Hello! I work for an event facility and we are trying to automate our calendar with a submission form. The idea is that when a new form is submitted with an event name, date and time that it will be automatically added to Google calendar. With the current automation, it syncs the date with google calendar, but defaults to 12pm for the time for everything submitted. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to make this work? Thanks! Jamie

The amount of the contribution will vary based on a beneficiary category.- 3 [Salarié] : they are employees who can benefit from either a commercial offer, or an exclusive offer if their company contributes on the given offer.I want to created a table where I will calculate the amount due by the employee, based on a) his Employee ID (and the company attached), b) the Commercial offer chosen and c) the beneficiary (the employee himself, an invitee or a family member).For a chosen Commercial offer, and given the company the employee is linked to, I need to know if there is a contribution from its company. The community's help is really needed. I need to figure out access to certain rows in the database.Scenario: Each row of the table has a "USER" field. In it I select users who have access to the table (screenshot #1). I want to make it so that "USER" see only those rows in which they are selected and can edit these rows. All other rows where they are not selected in the "USER" column, they either cannot edit or cannot see (it’s better if they don’t see it, but it’s not critical).  

Hi all, please help put me out of my misery. I have a database to organise film shoots. I have three tables: scenes, dates and kit Each entry in the scenes table links to an entry in the dates table (the date we’ll shoot that scene), and may or may not link to a number of items in the kit table, indicating whether that scene requires specialist kit (cranes, drones etc). I am trying to make a field in the dates table that summarises what kit is required for that day. When I make this a rollup pointed at the scenes table, kit field, it pulls through all the entries correctly but obviously as there can be many scenes scheduled for a particular day, each of which might require the same bits of kit, I get a lot of duplicates. No matter what combination of ARRAYUNIQUE, ARRAYFLATTEN, ARRAYCOMPACT etc etc I try I can’t get the rollup to show only unique items. To be clear what I’m after is that if a particular date has four scenes and two require a drone and one requires a crane, I want the ro

New to Airtable and had the webinar getting started with Airtable. However, my work will be to read and write data from a 3rd party app. Generally data will be pushed and pulled from the 3rd party app/website.The method to push and pull the data will be similar to the CURL examples in the docs. Seems straight forward.OverallMy general question: any suggestions or insight for best practice, etc. DetailTo get specific, I have created a couple Bases in my account as well as a Personal Key. Looking at the API call to List Records I need the BaseID. Looking in my account I don't see this info attached to the Base. My assumption then, I'll need to use List Bases to be able to List Records on a specific Base. Will I need to use this process every time? Storing this info into a local table on the 3rd party app is an option. So is it possible the IDs might change during the life of the base/table/record? Case StudyHere's a typical scenario. Categories on the 3rd party app are fluid. T

I use Airtable for my small property management business. I have to send a list of customers and some data about them to my insurance agent every year as part of the renewal process for my liability insurance. Insurance companies do not want electronic views of databases. They want hard copies. Paper. To do this, it appears that I have to spend a considerable amount of money to use another application to get my data out of Airtable.Is there a way to print a view or an Interface, or send a pdf of the info, or an email that can be printed? If not, then Airtable has become of no value to me. I need to communicate the way my vendors do. A cannot bend to them to using systems they do not want. I am a very small company. They are very large.If there is away, would someone please let me know how to go about it?Many thanks, Scott

Hey All - hoping someone might be able to help me out here.  Using the list view in Interfaces and three dropdown options, I give my users the ability to generate and view custom reports. I'm trying to find a way to allow them to download/save/export these reports as a PDF or even Google Sheet - and hopefully save the list layout. Here are the issues I'm running into: 1. There is no ability to add a button to the list view (Likely will not be able to work around this)2. I've tried using the page builder extension but it will not allow me to include lookup fields in the data - which is how I'm building the list in the first place. 3. I can't seem to find any other way to pass the filter information through to the automation with a button. In full-page Grid/Kanban/List views there is no option to add a button, and the Grid/Kanban/List elements can't be used as a button source in non-full-page views. Is this beyond the capabilities of Airtable? Has anyone man

Hi everyone, I am new to the Airtable and I'm excited to be part of this community. May I apologise in advance if I don't use the correct technical terminology.  I design surveys, impact assessments and evaluation tools for a criminal justice charity. I have created a survey using 'Forms' and in one section I have 10 questions that require word responses. For example one of my questions is 'When I am confronted with a problem i can usually find a solution'The multiple choice response can be 'Not at all true' [=1]. Barely true [=2]. Moderately True [=3]. Exactly True [=4]I need to create a formula for a separate column that will tally up all the numerical values and give me the overall score. Any advice on how I write this formula will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Justin    

I want to have the top filter dropdowns be dependent of each other for the list view. For example, if I select Program A, I should only see the projects that fall under Program A... not all the projects available for any programs. 

