I am struggling to connect Airtable to PowerBI and was wondering if anyone was able to accomplish this?Here are my steps following the write-up from here: Sending Airtable Data to Microsoft Power BI & Power Query | Airtable SupportOpen Blank Report in PowerBISelect Get Data > Blank queryFrom Home Tab click on Manage Parameters > New Parameter.Add the NameType > Select TextSuggested Value > Any ValueCurrent Value > Enter Token ID      This is done for PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN, BASE_ID and TABLE_IDPlease note, TABLE_ID was taken from the URL as marked in red below

I have a base that has client names in a table and appointment date on another table that is linked to the specific client. I am trying to create a formula in the client table that will display the last appointment for that that client that was scheduled and another formula field that will display the next appointment date for that client. When I try to create a formula to look at the linked appointment date table from clients, it says it can't be calculated because it's not a date. Is there any way to make this work, which I am missing? Thanks in advance.

I have two tables Projects and Approvals. Projects are "approved" through an approval form that feeds entries to the Approval table. I have setup an approval form that dynamically pre-populates a record identifier in the URL from the Projects table. I have setup an automation to run when a new entry appears in Approvals table When I test the Find Records step using the dynamic Record Identifier filed from the form - the test shows me 0 results. But if I copy/paste the same record id and use the static mode - it returns 1 result correctly The automation ALSO works when it is Live - I'm just not able to use the testing function as it always returns 0 results. Any ideas please? 

I've been searching airtable forums off and on and yet I can't find a solution that clearly explains what I need to do to achieve my desired results.With the search extension, I have configured the extention to search all tables and sometimes it works fine and other times I get a spinning ball where the search never seems to conclude and fails to reverting anything, even when I search on a known preexisting record. I have tried closing and reopening my browser, closing and reopening airtable, opening airtable in a different browser. Sometimes it starts working again and sometimes nothing I do works until seemingly randomly it starts working again. Any solutions, Work arounds?PS: I have roughly 11,000 records, working via Mac OS and I truly need the global search feature to work (and suspect I might not be the only one experiencing this issue).

Hello, I am looking for fairly simple workflow: User fills a from User Receives an email with a file with their answers with some minimal formating Airtable has a page designer that has some bare bones features that are sufficient for my use case. On my action “Send email” I would love to be able to select my attachment as a “page designer PDF” form the same record. All the parts are there but I just cant see the integration between apps and actions. Am I blind? It really looks like I am missing it rather than it being missing. P.S. Formstack has an app that generates PDF into an file type fields but I can’t find a way to tiger it on new record creation…

Hi! I’m new with integromat coming from Zapier. I have one scenario (zap in Zapier) with the following workflow: Webhook > Find Airtable record >Find/create a Gdrive folder > Create a google doc from template > Update record in airtable > Upload file in gdrive using export link from google docs I’m trying to replicate the same workflow in integromat and I was able to accomplish until updating record in airtable but when it comes to uploading a file using an export link from google docs it churns out a file.html document and not a pdf file. Below are screenshots of my workflow in integromat. Looking for any guidance on how I can make this work?

Hi guys!I have a free AT plan, because I currently lost my job. At my last job I had Business plan.Currently I'm working on automatically creating PDF inside AT. I have google docs, connected with DocsAutomator, and I want to create PDF once one field is updated. I have one form for holiday request. Once employee submit it, I receive the email with the request. I can either approve or deny it (with webhooks in Make.com). Once i approve it, the record in AT is updated (in Make.com) and then I want that PDF to create itself. This was possible in my previous job, because we had paid plan.Is there any way to automate this? Maybe with some other tool that I can use and automate it make somehow? Thanks for your help!

I am currently using the page designer app and I am trying to export to PDF using print > save as PDF because I cannot find an actual export button. Unfortunately, when I open the PDF, it’s an absolute mess of formatting and cryptic symbols. Any advice on how to export to PDF correctly?

Hi, I read a lot of questions about this topic, but they are really old, so maybe something is changed ( I hope :pray: ). Is there a way to send the document I created in the page designer extension straight to the attachment field rather than manually downloading it and uploading it to the Attachment field? I don’t have a big budget to pay for external services, but I have a lot of pdf to manage (more than 5k). Thank you

We are using airtable as a database for some of our raw materials. However, when we receive a raw material order we have to fill out this PDF document for compliance with regulations. I can add the form to a record as an attachment, but the form is not able to be filled out using this method. There is a new form for each record. We are using an iPad in the manufacturing floor to manage all of this.

Is there a way to create a multiple select options via scripting blocks? I would have though if you set a field to a new option that doesn’t exist it would create it but doesn’t seem to be the case

I have a table with a list of Products, with various details about the them.I have a linked table with the products' prices.The reasoning behind the decision to separate the two is that the prices change from time to time, and for different sales channels, the prices vary.I'd like to set an automated email that is fired when a new product price record is created.The email should include a grid table that shows:The records of the current and previous prices of the relevant product.I'd like to pull not only all the prices of the same product, but to also include some conditions.For example: all the filtered records should be the prices in the same country (e.g. Germany, or the United States).Please recommend the best practice to configure this requirement.

