I have a table where different group clients submit weekly weights on a form.I'm calculating "starting weight - weekly weight = X". With each submission, I send them an automated email that records what their weight loss is, BUT even though their weekly weight loss differs, I want to only send them the max weight they've lost of all the weeks submitted.e.g. starting weight - 200lbsweek 1 submission = 194 (6lbs lost)week 2 submission = 196 (4lbs lost)week 3 submission = 197 (3lbs lost)So their record will continue to pull only the "194 (6lbs lost)" until a higher weight loss is submitted. How do I do that? The rollup fields are not working for me - or am I missing something! The current rollup field is reflecting all 0 but there are no zero entries.

Hi everyone,I'm new to Airtable and I'm trying to automate the process of updating fields in a primary table based on records filled out in a secondary table. Both tables share the same ID for each record. The primary table serves as my master record, while the secondary table contains five fields that will be completed via a form. I'm pre-populating the ID in the form to ensure consistency across tables. However, I'm struggling to find a way to automatically reflect the updates from the secondary table in the master record table as soon as a new record is created. I feel like there should be a simple solution, but I haven't managed to figure it out yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all, I have DB on airtable and softr is processing the data and displaying as needed. My next step is to push the displayed images to Pinterest, but when I try to add the URL of the product page from Soft to Pinterest I'm getting this errorURL: https://shop.engroovers.com/tribesigns-products?recordId=recr9Wkxlqh0kM7H9"No images found. Remove any tracking parameters in this URL to try again."I understand the that the record ID is coming from Airtable but is there any way I can modify it to show the image when added from URL?Kindly let me know. When an interface button is used to trigger an automation, does it leave any kind of trail in terms of date clicked?I am making an interface for a staff member to generate a draft contract, but she needs to do it only once. Since the button is so easy to click, I am afraid of it being generated multiple times. I thought I could somehow put a field showing below it of the date the automation ran. Thanks!

I have a payroll base that tracks timesheets and commissionable transactions for our employees. It includes the following linked tables:EmployeesTimesheetsThe Employees table includes information for name, address, email, etc. Additionally, there is a Straight Time (ST) Hourly Rate field. We have thousands of records in the Timesheets table from daily entries submitted by employees. The submissions simply consist of:Employee NameStart Date/TimeEnd Date/TimeFormula fields calculate the number of hours worked. To calculate ST Gross Pay, a lookup field displays the ST Hourly Rate from the Employees table. That is multiplied by the number of hours worked.We recently decided to give an employee a raise in his ST Hourly Rate. My problem is that if John has a ST Hourly Rate of $20 and I change it to $21 then, based on the present calculations in the Timesheets table, all my historical records reflect the new $21 rate, which is not accurate.It was suggested that I create a Rate History table l

My client has a team of several Creators and one Owner. They want to make an Interface that is only viewable to the Owner. When I create a new Interface and choose not to share with users (I click "Not Now" on the dialogue box shown below), then I go to Manage Permissions, it shows that all Creators have permissions to the new Interface. I can't figure out a way to remove access to Interfaces for Creators. Is this even possible? Or do they need to be downgraded to have permissions set for them? 

Hi!I have a countdown for our warranty cases, which needs to be completed in the 45 days or less. Our customer fills out the Form, and the countdown stars when the Form is submitted. So the first field is "Form date" DATETIME_FORMAT(CREATED_TIME(), 'D. M. YYYY')The second field is "Days" DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(), {Form date}, 'days') And the third field is "Countdown"45-{Days} This works fine, but the problem is, that when the status is "sent" or "refund" the countdown don't stop. So the point is, that I want to know how long one case was open. I can also use just one status, let's say "complete" but now I stumble upon one problem.I don't have a specific date field for the end of the case (it depends on the case - some wants refund, some wants exchange or repair). So in this case I have two date fields (date of a refund and date of a shipment). So it's little complicated. Hope someone knows the anser to my problem. 🙂Have a nic

