Hello everybody,I am experiencing issues running an automation script. Basically, I have created an automation that sends information to a webhook link. My issue arises during the step where the information is sent to the webhook link—I am encountering challenges here. I created one variable, which I then implemented in the code using the configuration provided by Airtable, but it does not work as expected.What happens is that if I run the same script without the variable, it works, eventhood i use thes same script for the variables (see attached photo). To sum up: it’s the same script in both scenarios. When the variable is present in the left column, the script does not work. However, when the variable is not present, the script functions correctly.

Hi there,I'm documenting a base I'm building. So I'm wondering which identifier quoting characters to consistently use to refer to bases, tables, and fields.I'm hesitating between backticks ``and curly brackets {}for fields, and I'm at a loss on what to choose for bases and tables.Any idea?Thanks.

Hi there,I need to create 3 forms that are pretty much exactly the same, but the link for each is inserted into a different flyer which is going to three different groups of people - each form is then linked to an automation which will catagorise the respondent for us so we know which form they have filled out. The problem is the 3 forms need to have exactly the same display name, but I want to differentiate them by name in my base view, which I am unable to do at present. Does anyone have a solution?Thanks!

How do i create a field or metric that shows the time it took to complete a project. for example, tracking the difference from the start date to the date when the project was marked as complete or from in progress to complete. I want to ignore all the other statuses e.g. not started, blocked etc.Is this possible? Reason i ask is to track this in a dashboard for average project completion time.

I have a base that has multiple tables for planning our annual conference. We collected proposals using a form view (Call for Proposals table), which includes fields for speakers (Speaker 1 Name, Speaker 1 Email, Speaker 2 Name, Speaker 2 Email, etc).    I am using FillOut for outside folks to update their submission. I am trying to pull the data for all speakers (Name and Email) into one streamlined table (Speaker Management). So how do I get Amy, Jessica, Miranda, Kristy all in one field with their email in another in a new table called Speaker Management? It should automatically update if changes are made to the original fields in Call for Proposals. This was there is always an up to date list of who our speaker contacts are. It would be nice if you could make an item on a calendar appear taller/larger like how you can with rows in a grid. Is there already a way to do this?Example below, would be more readable if the items were larger especially if toggled in the week or day settings 

I've created an interface for my team that displays a Gallery of active projects from our Projects table.  I want them to add/remove projects from that interface without having to go the the data.  The option to "Allow users to add/delete records inline" sounds great, except for:The popup looks like a form, but there is no submit and the new record is already created.  Confusing.Where do I go to delete the record?The pop-up only shows the fields I chose to display in the Gallery, I really want all fields.  Otherwise, the user has to create a new record with a few fields and then re-edit it to see all of the fields.I've hacked my way around #2 by adding a Button to the detail page that deletes the record.  Not great, but OK.My hack for #1 and #3 is to replace the option with another button that has a hard link to a Form I created.  That form then has a hard link to redirect back to the interface after wai

I can't seem to get labels to appear on my scatter plot even when hovering over the points. I am trying to plot leaf length and head weight for varieties, I'd like to be able to label the points with what variety they represent.

Hi guys, I'm building a CRM on Airtable. That CRM has a form to add new contacts. This form boasts 2 linked record fields: a `Contacts` field and a `Main Contact` field. I would like the `Main Contact` field to be dynamically filtered so that it displays only the contacts that were previously added by the user in the `Contacts` field. I've been trying to get this, but with no luck. I don't think that's possible as of yet in Airtable. Do you confirm this? I know I could execute this with Fillout, but I'm trying to stay within Airtable as much as possible.Thanks.

Hi guys, I don’t know if the title is clear. So here’s some context. I am currently using Airtable as a CRM. Thus, I have 3 important Tables : Leads, Unpaid Leads and Clients. As of now, people can pre-subscribe to my service (not open yet). When filling the form, they will go to “Leads”. Once the service will open, I will manually validate them to send them a form for Subscription. If they fill the form, they will go to “Unpaid Leads”. If they do not, they will stay in Leads and receive a followup at D+3. If they do fill the subscription form, I’d like to erase them from “Leads” in order not to follow up with them if not needed. Do you know if there is a script for that ? Or anyway to work around it ? If there isn’t, is there a script that can help me update the status in the 1st Table when a form is submitted in the 2nd one ? PS: FI, I first wanted to keep everything in the same Table ‘Lea

