I am trying to use this to automatically add 15 or 5 days to the contract date. The “calculation” field is an IF statement to calculate which amount of days to add. BUT I cannot figure out how to get the formula to add the days and give me a new date.

I am confused. I do not have very many records but some tables have about 150-250 fields per record.  When I use the interface designer is it the SLOWEST thing to edit, to the point of being useless. Why would this be as I only have like 200 records in most cases? It  also seem to happen in the evening a lot but I do not have any other extra  computer processes running compared to any other times. I'm getting lags of half a sec on selecting fields normally, I have to literally "Select" say "one one thousand"  then move the field.... but then at evening times and such and a few others I'm getting like a  1-3 second lag time on field selection response and occasionally up to 5! My latency is like 27-33 fyi.

I’ve noticed my (custom) apps are taking much longer to load lately, coinciding with a steady increase in records. The apps load records from filtered views, which don’t necessarily have a ton of records in them at a time. Would the amount of records in the whole base affect the speed of the apps, even if the apps in question aren’t loading all of the records in? Thanks!

Hello! Very new here, so bare with me.I have a table of employees. One of the fields in the table is which states the employee is licensed in.I then have tables for each state. In those tables, I would like the names of employees licensed in that state. I will then use tables to keep track of state-specific details, like license number in that state. I'm wondering how I can make it so that if I add an employee record, and then add a state to the state field, that employee also gets added to that state's table.Thanks so much!

I would like to know when a repeating group in Automations is finished. I try to use a number field and update it incrementally but the formula does not seem to work in Automation. Is there any other way?

Hi there, I've done a bunch of research here and on Youtube and I've not been able to replicate what I see here. I have Project and Tasks tables. I've created a template in the Projects table that adds a few tasks And it works - I get the tasks created, when I apply the template to a new project. However, I'd like to add the Project Name to the tasks that are created. I found an example of this in Airtable's docshttps://support.airtable.com/docs/using-record-templates-in-airtableThe Tasks in the far right column shows the Project name in parenthesis.But I cannot replicate this - how do I make this happen?Desired ResultProject = Project ATasks

Hi there,I'm trying to create a field in a table (say Table B), where its output is takes into consideration a condition based on a field in Table B, rather than the original table it is rolling up from (which I know Airtable has a simple filter for).In my "Scheduling" table, I want to be able to enter a single date, or a start and end date. This field will look at all Shoots linked to the Team Member that is linked to this record, and spit back out a list of Shoots that have a start and end date/time that is within the dates I specified in the Scheduling table. [Context: This table is linked to a form, and its purpose is to notify a Team Member when their shoots have been scheduled and a short summary of their earliest and latest by email, triggered by an automated button in Interfaces.]The image below shows the structure I've got going now. Hello all,Hope you all had a good holiday season.I have looked, but can't find anything around this, which I think is simple.  Most of what I am seeing on here looks more complicated than it should be.I have a Date Formula field that I would like to populate with Today's date if a box is checked.  I can get that part working, but the rest of the fields show the #ERROR! message.  I just want to hid the message and show nothing.This is what I currently have:Thank you for any help,Matt 

I am working in Postman. The field in question is "Taxes Owed - PDF". I get the error shown below. If I change the field type to single-line text I don't get an error. I don't want to change the field type. hi all, i have a parent table that is copying data to a child table on a condition. I've written the script and I can handle all the data types except I'm having trouble with the linked field. I have a User table linked to both tables. I keep getting this error: id has incorrect objectId prefix "sel", expecting one of ["rec"]the linked field I'm copying returns this object:{id: "seleCE7wF1kaofYBd", name: "Lucas", color: "cyanLight2"}but the actual record id of "Lucas" on the user table returns "rec6TmmKCTEiSp3BA".How can I fix this? 

Fetch request is built like this, including these headers: But it returns a CORS error — the webhook isn’t returning Access Control Allow Headers… Oddly enough I can get it to work from Postman: And if I follow the proxy outlined here it works as well. Is there a way to make the webhook return that header? Or another solution? Thanks!

I'm new to interfaces, so I'm only starting to understand them. I have recently created a list layout Interface with multiple pages within this Interface. When updating the record detail layout on one of the pages, this layout is then updated across all pages.Can you have different detail layouts across pages of same Interface or do you have to create new Interfaces?Any help would be appreciated 😁

I have several bases that I have removed nearly all the data and they still show as reaching plan limits or over limits. Even when I duplicated them and remove ALL THE DATA from the base it shows as over limits.This is making my DB's unusable and I can not upgrade not knowing how or why an empty data base can be showing as hitting limits.Or when I remove 90% of the data in a base that we have been using for two years that barely had 300 rows is constantly hitting limits and not being able to determine which limits we are hitting so we can manage the data and ensure we are being efficient.

Is there a reason why you don't need to verify your email address to access Airtable? I was shocked to discover this isn't a requirement. I have an interface set up so that only the current user can view sets of information, but I found that it's possible for someone to create an Airtable account with someone else's email and view the information associated with that email address. Email verification is not required to access the interface and see data that should only be seen by the actual user. Are there plans to address this? Is anyone using a workaround to make this more secure? Is it related to being on the Team plan?

I just realised this simple formula, on most fields does not work . Test was done on a Single-Line field. IF(test1 != BLANK(), "Not Blank", "Blank") This will always return "Not Blank".  A workaround seems to be to do the below: IF(Not(test1 = BLANK()), "Not Blank", "Blank") Any idea why this is so? Or is there a simpler work to check for 'Not Blank/Empty'?

I'm trying to use automations to link a comma-separated string of names to a separate table.I have to pass the name from Table A, to a column titled "Parse Match" (because names in A do not match record titles in B) in Table B, then link them back in Table A.This was easy to do via automations for the "Lead Sponsor" column, because there's only one name to link.But I'm stuck figuring out how to link a string of comma-separated last names in table A, column "Co-Sponsors" to the "Parse Match" column in Table B, then back to Table A.Any suggestions? If this requires a script to separate the comma-separated values per record, that's beyond my abilities right now… 😛Table ATable B

Team, I know in Project/program management “Gantt Chart” is often thought as the best tool to show and manage dependencies, but was curious if there are any other methods that are more useful. Most of our projects are related to Digital and Business transformation. I have seen some examples of network diagram, dependency maps etc. Wanted to see if some one has used it effectively and share best practices? Thanks
