I have a field that can at times have existing linked records inside them. I have an automation that when a record matches conditions will input a linked record to that same field. The issue I am running in to is that it replaces the existing linked records in there. I tried doing a dynamic input on the automation to include the existing linked records then separating with a comma, but it fails when testing. Any idea how I can keep existing, but add a new linked record in that same field with the automation?

Hi All,I'm trying to set up a resource tracker using the summarise function within the timeline view.In short, I want to be able take the days associated with a task and spread these across the length of the task. So if a task takes 20 hours and the task length is a week, then the summarise function would say 4 hours for each day and would group accordingly dependent on the scale we were looking at. I'll be grouping by individual, so want to be able to get this value summed across multiple tasks. This must be what the system is doing under the utilisation function, as it'll this to compare the available days to create the percentage, but I don't seem to be able to get it to work. When I go to summarise, and go to sum, it just shows me the total number of hours and doesn't spread the amount across the days. Crucially I don't want the percentage of available time used, I just want the number of hours themselves.  Thanks in advance!

HiI am trying to use below code (Google Apps Script) to get data from Airtable. The fetch request succeeds but the fields are returned as text [Object]. I am not able to see actual data. However the request works from other HTTP clients like Bruno.I have observed another issue. The code with small change marked below used to return data perfectly till couple of days ago but suddenly started throwing error 422. I have a payment tracking table. It has fields that are Original Cost, Variable Cost, and Fields for each month(Jan - Dec): Formula Field). The original cost is linked from another table. If the user does not provide any value to Variable cost, The original cost value will be split into 12 months in respective fields for each month. Otherwise Variable cost value will be split for each month. But my requirement is User can add the cost for each month manually if the client has paid a different amount for each month So that we can calculate the balance amount for the rest of the month.

Hey Airtable Community!I have a problem that's been bugging me for some time and I can't seem to solve it, so I decided to ask for your help.I have an automation on Make.com that pulls data from my bank account, looks for transactions by [transactionId] in my Airtable base and, if not present, adds a new record. The problem though is that the filter formula I'm using in my API call sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.What I mean is when I perform tests, everything runs fine and after a few days the formula stops working - it doesn't identify correctly the records that are already in the the table and adds them again, effectively duplicating existing records. Hi everyone, I'm a beginner at airtable automation (so excuse the novice question) - I'm trying to figure out how to set up an automation to send an email with attachment when a new record is created. Same attachment will be going to all emails. More info: 1. User fills out a form on website with email address. 2. New record is created in Airtable table "Contacts" with the email address3. I think this record then needs to be updated to include the attachment (unsure how to do this) so that it can be attached in the email automationAny help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Hi! I'm trying to use a Task Template table & an automation to create Tasks aligned to an Account based on a specific criteria. I've got the automation working with the following set up: When a record matches a condition in the Accounts tableProduct/Service [LinkedRecord to the Product/Service table] is not empty Find Records in Task Template table & create list based on Product/Service dynamically pulling in Product/Service of Airtable ID in triggerCreate Records in the Task List for Accounts table with the relevant fields. Here is the problem: I want the "trigger" to be a multiselect field (IE there could be one or many product/services purchased by an account). Hello, I'm fairly new to the paid version of Airtable and I've been able to figure out most of the features and automations I need. I'm specifically wondering (especially with the updates that have come out) if there's a way to validate entries and form conditions. Example: students input their e-mail address in a form. If it does not meet the condition of having their .edu e-mail address, there's no way to reset the form or put an error message up. I have tried putting a conditional field that it must include the .edu student address portion, and I made it a "check box" format with an error message. Students do not seem to read this and submit the form with incorrect data or the form not even being filled out. Is there a way to not allow the submission if certain things are incorrect?Also with attachments, is there a way to condition that attachment to only accept certain types of files? Thank you!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to label relationships in this CRM we are building? We have multiple relationships we want to label such as spouses, siblings, advisors, parent-child. We also want it to work in the inverse so it shows that Sally is the child of Tom and Tom is the parent of Sally.

I've read through several help topics and I am still having issues, hoping someone can help me. I have a field that is counting the days between the due date and todays date. Hi, I don’t know whether this is a bug or something has changed - we have calendars on our outlook account - we did this using ‘sync to external calendar’ links. We noticed the calendar events are no longer showing in our outlook - they previously were. I am unsure when this changed. I have deleted and re-added the link and the calendar is still not syncing. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi, I’m looking for a way to query the “line number” (based on the current manual sorting of a table) when iterating over the records. I don’t have a table column which reflects the actual sorting so I can’t use a column as sort criteria with selectRecordsAsync(). I am working on using an Airtable automation to assign topics to writers. Step 1: Trigger Step 2: Find records that meet the right criteria. Step 3: Send an email with values from the found records as a grid. Step 4: Update the records from step 2. I have a single select field “Emailed” that can be true or false. I’d like to update these values to True. Step 4 is where I am having a problem. I do not see the possibility for selecting Record ID’s for the records found in step 2. Is there a workaround to this?
