I am glad each table in a base has one key column that must be unique (needed for relational databases), but instead of making this uniqueness requirement only available to the key column, please make this setting available to other fields also.
Some discussion on this topic has already been made (see Unique values in a column), but was listed under “Support” instead of “feature request”.

When you complete work on a table or a tab, sometimes you want to keep it as a record of the pass, but no longer need it for day-to-day operations.
For larger projects where many tables may be created, having the ability to archive tables that are no longer under active use would be a great way to promote base health, and to make jumping into a new base less scary.

Hello Community, I’ve had a bit of an idea. At our company, we have tables that can have up to 30-40 columns in them, especially on the “summary” or “master” tables, where data is assembled from other tables. This can get very confusing. What If we could group similar columns together in a similar way we group rows? Color-coded, collapsible, and individually shareable. It could be quite powerful. Thoughts?

I'd like to request that Interfaces get the same sharing options the rest of the base gets - specifically the ability to share publicly without someone having to have an account/base access to see it. If you can do this in a base, you should be able to do it in the Interface, which is theoretically designed for sharing. This is a feature I've seen numerous people request - just adding my voice to it. It would transform our workflow, and currently, this is the only thing Smartsheet has on Airtable in my mind. I can't convince the rest of our team to transition to Airtable if we don't have this feature.

The collaborator field is great. Is there any plan to allow dynamic filtering based on this column? E.g. when collaborator contains [me]?
Use case: I’ve got a team issues register using SharePoint. The default view shows the user only those records where their name (based on authenticated user account) is contained in a collaborator column.
I’d like to transition to Airtable, but would need to give users a “My Items” view where they can see only records which contain them as a collaborator, without the user being required to apply a filter themselves.

It would be great if it was possible to FORMAT TEXT (fonts, colors, bold, italics), CELLS (left, right, center alignment, background colors), and BORDERS (bold or dashed lines, colors) within tables. The ability to add extra header lines and/or to FREEZE more cells vertically and horizontally would help, too.
I really like the idea of Airtable, but can’t effectively use it over Excel until it has more functionality.

Just wanted to cross post this in the correct forum since it’s not a feature I couldn’t find but a feature that doesn’t exist yet.
It would be nice if we could change the display field of a table to be something other than the primary key field.

I think it would be nice to have the option to hyperlink with different text showing, like any basic HTML hyperlinking. Like I can even do in this forum if I needed to.
Visually, having the url just there isn’t appealing.