Trying to work through how I might accomplish this. We are using airtable to store some QC records which eventually have to be passed to an owner and would not be able to live in airtable forever. Table 1 would have the relevant "items" and then tables 2-5 for example would have different types of qc records related to the item(s) in table 1. Table 2 might be paint QC that is for a particular area (1-1 relationship to table 1) whereas table 3 might be a daily report that could cover activity for multiple locations (1-many relationship to table 1). Each record in tables 2-5 would have a PDF attachment of 1 or more pages.What I'm trying to think about doing is running a script/automation/something that would grab all of the PDF attachments, compile then together by report type, then create a table of contents and add hyperlinks in the PDF that match the linking structure in the base. I've watched several videos, and read the documentation. They all say to append "?prefill_MemberID=12345" to the end of the URL for my form. But I'm trying to use the new interfaces, and I'm pretty sure this does not work. I've verified it works in the old forms. But when I 'upgrade' my form to the new interface designer, it stops working. 

Hi,I'm pretty new at managing users in Airtable. I have downgraded a number of user accounts from "Editor" to "Viewer." However, many of them have regained "Editor" status, within a day of the downgrade.Are users getting some kind of notification when I downgrade them?Are there likely mechanisms for the users to regain Editor status?Are there reasonable ways to control for the Editor status, so that our number of Editor (aka billable) users is manageable?Thanks, and have a good day,Joe Montibello

I have a gallery view of event participants embedded on our web site. On the card view, one particular field is followed by a big extra space - see right after the 'City, State' field in the screenshot here:This extra space does not appear when you click on the card to see the record detail:The only difference in the data is that the 'City, State' field is a formula, combining two fields with a comma. But, I don't know why that would display an extra line in the gallery card. Any ideas?

I have a database with two tables connected in a one-to-many schema. I built an interface with two pages, and I would like to link them using filters so that when the user clicks a button in the parent page, the child interface page with childrens data opens, filtered by the selected parent. Is there a way to implement this natively or through a URL?

Hi All!Been looking around for a solution to be able to select multiple dates on a form.Knowing that a date field can't support selecting multiple dates I've created a table that has all the dates within the calendar year as records and then am using a linked record field to allow them to be added to the form.The challenge is it's a dropdown that I can only select 1 at a time. I was testing to see if holding CMD or SHFT or OPT might unlock a multiple select ability on the dropdown but no go.For another workflow I created an interface page that allowed checking a box next to desired records and an automation to update a targeted record with the selected POST the form being submitted and creating the target record but that would be clunky for this workflow.Any other suggestions?

I have created a List view with Nested Levels enabled.  The data displayed is good for the nested Field, but I need it to display the data in another area as well.Data.  I have a  Level build like this: Am creating a martial arts curriculum and need certain skills to show in the belts they are learned.  So there are base skills and then "series" that those skills are used in.  The base skill is learned in one belt, but put together in the "series" in the next belt.  By using this nesting I can nicely get the "Series" to show the nested skills under it:But as you see in the last column, those nested values need also to be shown under the Yellow belt, but do not currently.  Is there a simple way to get them to sh

It appears that I am not the sole individual encountering this perplexing issue, as evidenced by numerous prior discussions on the matter. Our organization has been utilizing Airtable for a duration exceeding four years, and we are eager to transition to the Enterprise tier to accommodate our growing capacity needs. Regrettably, my efforts in submitting the contact form on multiple occasions—at least four thus far—have yielded no response.I find myself perplexed, as I would readily invest resources into resolving this predicament, should the opportunity arise.Has anyone among you managed to successfully navigate this transition, or does it seem that Airtable is consistently unresponsive to inquiries of this nature? Your shared experiences would be invaluable.

Hi I'm quite new to Airtable, I've created two bases and now I've realised I would benefit from all the tables being in one base. Is it possible to transfer a table tab from one base to another? (incl vews/formula/field types)  i can copy and paste but would mean i would lose all of the views and have to start from scratch... Thank you!Sarah  

I have the following script to create records in a table. Event Name is a Single Select field. But I get an error "Error: Field "...." cannot accept the provided value." await passTable.createRecordAsync({ "Event Name": event, "Event Date/Time": date, "Notes": notes, }); }  I tried:  "Event Name": [{name: event.toString()}] and "Event Name": [{name: event)}]  but neither of them work. Any suggestions? 

Hi! I am trying to take my formula field (that is super long because it is a prefilled form) and make it into a hyperlink in automated emails. I have tried using the [words](formula), but it does not seem to be working. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!
