If I am in Base A and click the “+ Add or Import” button and select the “Sync data from Airtable base” option and select a table from Base B it brings in and syncs the table. One thing though is single and multiple collaborator fields get converted to Single line text. Is this expected? Is there a way to make it stay as a Collaborator field?

Dear Airtable Community,I need your help with the following issues. In the course of project management, the employees have to submit a monthly performance report (%) for all current projects to our controlling department.Example:Project XYPerformance report Nov. 2023: 75 %Performance report Dec. 2023: 85 %etc.It would be great if the value of the previous months remains and is not overwritten, but I don't want to create a new column for the upcoming percentage entry every month.I would be happy if someone could suggest a solution to this.Best regards & thank you

Hey everyone, I had a quick question to see if this is possible. I view my projects in a timeline view that is grouped by what phase the projects are in. The top group are projects that are coming up, but sometimes I dont have a date for an upcoming project aka I dont see the project in my timeline view. I dont want to forget about possible projects that are coming up with no specified date and was wondering is there like some sort of an option with airtable timeline view to have records that dont have a date show up under the group name on the left bar or somewhere where I can remember like ohhhh right that needs to be scheduled? Hello,I am trying to create a stacked bar graph in Airtable like the one I made in excel, but there's something I'm not quite understanding about how the chart extension tool works in Airtable. I cannot group the different day ranges under the record #, only the total, not the individual segments stacked. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.  

I've noticed we've been having issues managing the number of "Builders" we have on our company's Airtable account. In the Admin Panel it indicates that we have a limited number of "Builders" and "Contributors" included in our plan, and there are billing implications if we go over this number. Unfortunately we keep going over the number but can't seem to work out why!I have tried to find more information on the functionality of these user seat license types, but all I could find was information about Airtable user permission levels (Owner, Creator, Editor, Commenter, Viewer) and haven't been able to work out how they are connected, but the definitions of the user seat license types seems to indicate that a "Builder" seat allows users to have Creator level permissions, and a "Contributor" seat allows users to have Editor level permissions:Builder: Builders are able to create and customise bases and workspaces

Hi everyone, I have created a form from one of the templates and embedded it in my joomla website What code can i add that will make it one long form so that it doesn’t scroll in the iframe? I would like just the webpage to scroll not the iframe if that makes sense. Many thanks Jim

Was just informed that our card was being charged for a pro plan. There was an unauthorized person on our account.  We don't use AirTable and we followed all the instructions: (a)  I deleted the user and then (d) downgraded, but then I got a message that AirTable will go to free on March 17, 2025.  This is unacceptable.

I have a table for meetings that is linked to a Personnel table and an attendance confirmation table that is also linked to the Personnel table.When a meeting is submitted, an email is sent to each linked personnel record with a form. The form is prefilled with the meeting ID and the Personnel's name. When they submit, it shows that they attended the meeting.I'm trying to find a way - within the meeting table - to show what personnel (linked in the meeting table) have not completed an attendance form using a lookup into the attendance table to find the personnel name. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Hi all -Airtable newbies here! I'm an ops manager supporting a team that has a ton of gates/deliverables. There are lots of dates (50+) and it is cyclical every 3-4 months. The team has told me it would be helpful if I created calendar invite reminders for their outlook calendar to keep them on track. I've already inputted all of the deliverables and dates into airtable and created some great calendar tools, but am having trouble creating the piece to bridge the gap to outlook calendar reminders.I was able to create an automation tied to a button on an interface. However, I'm finding a few limitations to this and wondering if anyone has any great solves?I have to press a button for each record/date individually. Is there a way to set an automation to apply to all records with certain conditions? (for example, add outlook reminders for all dates in X cycle?)I can in

Hey all,I'm working on setting up a tracker for my team, but I'd like to set it up so that our final milestone in the Gantt chart is a fixed date that cannot be changed. The milestone date represents our client delivery date that we cannot pass, so if previous dependencies shift, I don't want the milestone to change. It's fine, almost preferable, if we get a warning that there's something wrong. Is there a way to set it as a fixed deadline?I'm new to the community and still learning, so if you need more information, I'm happy to provide it!

If I create a survey form (interface) to be filled out for project requests - do the other departments making the request using the form need an Airtable license? 

