First-off, thank you for Calendar View!!!
It is great for tracking things like the drop-dead artwork release date for a bunch of jobs. But it’s not so great for tracking multiple dates associated with just one record.
Would you consider (or are you developing) a single-record/multi-field calendar view? Something like that would be MUCH more useful for calendarizing complex project management schedules with individual deliverables (like say a printed catalog or photo shoot).
As always, thanks!
A.

What is the proposed idea/solution? When importing data to a base from, for example a CSV, it would be extremely useful to be able to set static values on some columns. Eg: I'm importing bank statement data and I would like to manually set the bank account name in a column as I'm importing. Eg: I would like to give an ID to this import so I know all the rows which were imported. How does is solve the user problems? Saves time having to do it later and also possibly losing the How was this validated? In my brain. Who is the target audience? Everyone who imports data

When we load up a specific view, specifically one where we’ve already pre-determined how we’d like it to be grouped and sorted, it doesn’t make sense why we would have to click the “Sort” button and hit ‘apply’ every time in order to update the sort view.
Can we make this a dynamic process where when the view loads, it automatically looks at the sort and ‘applies’ those settings right away?
Please and Thank you!

This is a small styling suggestion to prettify the linked field pointing to a checkbox field in another table. The linked field has no styling option and all it shows is a tiny easy to overlook and boring grey check-mark. Could use some more style options similar to the actual checkbox field.

We use the main table (authors) and we have a linked field to another table (books). If we don’t have an appropriate option (book) in the table we can create a new record of the book from the field in the author table. But, strangely and surprisingly, when we try to do the same thing through form, it is not possible. There is no option for creating a record in form mode (the plus “+” sign doesn’t exist). This feature with control in permission for that (not in all fields you want to allow that kind of adding) is very important for our work.
Questions about that feature asked in the past, so you can see that this is an existing issue:
Filling form - create a new record in linked table
Unable to Add NEW Record on a Junction Table Form Field
Can I put an "add a new record button" into a form to populate a row in my Customer table
Many thanks!

What is the proposed idea/solution? .As an CRO specialist i calculate the significance of test in google sheets and google analytics data. If: 1. Airtable was able to integrate GA4 end retrieve users and events and 2. offer a test-result Bayesian calculator then i would not have to exit the platform and use different tools to calculate significance of experiments. How does is solve the user problems? Users can calculate significance of test with traffic from google analytics or even ab-tasty. How was this validated? I have encountered the problem in several companies. Who is the target audience? CRO specialists and experimenters

I understand the conditions you don’t allow - referencing record links in primary field formulas - but it it far too limiting. This is a huge, very frustrating issue for me. I’ve gone at length looking at solutions to get around it, but honestly, they’re all so much more data entry and work that it’s not worth the time or effort.
All I want is for the record name, in other tables, to be searchable and addable by a formula-able name, or there’s no point. And I’m never trying to do anything that would create a circular reference anyway. (That I’m aware of)
It would make things so much simpler if you just threw an error in the field when it tried to calculate and it actually created a circular reference, instead of refusing any situation that might possibly create one.
Please?
If not… I need a simple solution/tutorial, that actually fits those needs, and doesn’t require 6 records for every record I want entered and searchable on other tables by a formula-based name.

Is there a way to be able to allow only certain user levels to view certain blocks dashboards?
Example: “Editors” could see one dashboard, read-only users could only see another dashboard, etc.
And to even delve further, allow dashboards to filter information based on single-select fields.
Example: I have an employee status as “NEW HIRE”, then they would be able to see the “NEW HIRE DASHBOARD” that would include company training videos, links to other onboarding sites, etc.?

I’m hoping this is the easiest feature request you’ve ever gotten!
All I want is to send form notification emails to other members of my team.
For example: I use a form to collect info so we can book airline reservations for our presenters. I want to notify a team member when a new form comes in so they can book the flight. I don’t want this team member to have edit access – and I think that’s the only current way to get them the notification email (they edit the form and select “email me”).
So in the screenshot below, in addition to the “email me” option, I’d like to see an “email team member” option.
