In a long text field is there a way to create a global entry text for some headings so that whenever I want to enter new content i don't have to enter the headings as well?  For example, the headings I use are:VOA ITZAVOA Total sqftML ITZAML Total sqftLA ITZATA ITZA   

I am using Airtable as the backend for my app. I have a Table A for registering users and a Table B for registering restaurants. Through the Google Matrix Distance API, I am using longitude and latitude data to calculate the distance between registered restaurants and user data, obtaining the results in the "distance" column of Table B where the restaurants are registered.However, each automation I run through the script only updates for new users registering, causing interference with the distance results for users already registered. I would like each user to have their own distance calculation without interfering with others. I have no idea how to do this! I believe it might involve a filter or something like user ID .

Hello,I'm building an app and would like help solving an issue. I have a Table A where I register my users. Table B contains the restaurants in my app. I use a Google Maps API to calculate the distance between my users and the restaurants. I'm running an automation script block to update the distance calculation each time a new user enters. However, I want an automation where each user has their own calculation from their location to the restaurant. Any ideas on how to achieve this?

I have a table with work months like here: I'm trying to calculate the start and end datetimes of the month but the formula is giving inconsistent answers. Hi, I’m tracking inventory coming in and out of my warehouse.   I have a shipment table where i enter a record in each time something gets received OR shipped out of the warehouse.   When the material is received i have a field to enter the bin location that the product gets put away to.   That field is a lookup to a linked table where I’ve entered all of the available bin locations that can be chosen.   In the bin location table I’m tracking the project name in a field next to the bin location.  That way i can look at all my bin locations and see which projects are in which locations.  We need to know how many bin locations a project are taking up at a given time.   My dilemma is when material is being shipped out of my warehouse I’d like to be able to re-enter the bin locations the material is leaving and then update the bin location table showing that that bin location is now empty.   Is there a way to do that?  The shipment table has

Hi I really need help for this and I have a deadline. So basically, I was wondering if there's a way that I can create a formula that add's up the number of time "" is used across all fields and shows the result as a number in the "s Used" field.. For example for the highlighted square, since "" was only used once, it would appear as 1. But for the cell above, because "" was used twice across all fields it would be entered as 2. thanks so much! 🙂

I'm trying to build a database comparing similar products and their features. I have a Product table and a Feature table. On the product record I can select the features that particular product has (link to external record, allow linking to multiple records). How would I create a grid-type view that looks something like what's below? I can only seem to get it to show as a single field with a list of linked records. 

On the iPhone I have a table where each record represents a calendar event (gigs for my musical duo).  It used to be that I could an individual record, go to the Date field, and click Create Event and Airtable would create a calendar event in my iPhone's Calendar.  Now, clicking Create Event does nothing.  Is this a known problem?  Will it be fixed?  Is there a workaround?  Thanks for any help.Carl

Hi ,I am creating an airtable automation for recurring task for weekly, daily, monthly, 3 times per week and twice a month  In the next to perform date i used this formula DATEADD({Due Date},SWITCH(Frequency,'DAILY',1,'WEEKLY',7,'MONTHLY',30,'TWICE A MONTH',15,'3 TIMES PER WEEK',3),'days') It works perfectly well for daily, weekly and monthly, twice a month but it doesn't work for  3 times per week i need (Monday, Thursday and Sunday)can you please help me with the formula?

Hello Airtable Friends!I really need some help with my automation.I created an automation for when a record is updated for our team. Basically what I did is when an assignee is changed to another assignee, that new assignee would get an Outlook email saying that the record was reassigned to them.When I go to test it, I get an alert from Airtable saying something went wrong with the automation but it doesn't show me what the exact issue is. I am wondering if its Outlook but I am not sure.Can someone help me out? 

Hi,Ive created a project management workflow where we have a project board that filters into a task board, and tasks are assigned to individuals who check a "complete" box when done. We have a dashboard for each individual where their tasks appear. Because the tasks need to be completed in a certain order (ie "edits" need to happen before "production") and we have different people executing on different parts of the project, it can be hard to know when its your turn with the project. The project manager typically assigns all the tasks out at once so all tasks associated with the project appear on the individuals dashboard simultaneously. Ideally we would only want the project to appear on the persons dash if it was their turn with the project. The tasks are already numbered for order so hypothetically it would be easy to automate one following another. This is my first post to the Airtable community.  I have searched through lots of posts about linking records and tables, but I can't seem to find an answer to this...I have two imported tables that have a StudentID field in each.  When I edit the StudentID field in one Table to change the field type to "link to another record", Airtable deletes all the StudentIDs in the table I am working in.  I am attempting to create a linkage between these tables because I want to know if a student in Table 1 is also in Table 2 (and the student may be in Table 2 multiple times, however I just want to know if the student is in the table...I don't care how many times).   Can someone help me figure out what I am missing?  Many thanks, in advance, for your assistance with this issue!My apologies if this problem has already been solved elsewhere, I just couldn't find it.

Hi all, I use an airtable formula to calculate product prices. I want to use Zapier to automate the process of updating prices on my website when changes are made to prices.As I understand, Zapier wants to use the a "Last Modified Time" field as the reference to know when to trigger the action. The problem I'm having is that I'm not finding a way to point the "Last Modified Time" field at the calculated price field because AFAIK that field cannot monitor computed fields. The airtable documentation recommends pointing the "Last Modified Time" field at one of the editable fields used in the computed fields. This doesn't resolve my issue because Zapier seems to want to pull the value from the field being watched by the "Last Modified Time" field, not the computed field that I need it to. After consulting the airtable documentation I'm starting to be convinced that the workflow I have in mind is not possible (I would be

Hi everyone!I am currently working with two tables (let's refer to them as A and B), wherein table B is synced to table A.My objective is to deduplicate table A, but before doing so, I need to merge the information that is not synced in table B to prevent any data loss (essentially deduping without the deletion part).Is there a method to achieve this?I was contemplating using a script to handle the merge process, but I'm unsure if there's a way to identify whether a field in table B is synced or not.Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance.

Hi,I am trying to write a formula to write the wider region that the project is related to, e.g. if it's in Germany, it's in EMEA. This formula works; however, I now want it to be able to list multiple regions for projects that are taking place in two different countries that aren't in the same region.e.g. a project that is in Germany and in Canada should show 'EMEA, CAN'. Hello! I am looking for some help with correcting this script (I had Copilot AI help write it) for Airtable. I'd like for the  automation to tick a checkbox "Fully Live" in the table "App Status" when a button is pushed in a specific interface.I'll attached screenshots of the script error, the table we'd like to have updated and the script itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated!I am not married to having to use the button in the interface to initiate the automation. I have another table called Monthly RTLs where the button could be added. Hi guys, Is there a way to sync Airtable and Google sheets? I want both apps to update automatically when data is updated/create new from either end. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you in advance. 

 Why change the plans to then hamstring what is already in existence? With the plan changes, the 'pro' plan that we were paying for has now been downgraded significantly. It's really annoying to be using the 'top' plan and for that plan to be degraded, and we lose functionality on our bases. They are forcing us to immediately upgrade or we can't do our work. Can't add new records. Why HALF the storage from those plans? That seems wild to me. Keep them the same at the very least. We can now get more storage, for three times the price. Or, you can keep the former 'pro' plan and only get 10gb. In what world does that make sense? There are no tiers to this setup, it's either all or nothing. And what grinds my gears more is there isn't a transition period for those who have been on the pro plan to figure this out. It's just, 'changes made, so deal with it and pay us more to use AT.' Is there a way to soften the blow for tho
