Hi Airtable Community,I have a question regarding building interfaces in Airtable, specifically about building custom click-into-record preset views.When setting up an interface, I can configure it so that clicking into a record displays detailed information in a customizable preset view. However, I’ve noticed that if I set up a different interface with some of the same information, there's no straightforward way to access the preset views from the other interface.For example, let's say I have two interfaces within the same base, both involving organizational data. If I set up a customizable preset view for records in one interface, I can't directly use that same view in the second interface unless I recreate it manually. This seems like a duplication of effort.I’m curious to understand the reasoning behind this. Is there a specific logic or benefit to not being able to share customizable preset views across different interfaces within the same base?I welcome thoughts and insights from

Hi,I need help creating a formula for scoring a quiz that I am making in Airtable. The questions are a combination of single select and multiple select. There are 100 questions total and each question is worth 1 point if answered correctly. The multi-select questions must be answered exactly right to get 1 point, otherwise they get 0. I am running into a problem with the multiple select questions in the formula. With the way I have it written, it will count 1 point if all three of the correct selections are selected in any order. BUT if one of the incorrect selections are selected in addition to the three correct selections, it is still counting 1 point. How can I tell it that if any one of the incorrect selections are selected that the score should be 0? In this particular example A, B, & C are correct. D and E are incorrect and should not be selected for them to get the point. The highlighted area in the attached formula is the part of the formula for the multi select question. T

Hello all, I am new to airtable.I am looking to create a table for a collection management, in each row a new item. In the columns will be item details (image, description, size etc). Those columuns have to be "view only"The idea is to share the list with other people that they can manage their own collection, so there should be  three columns that everyone can individually tick off "in possesion" / dropdown "how many spares" / write in "ordered from".These individal details should not be visible to everybody else, nor me as the creator.From time to time I will have to add a new items/rows to the list.Is it possible to create it in airtable? Hi!Two formula questions - I have (4) different date fields with timestamps and need to identify the latest date across the four fields. When doing a Max value, it does not bring in the timestamp or makes it 12:00a as a standard. I also have (2) date fields that I need to calculate the datediff in hours and leaving the field blank if the second date field is empty instead of the NaN.Please help! Hello! I want to use the AI text generation field to query the LLM. When I use GPT 4.o with the same prompt on ChatGPT it works fine, however when I use the same prompt in Airtable, I get "no information found" as e reply (my prompt asks to provide this answer if there is no information found for the question). So I wonder:Which AI model does Airtable use for users that are not on the Enterprise tier?Why the difference in answers?If Airtable is using GPT, is it using a version that can and will use "Tools" to answer the prompt?Thanks for your help.

Hi,I have table of properties, faults and professionals.When I have a fault, I create a new record in the faults table and select the property where the fault occurred and the professional who worked on the fault.If the problem has been solved, I change the status to "Done" and send an email (with the help of automation) with a request for payment (that the customer will transfer payment to the professional) for the work.I want that when I buy the materials to deal with the problem, I have the option to add it to the email sent to the customer.For example - if an apartment had to be painted and there was no paint, I went to buy the paint, now when I mark this task as "done" I would like the customer to receive an email with a payment request for the painting work (payment to the professional) and also for the paint (payment for the supplier) when sending a request for payment I send the customer the private bank details of the professional/supplier But if I didn't buy materials fr

Hey everyoneBackground: we are using AT as a CRM Goal: track who of our customers are at which eventsMy solution thus far has been to have a People table and an Events table within the same base. Within each event, there is a guest list field that links to the "name" field of the "people" table. The issue is, I want to be able to quickly link guests to events, i.e. by uploading a CSV guest list and then that automatically linking to the "people" list. Ideally, on the "People" i could create gallery views for each event. I'm sure something like this is possible  but can't figure out how to do so! anyone have any guidance?? 

Hi AllI am having issues with linking information between tables.I have the below linked:1) Master Order Table 2) Order Line ItemsI wanted to create a new table called Purchase Orders (POs) which is just relevant purchase order information (excluding any sell price etc from the master order) so i can send the PO to my suppliers.The issue i am having is that the information on the POs table is not linking with the Master Order or the Order Line Items tables as per attachments. Please help me with solving this.Thank you!