Hi, I hope it's ok to ask for some human help here. Like many, i'm sure, I've been getting OpenAI to help me out when my coding doesn't work, and for the most part that's been fine. But i'm stuck on something now.I have a script which takes a 'booking' (which is a record in a Bookings table), looks at the linked record for {Episode} and {Element} and increments the number found within each by 1. It then searches up those records in the relevant tables "Episodes" and "Elements" and tries to create a new record with those found RecordIDs in the relevant fields. I am getting stuck as the script reports that the fields in question (which I've confirmed are correct IDs) won't accept the RecordIDs in the format they are being given. The fields are linked records, able to accept multiple records, so I think the script is presenting the RecordIDs as an array. the script is below, and also the error I receive. // Corr

How to make combinations of field in between columns : Exemple : Product ALPHA - VARIANT LINKED TO IT : SUBVARIANT-X - Items compatible 1,2,3. + SUBVARIANT-Y compatible 7,8,9- If I select SUBVARIANT-X : item 1. Hi AllI am looking for a formula to extract project status from a string with multiple response column. Criteria is IF "Market Single" is appear anywhere in the "Updated Status", then return as the 1st word in that particular string. Example below: the output I am looking for in "Final Status" is:- Row 1: Ongoing (Albania in Market single, Ongoing being the first word in the string)- Row 2: Hold (Andorra in Market single, Hold being the first word in the string)- Row 3: Cancelled (Antigua in Market single, Cancelled being the first word in the string)Currently this is the formula I have - and it returns all three response as Ongoing - which is not what I am looking for: IF(  FIND({Market single}

Dear Airtable,The last 24 hours as your paying clients were just awful.After upgrading our plan to Team and successfully paying for your service, the upgrade was correctly reflected in our workspace feature summary which shows 4,466 of 50,000 records, and 0 GB for all the other indicators. Despite that, the base has remained limited since our payment causing us major business impact and problems of all sorts with our web application.What is worse - and it is frankly upsetting for customer - is the astonishing support that has been provided so far. Hey all! I'm back with a new issue that I'm hoping won't be too hard to solve but I can't seem to find the solution myself. I have two fields that I need to combine. Field 1 contains a variable, such as GKM3, GKM5, etc. Field 2 contains comma-separated values like L16, L17, L18. I have been trying to find a formula to combine the value of Field 1 with each of the values of Field 2. So the output in the 3rd field would be GKM4L17, GKM4L17, GKM4L18. Unfortunately, when I try a concatenate or substitute function, it only appends the Field 1 value onto the first value in the list, like in Field 3.  I would really appreciate any help! 

The required parameter for the base.createTableAsync call is Fields, but when I put a dynamic list of Fields in it, it says that it's not the right type, when it really is. Is there a workaround? I do not want to hand-key in all of the fields, which may change fairly regularly. Goal: Duplicate the Trainees tableBlocker: base.createTableAsync's Fields parameter does not accept a dynamic set of Fields 

Hello, I created a table of articles I published on my site.  For each row, I inserted the article title, publish date and various tags.   I would like to create a view/report so that Airtable presents me with one long report of all my articles organized first by a single tag..and then for each tag category it would sort the articles by date.Here's what I did:Using the "Group" feature,  I grouped by "categories" (all my tags)  and then i added a subgroup of Date.When it showed me the results (see attached), it showed me rows organized not just by a single tag, but multiple tags.  (It seems it's doing that based on how I added multiple tags to the end of a single row in my airtable).How can I see a long list of all my articles grouped underneath multiple&nb

Hello!  I'm trying to come up with a formula or script or something that will let me know when a duplicate record was entered into my table.  I know I can use Dedupe to find current duplicates, but this is an ongoing issue and would love to be able to be alerted if something is entered into the base that already exists.  I saw another thread from a few years ago that said this was possible with a script.  Anyone have any insight?  Basically I'm thinking that when a new record is created... the script will run and based on the results of that script it either will or won't send me an email.   Hopefully that makes sense!

Page Design is really useful but I can't do a seemingly simple thing.I have a list (view of a table) and I want to layout it and print it in PDF with Page Designer but I can't find a way.It seems you can only print a single record at a time.Can you tell me if there is a way?Thank youDanilo

I have had to change my zapier integration with Airtable because of the API deprecation. It looks like the "API Requests (Beta)" should be an easy transition with the authentication method updated. However, when I put the same URL into it, I can't get it to work and I am not sure what I am doing wrong.My intention is to return the single top record of a view- if there is an alternate way, I could do that too. But I don't know of a way to limit the view to a single record within airtable. This was working great via API.... I just need it to work with the new authentication as well! Any advice as to what I am doing wrong, or an alternate solution would be much appreciated! 

Hi there. Loving Airtable so far! Just wanted to know if there was a way to show on my bar graph block a custom y-axis number. I have numbers on the y-axis from ranging from 0 - 100. Right now the bar graph only go as far as the records go (e.g. till 77). I want to show that 77 is not the max, visually speaking. Something I missed?