Generally, I've been very happy with Airtable's documentation and what's available in the community.  Not so much with this issue.  I see posts ALL OVER the community about people needing to query a table or view and filter their results (like a typical WHERE clause in SQL).  This is one of the most common questions/issues I see, and yet the support from Airtable staff on providing very clear example code for accomplishing this is between abysmal to non-existent.  I'm no genius, but I'm fairly bright.  Trying to figure out the exact syntax for accomplishing this from the info available is way to difficult!  Come on, Airtable!  Help us out!I'd like to see a new section that supplies plenty of specific script code samples for the most common query filtering, such as...1) A basic string field "where FIELD = 'Some value'"2) When multiple fields need to be included . I have been testing Process St for documenting my tasks/processes to delegate to others. It is a great tool that lets me create the steps on a left navigation and then add text/images and videos to each step. I was curious if there might be a way I could do this in Airtable. I am stuck because I can’t include text and pictures or videos on the same field. Due to the deprecation of the API keys, you won't be able to connect your Airtable with your Typeform. Since personal access tokens don't work you are not able to advance. Typeform will repeatedly ask you for your API key which you can't create anymore.How can this be resolved? Hope someone can help, thanks. 

I've successfully created a webhook via the Airtable API using the following json: { "notificationUrl": "https://mycallback.app/", "specification": { "options": { "filters": { "dataTypes": [ "tableData" ], "recordChangeScope": "tbla....." } } } } It seems to work in the sense that my callback URL gets called.  Right now all I'm doing is logging the request body that is sent back to my endpoint and it seems to be missing all the important data about what has changed.  This is what I get back: { base: { id: 'app6......' }, webhook: { id: 'achnoA6.....' }, timestamp: '2024-02-22T23:46:02.849Z' } ANy idea what I did wrong or what I should be doing to get the details of what field changed.  I see the change in the UI and I've tried making the change in the UI as well as via code using an Airtable library.  And again, I see the change when viewing in the UI and the l

I have a string of text in one column that i'd like to separate into individual columns. For my small business, I have three levels of information I'm trying to manage. I have (a) the human client, (b) their pet, and (c) the services that they want for their pet. Each human can have multiple pets, and each pet can have multiple services. The projects themselves occur at the pet level, since one human might come back multiple times with different pets, and all the services for a pet occur at once. A pet will not come back for more services again in the future, so it makes sense that we could consider "pet" to be the main unit of analysis (sorry, I'm a social scientist by training, forgive my lingo). A big part of my work is thinking about how I complete tasks by what services I need to do in any given day; in other words, Spot might need Service A, Service B, and Service C done, and I care about knowing what services I've already done and what I still need to do for Spot. My table has 3 fields:One field is country selection - e.g. USA, EU, Canada..One field is product - e.g. table, chair, cabinet...One field is supplier - e.g. supplier A, supplier B, supplier C. Does anyone know how to set rules/conditions in SAME field of airtable FORM INTERFACE at below scenarios?  Scenario 1 - select USA and table, filtered option is supplier AScenario 2 - select EU and table, filtered options are supplier B and supplier C I am not familiar "add condition" or "add condition group" in form filtering. I have setup an automation to create a new event in Google Calendar. I need it to be an All Day event however, the automation does not create it as such. Instead it is adding an arbitrary time to the event, in this case 12pm.I am using the same Date field from my table as my Start and End times and the date format in the table does not include time. I am also including the same Date field in the All Day Event option when configuring the automation.Does anyone know how to create an All Day event in Google Calendar through an automation?(I do not want to make the Start Time 12:00am and End Time 11:59pm, it does not create the same type of formatting that an All Day event has on GCal.)

Hi hi.I'm stumped. I set up a ridiculously basic automation for a client to send an email at a scheduled time. It's set up as follows:Trigger: at 9:00am on the 15th of the monthAction 1: Find Records that match a condition (billingStatus = Bill By Month)Action 2: Using the records that were found in Action 1, send one email per record. Each email has my client's email address as both the bcc: and the Reply To email. The Run History shows that earlier today, the automation ran once and 4 emails were sent. But my client got 6 emails! 2 were correct and only were sent once = yay; 2 were sent to the same email address twice - one with the right information and one with the wrong information = boo. I’ve just started diving into Airtable and have successfully setup our Jira Cloud instance and synced the data into a base. This seems relatively useful, however not being able to update fields and sync them back is quite a big drawback. Are there any workarounds to this? Is this feature anywhere on Airtable’s roadmap?

Hi. Sorry, but I'm struggling to know how to do this. After my automation sequence, I want to update a date field with todays date to show when the automation ran. I've searched hard here, but I cannot find a way to do this. I've tried a formula in the chosen field to update, but formulas don't seem to be accepted in the 'update record' module.
