the cell, but it would be nicer/safer/cleaner to not have to do that. Is there any way for this?

The result I am looking for is similar to the ARRAYUNIQUE function for a Rollup field. However, the results are a link to another table, and it seems that using a rollup can only show text results as opposed to clickable records. How can I make lookup field show only unique results, or make the unique results of a rollup field clickable?

I am trying to integrate the properties of a ticket from hubspot to create an airtable row… The problem was the properties doesn’t show on the airtable. Everything was all set and completed in husbpot. Anyone who knows how to fix this?

Are there help entries providing best practices for normalizing data?  Typically data comes in somewhat non-normalized, records with duplicate (non-unique) or empty values.  Take as an example, the following table, Grocery_Shopping:DayQtyItemTypeMon4applesfruitMon10snap beansvegetableTues13strawberries Tues6potatoesvegetableTues5kiwifruitThurs23bananasfruitThurs6bananasfruitI can manually create a unique table of Types, then manually change field type in Grocery_Shopping.type so it's linked to Types.type.  Similarly I could do the same, creating unique reference tables for Day and Item.  What many users need to a set of rules, automations, links, etc which automatically update reference tables when additional entries into Grocery_Shopping are imported.  If there is such a set of best practices, please point in their direction.  Thanks.   

Hi - There is data in one of my tables that I cannot edit because apparently I need to "Upgrade to Enterprise to edit synced tables". Can you explain what this means, and how was the data able to be entered in the first place if I've never subscribed to Enterprise (someone else actually setup the table so I don't know how it came into being)?  What are synced tables?

Our team's admin had an emergency situation and is going to be unavailable for the foreseeable future. They weren't able to unlock two forms on our website before leaving. Is there anyway we can have permissions assigned to another team member, so we can access and unlock these two forms?

Sometimes the Community is helpful in solving a problem, but sometimes we need more support than this. When I first started using Airtable, it was possible to get support  - good support! - from a human being. At this point, I can find no way to do so - the bot just takes me around in circles. (We do have a paid account). Can anyone advise on how to get support from someone at Airtable when necessary? 

The record limit will not allow me to see my task. I have the free version so I deleted some completed tasks, so I'm able to see my task list but it still will not let me see because of the limit. Please anything that could help me view this again without upgrading the service. 

This might be a super simple one, but I wasn't able to find it in the Keyboard shortcuts and it's been driving me crazy.In excel, when you are entering a sequence of cells in horizontal order (tabbing after each one), if you hit Enter/Return, you return to the place where you clicked, so you can continue entering the same sequence of cells.  In Airtable, you hit enter and it puts your cursor in the cell directly below.  So you have to hit enter again, and shift-tab back, or ctrl-left back to the very start of the row.  Oh how I long for fewer strokes to get back to where I started entering!  Anyone know the trick? Thanks! Craig

Hi everybody,I have a question regarding syncing multiple workspaces into one workspace. I then want to merge the data that is synced so that I get one database with experiments. It is constructed as follows:We now have 3 workspaces with experiments, one for email, CRO and socials. Now we want to have an overarching workspace where all experiments come together so that we have one large database. For example, we can collect all experiments from one campaign.Now I succeed in syncing a view, but it then becomes a separate tab in the overarching workspace. Is it possible to import all data into one table. Or should these be 3 tables and is it possible to merge all this data into one table so that we have one library.I'm curious if anyone knows a solution for this.Regards, Martijn

Hi all! My team has 3 tables that we use to keep track of events that have associated dates and times, including trainings, out-of-office holds, and planned travel time. I want to create a calendar view in AirTable that includes all 3 of these event types to make scheduling easier. I'm pretty sure that the only way to do this is to combine all 3 tables into a new table where I can create the views I want. What is the best way to import all of the records from those 3 separate tables into a combined table? Is there a script that I can run that will do the importing?Once the new table is created, will I need to create automations that will ensure that if a record is created or updated in the separate tables, it will be updated in the combined table? Or is there a better way to make sure that both places stay current?Thanks, I appreciate the help!