I am building for the following scenario and need help to understand a few things1. I have a master table that has the main data (Name, Email id, etc) 2. There is another table with a field (Name) that is linked to the name field in the master table.3. I designed an interface to delete a record from the master table. 4. Now when I see the linked field in the second table, it has disappeared as it should be. However, the entire record does not get deleted. 5. So currently I have added a check column in the second table to check if the Name field is present or missing and am running an automation through Make to delete the entire record for the second table.I wanted to know if this is possible through airtable automation itself instead of creating an automation through another tool. Also if this is possible to run the automation through an interface. Thanks

Hi. Thanks in advance for any help.I am importing a  CSV file out of another application that exports a field in a currency format. ($X,XXX.XX). I've created a currency field in Airtable to import it into, but AT always ignores it.So, I ended up exporting to Excel, changing that field to a number without a dollar sign and that allowed me to import it into the AT currency field.  However, I'd like to avoid this step and go directly from the exported CSV into AT without messing with Excel.I assumed this meant that Airtable wasn't recognizing it as a currency or number and wouldn't move it into the currency field. So, I thought I'd create a text field to import it into, then create a formula field to make it what I need it to be, but it won't import it into a text file either.Not sure why this is so difficult for me.  Any ideas welcome. Hello all, I created a form, and one of the field values needs to be "1" as the default value. However, I need that hidden so that when someone goes to submit data, they don't have to fill that field in as "1".Now this is what I have:I tried hiding this field from the form options listed, but when I go to submit this form - it doesn't display a "1" in the field value on the table view. I also tried this method on the table view:When I go to create a record on the table view - it does default the value to "1", but on form submission - it does not. Any idea what it is that I'm doing wrong?Thanks.

Trying to create a form I click “add a field to this table” I see under “Single line text” (type of field the words “A single line of text. You can optionally prefill each new cell with a default value.” see attached that’s what I want to do but can’t figure out how to actually do that? TIA for any ideas here…

Our team uses airtable to track orders and get through a large list of records each day. I have a view setup that removes a record when a box is checked (completed) so we only see what's left to work on. Our records are grouped by client and some clients have multiple records. Due to the filter, as you click the checkbox on 1 record it disappears from the list which only allows you to click one at a time. Any solution you could think of to select all the records in one grouping and bulk edit them to "checked"?

I have 1 large airtable with jobs that I sync to airtable bases of clients in the same workspace.Now they should not be able to edit these jobs, so that's perfect.However, within that tab I want them to be able to add other jobs they might have, only for their use. How can I do this? I cannot see any way of doing this, and I don't want it to be a two-way sync, as those jobs should only visible for them. Ideally in the same tab as the other non-editable jobs. Is there a workaround?In some other tab they can link jobs to applicants with a linked record. I want that to still be the same job tab, otherwise It would not work well (if I have them make jobs in a different job tab)...Any workaround or creative wizardry?

Have a deal with a company to lower their costs on segments and get a cut per segment. The commission is based on costs cut which vary by segment. As I’m working through them one by one, the commission start dates are different per account.How can I set up a system that will take a commission start date and make a new record for every month from start date up until current month.Would like for this to work retroactively, meaning if the date was April 2024 it should automatically create records from April up until today, and a new record per segment for every future month automatically. 

Hi all, I am importing JSON into Airtable and parsing it into fields using REG_EXTRACT.Some of the JSON data are blocks of text that have "\n" (without the quotes) in place of carriage returns. Airtable treats the \n as text rather than carriage returns in the output of the REG_EXTRACT function.How can I replace the \n text characters with actual carriage returns?

Hello all!I’m working with an interface in Airtable where each record has a side panel that opens when I click on it, showing more information related to that record. When I click the link button at the top-right corner of the panel, I get a unique URL that directs me to that record with the side panel already opened, were I to paste it into a new window or share with a colleague.For example, each record has a unique detail parameter in the URL that seems to encode both the record ID and other information. I’ve tried creating a formula to dynamically generate these URLs based on the RECORD_ID(), but I can't figure out how to replicate the exact structure of the detail parameter that opens the side panel view for each record. I've used AI to try and help, but the best solution proposed so far is manually entering each URL into the field.... I’d like to show a single calculated column of data (field 2) in an embedded table without the primary field (field 1). I recognise that I can’t hide the primary field within Airtable - but in the iframe code? Is there any way via: html creating a linked table and embedding that some other solution? Help please!
