Hi all,Struggling with this one and I'm not sure if it's even possible.I have a table that works out total cost of a product, total cost of a product inc fees on Etsy total cost of a product inc fees on shopify.Etsy fees are always higher than shopify, so it makes things slightly easier.I currently set the retail price manually and then it shows fees, profit margin for shopify and etsy separately.What I'd like to be able to do is suggest a retail price for etsy, based on matching the profit margin of shopify. The fees of Etsy are higher so I can't just add the profit margin difference to the retail.I do have individual columns for each fee type if that helps?Here are my columns I currently have - Total CostRetailEtsy Transaction FeeEtsy Processing FeeEtsy Operating FeeTotal Etsy FeesTotal Cost with Etsy FeesEtsy Profit (£)

Anyone know how to fix this. Is it because airtable is unable to extract data from a formula field to update a date field. 

Problem Description: In the Airtable automation configuration, the "Find records" step successfully found matching employer records, but in the "Update record" step, the error "Received invalid inputs" is still displayed. We have confirmed that the "Record ID" and "Fields" are using the correct output values from the "Find records" step, but the issue persists. 

Hello! I am trying to build an interface that would allow our team to plan out large projects that require multiple tasks, all in one form. For example, I want to input a Project 1, add a description, input a deadline, and add a priority status. This should feed into a Projects table and I assume have a field that links to the task records.In that same form, I want the ability to add smaller tasks that are part of the larger project. Specifically, I want to be able to add tasks, a description or notes, a deadline, and most importantly an assignee to that specific task only (not the project). This should feed into a Tasks table with each task as its own record.One form would be best versus having to create a project on its own and create task records separately. Is there any way to do this? Is this even possible in Airtable?

I have tried to explore airtable marketplace but I cannot see any option to publish template created by users. Is there any way to do it so?

Hello all, this may be one of those things where I am trying to think too complicated 😉I have a base for my finances -I just need to list my recurring bills, my paydates, and have an output showing a running total of how much $$ needs to be in my account to cover those things.So Table 1 has the ExpenseTable 2 has Income datesTable 3 Budget then has a record for every payment, linking to the Expense and the PayDate. I manually create each record and link the PayDate to the one most appropriate (so the date of the next PayDate). I then Group based on that next paydate. Once the payment clears my account I check it off as complete.

I have a base set up to log participant feedback after people attend a program. Respondents fill out a form and give ratings to questions related to different dimensions (belongingness, context, etc.); I currently have responses linked to activities and program profiles, which determine the specific dimensions that are presented in the survey.I want to make a Likert chart for each program that shows the distribution of ratings for each dimension. Hello everybody.It is possible to have a view of type "Locked view" and at the same time of type "Personal view".The thing is that I have views created exclusively to generate automations. So I want, on the one hand, for no one other than me to access them (no one but me needs to be bothered by displaying this view in the list of available views), and on the other hand, to prevent myself or someone else from modifying them by mistake.If not, what would be the best way to protect a filter view that is used exclusively to generate automations? The idea is to prevent adding records there, and at the same time having its configuration manipulated by mistake.Thank you.

Hi all! I’m in desperate need of a way to get the data I have in a table into Google Sheets. I would prefer not to use Integromat, but a script. I’m not a developer… I found a script (https://www.optimi.co.nz/blog/2019/05/11/you-too-can-make-dashboards-how-to-visualise-your-airtable-data-in-google-data-studio) but it pulls all the columns of the table and I would like it to pull only the ones that are not hidden in a specific view. Also, since I will be referring to those columns in other sheets, I need their order not to chance when it updates. Any suggestions? @Bill.French? Thank you!!

However, developing the scripts is relatively tedious because the script editor gives a limited view of the code (and it lags behind a “real” IDE, e.g. no copilot etc). There is also no version control.I currently develop our scripts this way:I write the script in Visual StudioI also maintain the GIT repo thereWhen I'm done, I copy the script into the Airtable script editorHowever, copying back and forth is error-prone and tedious.My questions to the community:What are your best practices for writing automation scripts and managing the scripts?Is it really not possible to make the code view in the editor full screen (Safari, see image)?Thank you very much!

Hello, I am running into the problem where if two users trigger my automation at the same time or before the automation finishes then the second data point will not run/create a record. Is there a way to setup a queuing system where the second trigger can hold until the automation has completed?Thank you!

Hello Airtable Community! I need help figuring out an easy data entry model for our YOY production reports.The basics: We have ~150 clients and ~75 suppliers (every year some clients leave, some are added, which is true for suppliers as well, meaning those lists are not static). Our clients sell products from our suppliers. For every year, our suppliers report sales for each client, which we collate into an individual sales report per client (I need help with reporting too, but that's a problem for another day). OpenAI's API for GPT-4 constantly has an over 30sec delay in responding to larger token prompts. This makes automation in AirTable rather useless unless you go to the trouble of building cloud functions. I have multiple working automation steps to categories data, create short email replies etc. But if you want to do anything real with GPT-4 it's limited by the response time. Question - how can I get around this? Any thoughts? 

I'm using the 'color' attribute to color-code my fields according to type of item in the primary field, but now I have reached six colors (including the default color), I cannot proceed any further.Is this normal?

For example:Shift A = Max. 5 participantsShift B = Max. 2 participantsNow I would like only the free shifts to be displayed in the form. I used the Dedupe extension almost daily to remove duplicate records from my bases. I also have clients that use it as well. Today I got the following error message. Usually reloading the extension takes care of any issues, but today, I just keep getting the error message, even after reloading. I tried deleting the extension and re-adding it. Still error message. I even tried adding it to another base and still had the same issue.Anyone else experiencing this? I reported the issue, but wondered if anyone else had the same issue.

Hard to believe, but iPad quality of life re: Airtable is worse today than it’s ever been?  My M1 Air running 17.4 does everything else I need it do, but the app is useless and the website looks ok upon first loading…. But I can’t even switch tables…Is anyone at Airtable listening?  Do any iPad users have any workarounds?   

Attention AT staff: The view on the What's New page is broken. Looks like the sorting has been set to Month of Release rather than creation date, meaning that it is listing in reverse alpha by month name.   

I have an automation that once a checkbox is checked, it creates a new record in a different table. It worked quite well and today it failed repeatedly saying "Creating the record failed due to insufficient permissions."I'm the owner of the account so i assume it does not mean my own insufficient permissions.... can someone explain this message and help resolve it? 

Hi everyone! I'm struggling to create an automation. We have a list of customer-support interactions that are either marked as Open, In Progress, or Resolved. For the most part, interactions are resolved same-day, but occasionally, some will need to be left as Open or In Progress, creating the need for a daily email summary that lists those unresolved interactions (if there are any). With that, I've been trying to create a scheduled automation that runs at 8:30 AM every day based on a view (that is set to only show unresolved interactions), and I'd like the automation to only send the email if there are items within that view. I've been trying to configure this, but with no luck. I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly (maybe it's my "Find records" step?) There's currently 1 record within that view, but when I test the automation in it's current state (attached) it's not meeting the conditions. Any ideas? Thank you in advance! 

Hello! Im looking to recreate this function in Airtable=COUNTA(UNIQUE(Masterlist!C5:C))Where the column in Airtable I'm looking to count unique entries in is called CLIENT NAME.