I've made a Record Template that creates multiple records. I want to write a script that runs this a bunch of times and fills in some of the fields based on a form submission. I can't find any way to access and run a record template from a script. Any help or other ideas would be greatly appreciated. If I can't figure this out I guess I'll just script the whole process and skip using the record template but I'm not proficient in scripting yet so I'll need to learn a lot to do this.

I am sending an email automation with a grid of records included in the body of the email. The grid of records includes the time zone UTC in the field. I dont want this included.I have included the formatting settings of the start and end date fieldsIs there anyway to turn this off? Thanks!

I currently have a formula running for # of weeks someone has been enrolled in the program.  Is there a way to have a Kanban view with 52 columns (1 for each week of the year) and have the clients auto populate in those columns based on # of weeks enrolled?

Hi! I have data coming in from a webhook to Make. I am trying to create a formula in Make to search Airtable for number of times an email appears in a field on a table and limit the number of submissions to Airtable. For example, I want to limit the rows to 5 for this user based on email. When the user submits data via the webhook, I want Make to do a search on Airtable and count the number of time the email appears in the table, if email appears less than 5, allow data to be submitted. If more than 5, give an error or prevent data submission. Here is the formula I used. 8.FIELD__KPZIT488X is the value from the webhook for email."{{8.FIELD__KPZIT488X}}"={Email}I have tried to do this with forms, but no luck. Trying to see if it can be done with formulas on the backend.

Hello,I am building a Scheduling tool for my company and a feature we do for our clients is "Scheduling Optimization", where we map out their schedules and look for ways to cut down on headcount, merge shifts, etc.I was hoping to use the Timeline View to display the schedules with both date and time taken into consideration, but despite the "Day" view having an hourly breakdown, it still displays each shift as an "All Day" event: I am aware that the Calendar View does this properly, but the problem is the orientation; I'm often working with events that are 100+ staff per day, so the Calendar View is somewhat unusable:The Daily Calendar view is a little better, but I need to see these records from a weekly view in order to properly assess possible optimizations. What I really am looking for is to be able to have either a Timeline View that properly displays record width based on time OR a Calendar View that I can flip the orientation where time is splayed sideways (if that makes sense!)

Hello, I am setting a legal case tracking base and I am trying to do something where:1: When I input the date of incident, it automatically calculates two years from that date2: I would like to have a table that also has a countdown until we reach the Statute of Limitations. Ideally, it would look something like: Date of Incident (03-11-24), Statute of Limitations (03-11-2026), Days remaining: 365I attempted the Datetime_Diff between the two, but it just gives me the number of days between the Date of injury and SOL, so I think I can omit the Date of Injury and just have a running countdown so that every day when I log in, the day is one less remaining in the column that is counting down. 

Is there a way to append data in a field? Let's say I have a long text field called "Campaigns" which will contain the different campaigns that a customer have agreed to through our emails. Is there a way to preserve the previous text and basically add the new text to the field?

Dear Community,I hope someone can help me with the following issue...I have an automation sending out an email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. The attachment(s) come by lookup from my "inventory" table. Now, as some inventory items may have the same attachment (eg. an invoice covering several inventory items/lines) I consequently get several same attachments pulled to the "shipment". How can I tell airtable or my automation to ignore files with same filename when sending out email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. It's hard to explain, but I hope someone will see my issue. 🙂 Kai 

Would it be possible to activate an automation in Airtable (send a form), with a trigger in Figma?Every time someone gets tagged in Figma, the form should be send to the tagged person. 

I want to create a "sheet" timetable that creates new dates using a formula based on one date that is inputted. I know there's probably a better way to say that so please disregard my ignorance. Here's what I want to happen...I input the "Class Start" date and all other dates are created using formulas. Here is our current sheet.Is this possible in airtable? Hello! I have a large set of dates that are a partial year and month, and would like to convert this to a final date of the month format. Examples:Data I HaveDesired Format24-Apr2024-04-3024-Aug2024-08-3023-Dec2023-12-31I've tried concat using LEFT( & RIGHT(I'd like to try SUBSTITUTE, but not sure of the formatting.
