Hello,My organization has developed a great app in Airtable for our really unique use case (context at the bottom). The functionality of the app is really, really great. The user interface design and usability is poor and is now causing problems, and I'd like help improving the user interface.The biggest problem is that we have so many different datapoints that we need to access, that our "Grid View" tables are too wide, so we can't see all the information at one time that we need to see. How can I transform my Airtable user interface into something that's really helpful and usable? Hello --I am interested in developing a formula to assign ID's to a series of payments based on type of payment, date, and information on payee's name. This is for tracking payments in a program that is pairing experienced mentors with mentees.There are various payment categories (Mentor Initial Payment, Mentor Final Payment, Mentee Stipend Payment), the year in which the mentorship in question started, the name of the mentor, and the name of the mentee(s) that I would like to integrate. I'm hoping to develop something where if this was a Mentor Initial Payment to John Smith for mentoring Joe Boggs and Jane Doe in 2024, based on values in the Payment Table (payment type and date), linked records Mentor table (First and Last Name of Mentor), and linked records in the mentee table (First and Last Name of Mentee or Mentees), a unique payment would auto calculate producing something like MIP_2024_JS_JBJD.The first part is obvious to me (IF function), I'v

 Hey there. I came soooo close to getting a working formula for what I was trying to achieve but fell at the last hurdle.I have a date field and a number field from a lookup. I am trying to create a formula that gives me a new date based on the the date field and the plus or minus number in the lookup number field. I am using this formula currently which is working and showing the new dates correctly.DATEADD(Date, VALUE(Deadline&""),'days')  I am trying to update this formula so that it only takes into account workdays but anytime I also try to add this, I get an error in my formula field:WORKDAY(DATEADD(D

Both reside in the Contract LU table.I have been using the above simple formula in invoicing successfully for quite a while. I recently had to create a pro rated  invoice for the first time, so I could not use the formula as is.My approach at the moment is to create a checkbox field for pro rated invoices if it is pro rated. To use it I need to be able to write a formula that allows me to enter a pro rated amount if the pro rated checkbox is checked or to allow the original formula to continue if it is not checked.First, is this the best way to do this? Dear community,How wonderful would it be to have the functions of: https://track.toggl.com/timer in Airtable. I would love to be able to activate the current Airtable time tracker per project (start, pause and stop) in an interface and get reports per project, sum of all projects, per week, per month per year. And be able to manually override (because it occasionally happens that I am working on a project and forgot to set my toggle timer...).I have been puzzling for over a month now with last time modified, duration, datetimediff and with the time tracker from Airtable, but I do not get the results that I want (which is basically the exact functions of Toggle). I have a table with fixed license plates, the cars should be checked regularly and a form is filled out. When the form is submitted, all data from the form should be entered in the correct place in the table.Example:Registration number: ABC-123 in tableVehicle inspection was carried out on a vehicle with a license plate (ABC-123) and now the data should be entered in the table where the license plate "ABC-123" is located. how do I do that?

Hi there, below is a snippet of an interface I've set up. I have multiple filters that influence which records are used to sum the various metrics below. The next metric I'd like to implement is a ratio using the summed numbers, for example number of emails sent per user so 109167 / 51065 =  ~2:1. Is there any way I can do this? I'm happy with doing the actual calculations in a nocode tool if there's a way to send across the list of filtered records but I can't figure out a way to do this. If anyone has any ideas or perhaps alternative tools I could use for this exercise then please let me know, thanks in advance!

Hello, I have 2 tables, clients and tasks. Each task has a linked record field to the client. I want the automation structured so that when Task ABC is Complete, the linked client's stage (stage is a field in the clients table) updates. I am struggling getting the record ID for the linked client record for the subsequent steps. 

Hi! I have a table that is defined by an auto-incrementing numerical id, and then the secondary field is "Name". I want people to be able to select records in a form based on that name, or at least validate the ID they've selected is the correct name. Is there any way to display a look-up field within a form, or even better allow a user to select a linked record based on searching or browsing a look-up field?Thanks in advance!

New Airtable user here, so this is a pretty basic question (and so hopefully a straightforward answer!), though I can’t find existing guidance in the forum. Specifically, I’m having no luck creating a “Link to another record” column that automatically populates itself with those linked records. The Project tracker template provides an example of exactly what I mean: the Task column is linked to the Tasks table and automatically fills with any new records that are added to the latter. When I attempt to create a new “Link to another record” column with this functionality, however, it’s blank and stays blank (doesn’t pull in existing or newly created records from the Tasks table). Hello. Right now i’m using air table to manage student information for my study abroad bussiness. It’s very good . But there’s one small problem, i want to automatic export data every day, but i cannot using the API through zapier because it’s not support automatic export. I have a BOM for each model we produce in our factory. I want to develope a database that allows us to control de actual stock we have based on the quatity and model of our production. Is it possible to do so without using a script and by introducing only a forms with the quantity and the model procuded? Just to understand my problem, each model uses at least 30 different components, with different quantities.Thank you

Hello,I've created a database with a form and applications that allow each employee to make holiday requests.They can apply for leave over two months (example: from 10/08/24 to 16/09/24).My requirement: I need to know, for each employee, how many days of holiday they have taken each month.Additional information:I have the date of the first day of leave + the date of the last day of leave + the total number of days of leave (excluding public holidays and weekends). If they only take half a day, the number of days off is 0.5.What can I do?Thank you for your help.

Please help I need a formula for reoccurring seasonal milestones.  We have seasonal launch dates and milestones in each season that occur at intervals;  -130 wks, -80 wks, -56 wks.  I want to calculate the due date of the milestone based on season launch date  & milestone -wks (-50wks) to generate the due date for that milestone.   Please help!

I want to preserve the setting from a search on an interface page, this needs to be dynamic, so a view does not work as I don't have access to the setting from within the interface page.Below is an idea of the search, location, age, gender etc... In this case a Filter connected to a grid inside a interface page shared amongst users. Rather than copy and email the link to them it would be great to name it and save it.If I copy the page url for this search the parameters are contained in the URL. I want to be able to save that url into a 'Saved Searches' table that we can refer back to a reload said search. 

I am using airtable to manage information related to a landscape design and installation business.   For most products, we purchase them as we need them and don't hold inventory.  However, for plants, we sometimes order in bulk (lots of 32 or 50), hold them in inventory and then use them as projects come up.  Plants that I order in bulk come in size a or b.I would like to be able to visualize projected inventory at points in the future (2w, 1m, 2m) for each plant in the different sizes we can order it in.  (i.e. today I have 0 of x, but in 2w after a purchase of 30 units and sale of 20 units I will have 10)Currently, I am using the following tables and fields to track plant inventory in and out.  The plants table is linked to sales and purchase by the SizeAIn and  SizeAOut rollups.  It can then calculate inventory by SizeAIn - SizeAOut.  I can use filters so that it excludes proposed sales/purchases or filter by date.

My automation has a conditional step that runs if these conditions are met:{Date Assigned GMT} is on or after 10/01/2024 AND{Date Assigned GMT} is on or before 10/31/2024I am located in the Eastern Time Zone. I am aware that automations do everything in GMT.How can I prevent this step from running until it is really 10/01/2024 in Eastern Time?

Hello guys,I'm trying to build a script to automation fetch the youtube video's transcript to Airtable via API keys or Oauth 2.0 via Make.com. But when i'm trying to retrieve the transcript and fetch the data to Airtable, i cannot do that via API, so I have to create OAuth in Make.com.
