Some interfaces are made for data entry that requires copying a lot of items, and it would be absolutely helpful to have a little Copy to clipboard button instead of highlighting text and copying multiple times. This is especially helpful if: it's a link or an email—this feature will avoid accidentally clicking on them if done manually it's an editable field that usually requires copying than editing—this feature will avoid mistakenly editing the entry As my suggestion title implies, this is a toggle, allowing Interface designers to show or hide this option. It can also show up when hovered.

Can you please provide an alert that will warn me (notification or email or both) if there is an excessive run of Automations. Recently I had an error in my formula. Unfortunately that error caused an Automation to run constantly and it was running for hours, I don’t know how long but after a day or so I ran out of the 50,000 automations. That was completely unnecessary and I would have stopped by fixing the formula (or pausing automation and then fixing formula). Anyhow, I would say there should be a warning if I am reaching 50%, 75% and 90% of allocated automations. I am not asking Airtable to kick me off the grid and disable those Automations completely, but rather warn me about the situation. That would save resources on Airtable servers and prevent me running dry and then have to wait till the months is over to get replenished again. I know Airtable provides higher plan upgrade but I think in this case this is all just wasted electricity 😉

Today I hit my maximum number of automations which is 25 in case you are unaware as I was. It would be great if there was a way to upgrade that number with a fee. Or if the limit was a bit higher. Of if there was a "you have x number automations left’ message so I wasn’t to be caught unaware.
Unfortunately my master plan of fully automating my use cases cannot be implemented as I had hoped. I’ll figure out a work around but I have to admit I am severely disappointed.

Maybe Zapier has spoiled me, but it would be really nice to get a little more granular detail on our automation runs within our bases/workspaces. Right now, the only way to see any form of metadata re: automations is to go to individual automation’s run history, or to have admin privileges and see how many runs are left in your quota for that exact live billing period/month. I know it’s probably out of scope for this product to offer as granular of detail on these things as Zapier, but being able to look at run quantities from previous months/billing periods, or being able to see which automations are using most of the runs we have allocated would be really really nice from an operational standpoint!

I would suggest that form submissions that include attachments should also be able to (optionally) include those attachments in the automated emails that get sent out.

To whom it may concern, An enhancement suggestion from Kalypso: Add ability to export/import Automation configurations Expected Benefits: Reduce manual effort to duplicate automations Example when this would be used as follows: Template enhancement is requested to add an automation Multiple, existing bases created from that template need to be updated to add that automation I do understand referenced tables, fields, etc. from the bases would need to match for the import to be successful There is a related submission on this topic but I don't think adding the capability was specifically requested. What is the proposed idea/solution? A Project Archive Feature to make it easy to 'deactivate and hide a project when certain criteria are met. An archived project would be grayed-out, hidden completely everywhere in the base or moved into an Archive Table. It would no longer affect any rollups or calculated fields. To make it active again, the user goes to Archive settings, click 'Show Archived Projects' then changes the criteria back to active. How does is solve the user problems? Current solutions only hide the project from view. it is still active and you need to consciously filter it from view everywhere in the base. Or you need to manually copy the project to an Archive table and delete from active which is tedious. How was this validated? No validation has been performed. Who is the target audience? Project managers with multiple projects that have a lot of fields/data. Their organization is known to pause or cancel a project and re-activate it again at a later date. Or they simply want to save old projects for reference.

I think it is time for Airtable to add recursive capabilities to data inside a table. I know it is challenging to implement, but the workaround users have been doing are truly not delivering the intentions and expected experience. It just feels limited not to be able to create subtasks, goals and subgoals, accounting systems, etc. There are so many ideas that would be finally unlocked and it would definitely take Airtable to a whole new level!

Emails sent through AUTOMATIONS are double-spaced. It looks awful. Why is it done this way? I also think that the emails coming out of AUTOMATIONS should offer some conditional coding. For example, if the value of A is ‘x’ then display field B, otherwise display field C. I know I can handle that with an AirTable field that contains the value I want to display but I end up with sooooo many fields in AirTable. In fact, I already had to create several ‘automations-related’ fields strictly because of lookup fields. Another idea would be to allow more formatting options within the email message. Why not offer color or highlighting or underlining?