Hello.I am trying to find records where a rollup results is less than or equal to a function. Both are formatted as numbers, and both work when I search for records in each column independently. Is there a solution for this?

When mapping a WordPress CF7 with airtable, Airtable allows Contact Form 7 to write into the field Email if it's an "Email" field-type, but not if i convert it to a linked table.I would like that the field "Email" inside of the table Messages links to a table named Email, where Email is the PK. Like this we'll be able to see all related messages.Unfortunately CF7 outputs an error with this setup. Is it there a workaround? Or should be build an airtable automation that reads the contact form user input that goes into the (unlinked) Email field and updates another field named LinkedEmail?So, either CF7 links messages to the Emails table, or we will have to auto-link using an automation.What's your opinion on that?

I have a somewhat complicated formula I wish to create, and as a formula n00b, I don't know where to start. Here's the problem I'm trying to solve:1. I have a series of tags I enter into a single text field, where each tag is separated by a comma. I have two conditions to meet before I list a product with the tags, otherwise, the Make.com automation won't work, and I'll have to spend a fair amount of time deleting a partially created listing and re-editing the record in Airtable. These conditions are 1) I can't have more than 13 CSV tags in the field, and 2) I can't have any duplicate tags.2) I would like to create a formula that displays an ❌ in the formula field if the tags CSV field has more than 13 tags AND/OR duplicate tags. Thanks in advance for the help! I want to find a way to use an automation to clear out a pre-filled field when a record matches conditions. For example: We have a check column to see if a task has been completed. We also have a collaborator column to see whom the task is assigned to. I want to create an automation to just clear the collaborator column when the task was completed without deleting the entire record (for archiving purposes). Any way to do this? Thank you!

I never need a field to be not editable. Only a few people use the base and everyone needs to access everything (it's a CRM). Having to set every single field on every single table and view and every place you ever see a field value. It's really awful.

I'd like to be able to create an ordering front-end for our farm. Ideally I'd like to be able to do this through airtable, so i can keep all our data well intergrated and streamlined.Here's my workflow:- Estimate quantities available for harvest on our harvest and delivery day (2 days ahead) - share that with our wholesale accounts. For some products, I communicate a range (i.e. "we definitely have 10kg of parsley, maybe up to 12kg"). Some accounts give a range of how much they'd want - e.g. "we would take a minimum of "10kg parsley, but if you do indeed have 12, we'll take all of it").- Receive orders. If there are conflicts in how much different accounts want, then I have to communicate asap with them. Generally its first-in-first-served, but there are 2 important accounts that have been supportive from the start, through mistakes etc, so I prioritise them.I'd like to be able to handle this with forms that I email to the accounts. I'm trying to use the options from a single select field as an 'input' selection in my script. I'm not sure if Airtable allows this. I need to be able to quickly select products to send out as a pricelist each week. Since all my data is in airtable, I'd like to be able to do this from Airtable, however I am unable to find a tidy way to do this with airtable.. The issues I have doing this directly from printing in airtable or interface designer:- It's quite ugly looking- I don't see a way to include branding or other info- Very limited formatting options- Airtable STILL has no wrap function (so products with longer descriptions are problematic).Page designer nearly  does what I need it to (automatically feeding record info into a template) - except that it only lets you do one record a page!The only semi viable options I have is downloading a view as a CSV, opening that in sheets to format it nicely. This level of repetitive action seems unnecessary on a week-by-week basis... Ideally I'd like a Page Designer extension that lets you format a table/grid..Does anyone have any suggestions of an easier

Hi all--We are a publishing company and we sometimes publish the same content multiple times throughout the year. We have a field set up "Publish Date" that shows all of the dates. The problem is when I try to have these feed into our general publishing calendar view, I can either only choose between the Minimum date (the first date) or the Maximum date (the last one), I can't figure out how to show both dates on the calendar (without having it span across the entire time in between the two dates). Is there possibly a way to separate the dates into separate entries and enter them into the calendar that way? Thanks in advance!

So Im pretty new to Airtable and not sure if I am going about this the right way and wonder if someone can point me in the right direction if not. Basically I am trying to use a multi select option to calculate the Extra costs involved in a job with solar installations which I have a field named Extras.
