If anyone could shed light on this I would be appreciative. In my example, I have two columns, one with a ResourceName, the other a URL. A third column would hyperlink the ResourceName with the URL. Easy peasy? Not so. Hello!I have practically no experience with Javascript and scripting but I am turning to the Run Script in my Airtable automation as a last resort.In my automation I am finding a list of schools and then using a repeating group to go through each school and find values where the school is in the schedule table. I am running a script in this repeating loop to get all the entries in the schedule where the input value is from the schools. I am doing this so I can then order these according to start date which Airtable doesn't let me do.You can see my automation in the attached screenshot.The script is below and it works but I keep get an error on schoolName (which you can see in my other attached screenshot) telling me: Property 'schoolName' does not exist on type '{}'.(2339) Can anyone help? I don't really know why I am getting this error?

Hi!I'm trying to populate new records based on existing data and I'd prefer not to create a new table. Is this possible via an automation? Here's the use case:1. We receive letters from prisons across the country. When we have not previously received a letter from that facility, a user submits a form with the new facility and selects a state value from a dropdown menu that matches their facility (ex: AK)2. Prison policies are the same across states (all prisons in Alaska have the same length restrictions, for example), so I want to avoid the form-submitter from having to do the research again. Hi All I am attempting to create an automation where a project can be copied or duplicated to another tab with all of its comments still included on it and then deleted from its original location. Does anyone have an idea where I can do this?I am currently using an automation and a script to copy the project name and column fields but I am not sure how to also get the comments.

For a few days now, when I click on Interfaces, I'm redirected on the new interfaces page where I can see all my published interfaces on the left menu, but I don't have any option to create a new one.Has something changed?

I have several helper tables for linking and allowing users to choose from sets of pre-defined values. They do not need to be directly accessed and can confuse end users. I would like to find a way for them to be hidden. I found an old thread about this that is marked as solved, but as far as I can tell, it hasn’t been solved. Some options that could work: Allow these tables to move to a separate Base that can be accessed from the Base the consultants interact with, meaning allow Bases to access data across other Bases in the workspace. This way I could group the tables into functional and boilerplate Bases. Access to a show/hide UX in the Base with the tables listed and a toggle switch for visibility. Off state would hide the tab. System or even a hack that allows for custom CSS. Unfortunately the tabs do not have ids, but I may still be able to hack something with nth child. Are any of these availab

Hi! I’m trying to create a kanban view and it won’t let me choose any of the fields from the table i’m creating a view from - it only allows for me to add in a new field which i don’t want to do. Kind of defeats the point of this view. what button have i not pressed? any help would be appreciated!

Hi everyone! I followed this support article almost exactly in an attempt to repeat yearly deadlines (grant applications), but for some reason, everything automatically copies over except for the new date. I used the formula DATEADD(Date, 365, ‘day’) to create a column that adds a year to each date (which does work), then tried to input that as the date when my automation creates a new record (triggered by it entering a “past events” view, containing any event with a date before today, so that when a day passes it gets added to next year’s calendar). But alas, the date just won’t copy over. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you! <3 The support article I followed:

Hello,I have been googling this for a few days now and really need some help!I am trying to set up an existing customer email reminder automation that uses date the next time we are going to visit a venue. The trigger will start a month or so before the visit date. A new customer fills out a form and a record is created. This gets linked to our Class bookings table with the venue that they have visited. The bookings table is linked to a classes table which shows each venue and the 4 dates we visit that venue. So far i have managed toLookup the dates from Classes in the class bookings table - this gives me an entry with all 4 dates in the same cell. The format of this row is a date. (perfect)In the customers table i am able to use a rollup to get this date across and then use an ARRAYSLICE to get the individual dates i need. They come in a really long form

I am in the middle of creating a form and have had no issues, but all of a sudden the fields I am creating are displaying in grid view but not in the form.

I did some research on the accessibility (as in, WCAG web standards that allow the disability community to participate) and I haven’t found much. So I’m turning to y’all! My question is: does Airtable have any level of accessibility compliance for those who are blind/have low vision? For example, the option to have appropriate color contrast or adjust text size is pretty basic compliance. (If so, how do I enable this?) The ability to navigate entirely with the shift key and a screen reader (what blind people use to hear text read out loud) is on the “A+ you get a gold star!” level of compliance. Anything I can brag to my team about when I introduce them to Airtable? If not, is this something the lovely Airtable team is thinking about or working on? Hi. My nonprofit is using an Airtable base to support and manage data from youth teams that are conducting service-learning projects. I have a table called "Teams" that holds all the data about each team. Then I created a form through Fillout.com where they can create new records in a table called "Project Plans." The first thing they do when filling out the form is to select their Team name, i.e. a field in the Project Plan table that links back to the Teams table.The problem is that before I understood how linked records work (creates a field in the table where it's created, but also a corresponding one back on the table that it links to),  I would notice the new field in table it was linking to and thought- what the heck is this extra field here? And then deleted it.I now need to create lookup and rollup fields in the Teams table, but have broken the link by deleting the corresponding field there. What can I use in a formula field to copy the date from one field to another without changing it into a text string?For context, I have install dates and site visit dates in the same table, and the dates are in the same column for 'start' and 'end'. I am setting up 4 more fields (Site visit start, site visit end, install start, install end) that will remain blank if the date type does not match. However, I can't find any way to keep the date as a number/ date format and not a text string? I basically just want to copy a date (unchanged, not adding or subtracting days or I could use DATEADD), but the only one I can find is DATETIME_FORMAT but this changes it into a string. Can anyone help? I understand I could use automations to copy the date, but I'm trying to limit my use of those because I am nearing the limit of automations per base! So a formula would be much better if possible. Code I'm currently using is below:IF

I have a table where static information about my volunteers lives.In it, I have a field (Static Notes) with an IF statement that looks to see if they have a check mark in "Qualified" (to walk dogs) and if they do, it returns "DDW" (designated dog walker), which then shows up on the schedule.Can I write a nested IF statement that looks at a different field altogether (Training Status) and if they "Need More Training" returns "Trainee" in the Static Notes field (the same field where DDW would appear)?Or do IF statements only distinguish between options in one field? And if that's true, how would I get various information (other qualifications, for example) to show up in my Static Notes field?Thank you! I'm trying to get program participants' records to update automatically when they're listed in another table as having attended a workshop, but AirTable is requiring a Record ID and I don't know how to configure this such that it applies to all records in the table.

Here's the system:Base A: Used for Project Management for an event in January.Interface A: Created on top of Base A for use by other members on the team where data access needs to be considered.Base B: Use for Project Management for an event in February.
