Hello!I have created a table view based off my main table to keep track of my drivers working hours. Legislation requires me to input something for each date, so on days they are off I have to write "Off". I have it set up that they fill out a form, which fills the main table. How can I set an automation to create fields in between the dates, each time a driver fills out a new form?Any help is appreciated because I've tried so many ways and it keeps giving me errors

Hi everyoneI am working on an Interface that has "Projects" and "Tasks". Now in the "Project" Record Page I have a Grid view of "Tasks". How can I set it to only show Tasks that are linked to the current Project? Like this basically Thanks a lot!

Hi everyone!I was wondering how easy/complicated it is to have a programmer build a custom frontend for an Airtable Database. I am still looking to build a Report tool, where workers can create a Report for the day and choose from a number of project specific Tasks and document how long they worked on each task for that day. Each project specific task also has an underlaying task template and is part of a project specific task List at the same time. Basically its a bunch of tables linked with each other and then in the End I can see how long each task has been worked on etc. I already build the structure in Airtable and you can add contents but its obviously not userfriendly at all with the standard airtable interface. Now if I hire someone to build a custom frontend build for this, is that something thats doable relatively easy or is it just going to be a giant pain in the ass for whoever builds it? There is some extra stuff too. Hello! I am trying to use Make.com to connect to another company's airtable base for read-only purposes. The company that owns the airtable account is a client of mine.  Thus, I believe I need to use the OAuth method with a client ID (and a secret? I don't think the secret is necessary?). We also tried connecting make.com with a client id + a secret, no luck either.I receive the error This third-party app failed to properly construct a request to Airtable: invalid client_id or mismatched redirect_uri.I opened make.com in an incognito window. now, when I try to connect in the same way, a new browser tab automatically opens and redirects to airtable.com login. this also doesn't do me any good as I'm trying to connect to my client's airtable base via API.In the Airtable developer hub, the client has registered a new oauth, provided me the client ID, and added the redirect URL that make.com requires:https://www.integromat.com/oauth/cb/airtable3. I have some projects where I routinely (once a week or so) have to make a survey that fills out an fields in Airtable.  The surveys are mostly open-ended, so there are lots of long text fields.I share these externally by, currently, simply creating a view and sharing a link to that.Not the best, since it's hard to see the questions themselves (contained in the name of the field) and there is so much text that even very tall fields made quite big get unruly.And of course Airtable interfaces don't do me much good since you have to log in.  I have too many different, ever-changing clients to make anyone do that.Plus, since this is essentially new survey every single time, meaning new fields every single time, I ultimately need any setup involved to be relatively minimalAnyone have any ideas about how to display this sort of info in an easier to read manner? Or am I probably just best sticking with a shared view given the relative ease?

HelloIs there a way to include hyperlinks in a base? I am importing data from Excel, where I collected the profile of n individuals and for each profile I have general information (name, education, job title etc) and a link to their LinkedIn page. When I paste or import the data into Airtable, however, the links turn into plain text. Does Airtable support hyperlink functionality? Thanks in advance!

I have a field that is a formula (and the primary field in a table) (as you can see below)I have it in a sync view in the original table.I have my sync settings set However in the base table that it is being used to sync into the field shows as a long text field This doesn't seem right!

Hey guys,I am trying to build a company wide resource management tool using the timeline interface with utilization. This works with how I normally do resource management for tracking individual rolls where everyone i tagged under the same linked field, but I have yet to figure out a good way to do it if people are tagged across multiple different linked fields. We have our crews tagged by which role they play for each project (project manager, account manager, artist, etc) in linked fields for each role. This is great for laying out hows working what role, but recently my company wants to see what everyones schedules are to better plan out projects. I've thought of trying to have an automation pull the entire crew into one "All Crew" linked field, but that doesn't work. Do anyone know of a solution for this? Whether it's pulling everyone into one field or being able to view multiple roles in the timeline?Thanks!

I am working on an interface for my installers to use in the field. I'd like to add a way for the installer to upload photos. The twist is that I'd like to only have my installers on as commenters, not editors. Is there a way I can set a button to allow the installers to upload a photo to the record?

Ok, this may be super basic, but I really need help here. I've got two sets of data: 1. Google Analytics2 aHrefsThe Google Analytics data shows values like traffic, user engagement time, pages visited per session, etc and gives all of this for a single url. The aHrefs data gives data like keywords, keyword difficulty, search volume, etc, but instead of showing all of this data on a single url, it will give 50 of the same url (this is an arbitrary number) because aside from the url, all of the other data is unique. What I would like to do is combine all of that information into a single URL, So if there is one url, it will show me all of the different keyphrases it is ranking for, an average of their difficulty, etc. I need it all in a single record. So far, I've tried de-dupe, but it won't merge the different keyword values into a single field, it will just eliminate multiple of the same, and I'm a weeny with formulas, but tried the CON

Hi everyone, I created an interface form to collect data for a program application. One of the questions is a date field that asks the applicant to select a date for an event. When clicking on the date, it automatically opens up a calendar widget which is not very user friendly because you have to manually go back month by month to find the necessary date. Is there a way to disable the calendar widget from popping out? Thank you!

I am trying to set up an OAuth for Make, as API keys are no longer available to use, and it says not to give Personal Access Tokens to third party companies.I do not understand what the 'OAuth redirect URL' is supposed to be, at the moment I have tried the web address for Airtable https://www.airtable.com/, https://airtable.com/oauth2/v1/authorize, the web address for my Airtable base, but no luck. How can I give users who don't have AT license, the ability to add/update/delete data?1. Obviously I can build a form, but that only allows adding, but no update/delete.2. With interfaces, I can build full access functionality, but it is disabled for non-licensed users, giving them only view-only mode.What am I missing?

Hey guys!Quick question on best practices for Base sync, I currently have multiple views for each base sync but wondering if it's better to have all syncs under one view.Example:Base Clients pulling from table Companies has separate views to sync to Internal Department Base 1, 2, and 3 (SYNC - Department 1, SYNC - Department 2, etc).I have done it this way to be able to quickly view where the synced data is going, but often I find I am syncing the same exact data. So is it better to have all the same data syncs pulling from one view?Our airtable performance speed has also started slowing down and I'm wondering if this is a way to help speed things back up.Thanks!

I have a number field, no formula related, just simple number field. I have been trying to type 0210, it shows 210 instead, the leading "0" is automatically missing, is there anyway that I can keep the 0? thanks

Hello,I want to hand executive leadership a simple tool to use as they are not familiar with Airtable like our Project Managers are. The workflow I am hoping for is a Gantt chart, that would auto filter when they select a record to look at. If I have a list of project records, each project has different teams assigned to it, often multiple teams. If someone clicks "Project A", I would want the Gantt to auto filter to only include projects that have the same teams as "Project A". Then a simple way to reset the filter to move on to "Project B", then it filters to only show projects with the same teams as "project b". The idea is to see when projects are running from start to finish, and to be able to compare a new project that uses the same teams so we can time slot the start/end of the new project better, based on team availability. Thanks!

I am struggling to figure out an IF/THEN statement that includes an OR. Here is what I'm needing it to do.I want to say "If there is anything populated in Column A, I want it to pull it into Column C. And if there is anything populated in Column B, I want it to pull into Column C, as well." Here is my current formula       IF(OR({DMSID Formula},{EG DMSID Formula}),{DMSID Formula},{EG DMSID Formula}) This is pulling in "Column A" (DMSID Formula) into "Column C", but it is not pulling in "Column B" (EG DMSID Formula).  Any suggestions??? Hi,I would like a new field that tells me if a date has passed on an old field, called due date.So I would like the new field to say 'Yes' if the date has passed, 'No' if the date has not yet passed, and blank if no date provided.Going around in circles with this one so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

@Bill.French @ScottWorld I have installed the maps extension and successfully set up a field with the static map API to generate a static map based on an address and populate an image of that map as an attachment in a field for each record. How do I get this to run automatically when a new record is created or a new record enters a specific view? I have tried using the script from the extension in a script automation triggered by an event (new record, record enters a view etc.) and it doesn’t like the script from the extension

Hello all – Is there yet a way to access (i.e. read/write/update) a record’s fly-out comments via the API? We have another app in which there are comments that we want to merge with the appropriate record’s comments in AT. If not, is it anywhere on the roadmap? It totally affects how we plan this integration. Thanks!

Hi - I use this formula to figure out when to follow up with applicants: DATEADD({Initial Email Sent}, 2, 'week') But I'd like to have it return a different result (1 week vs 2) when my applicants are getting fast-tracked. I tried this: DATEADD(  IF({Send Initial Email}, "Initial Email"{Initial Email Sent}, 2, 'week',"FastTrack Initial Email", 1, 'week')) But it didn't work. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thank you!

I need some way to log (or view) records that have been recently commented on (by me, ideally, but by anyone is probably OK). I go through a base and look at my employee’s work, then ask her questions about it – need to find a way to follow up on those requests I sent via comment so I can see if they have been resolved. Open to some sort of automation/trigger/integration (zapier or whatever) but I can’t seem to find a way to make it happen. Is this possible? I know i could create a separate “comments” table and do it that way but I don’t want to. Thanks!
