I've read the solutions for how to update a multiple select field without overwriting via automation. However, I have a bit of a wrinkle—this doesn't seem to be possible when using a Repeating Group.The background:I have a list of live performances in a table called Shows. I have a list of performers in a table called Artists. The two tables are linked via a Linked Record field so that Artists (one or more) can be added to specific shows.Some Artists perform on shows year after year. Hello everyone! I'm fairly new to Airtable and have a question as I'm building my database.I've found it helpful for me to assign "focus times" for tasks independently from their due date in previous systems, so I added a Single Select field named "Status" that has several options: Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Backlog, Completed, and On Hold. I have attached a screenshot of how that looks.Is there a way to create an automation that (at midnight) automatically updates anything with the Tomorrow status to have a Today status instead? I was able to create an automation to change a singular record, but I failed to find a method to update them all. I'm not sure if it's impossible, or if I just don't understand automations enough yet.Regardless, thanks so much, and have a great day!

Hello all, I have a question, and hopefully there's some type of solution to this issue. I managed 3 properties, but for now - we can just focus on 1. Property A has a total of 100+ units. When an end user fills out the form - they type in the unit number - and this is how I have my automation set up:As you can see from the above image, I have a find record and it will update that record for it's respective tenant. Example: The concern here I'm facing is, because Property A has 100+ units, is there a simpler way of creating automations to find records for each unit?Here's a view of the configuration for Property A, finding the "101" integer:

Hey y'all, hoping you can help me solve a thorny issue. We use Airtable in a big way across all of our teams, and we've built a Daily Duties board to give ownership and sightline to the must-happen daily needs of the business. Individual team leads assign their team members to the tasks weekly.The issue I'm having is in maintenance - currently we are duplicating the empty records weekly which is cumbersome and time intensive. I'm sure there is a way to do this via automations, but the issue I run into is date/time fields - running an automation to create records at a date/time, but neither configuration for start/end time - static or dynamic - is getting me what I'm looking for. We have both a start and end time so that it can be easily shown in a calendar view like the attached image. Any advice? I've bopped around here on the boards for a bit now but haven't found a particular case that matches what I'm looking to solve. Thanks!

I am working to automate a process that feels like I should be able to script but have been struggling. Admittedly I am new to scripting so I may not be understanding how to structure this, I have asked around, tried to get an assist from Chat GPT, and poked and prodded this along but the final outcome has eluded me. Let me break down the intended function and drop the code in. Any help is greatly appreciated.  Intended function:The automation is initiated when a record enters the "Meetings" view of the "Connections" table, there is a text field called "Attendee Emails" where a formula has collected and concatenated emails using ", " as a delimiter. We are passing that through to the script as an input variable called "attendeeemails". What we need is for the automation to go through the string stored in "attendeeemails" and pull each email out one by one, and check each individual email against the "Email" field in the "Full view" in the "People"

Hello,Not sure if I overlooked the obvious, but I could not do the following which seems simple :I have a table with contacts (persons) with their mail, function etc. They are linked to 1 Company in the companies tables, companies which have an address and Zip code. I need to display a list of all contacts filtered by the Zip code entered in Filters: how can I retrieve that value from their company ?I already placed all companies in a nice Googlemap addons so salespersons can visualize where clients are, but values were all in the companies table, whereas here I need to show the contacts emails to reach them if someone visits their region. Thank you !

Hi, I’m looking to build MVP using Airtable. So, I would create Airtable form where customer would choose answers. After form is filled based on the answers, at the end of the form customer should see XY amount. Customer should be able to pay that amount via PayPal or Stripe. I've just read that there will a limit of 1000 calls per month to the API... I use the API on several base to expose data on small website but I can't find where is current state of those usages... So I can't have any idea about my monthly number of calls - How can I check this ? There are statistics of items in base, automations, users... but where is the API consumption state ?Thank you.

Is it possible to have an input Mask in the tables / forms? I want a field to be displayed in the format S0123, or another field to be displayed as 4 digits such as 0025 (not simply 25). Thanks in advance all.

Hi allI have an interface which allows users to add new rows, using the 'Record review' interface layout and the + button form at the top of the list of records on the left.I have a simple linked field, linking to a company table. Why doesn't it display any data from the company table as it does in some grid views when linking data? The linked field has the code as a primary field, but it has extra fields such as name and type etc, that would be really useful for the user to see which company they are linking to. This seems like a bug?  any suggestions?thanks

Is there a way to easily setup and use “constants” across an entire Base?For instance, the price of oil per barrel might be 40. I have a lot of formulas that depend on that price. In addition, I might have several numbers like this that need to be referred to from multiple formulas - for instance the /mile that the IRS accepts for the mileage deduction, the number of tons of gravel contained in a gravel truck, etc.The advantage of the “constants” is that, if the price of oil changes, I need to change just one number in one place; I don’t have to hunt through tons of formulas looking for a hard-coded “40” in the formula.Is there an easier way to do this?

I am looking for something like Smarty Streets or apparently there is an add-on to Excel (Windows only) from Pitney Bowes that will at least check to see if the address is possible (i.e., it will tell you that there is a 100 Block of Main Street, but not that 123 Main Street actually exists, as I understand it). I am developing a Base with Form entry, where people can enter addresses. In the past (not on Airtable), I have had to export a special CSV file with addresses, submit it to Smarty Streets, reimport it into the sheet. I would love to have addresses validated as they come in. Thanks!

HiI would like to create a number field "recall" that each time the record is update make something like that: recall = recall +1.I used the automation with the update record filter and I try to apply formula on the recall filed by used a formula like tahs: SUM({recall}, 1) but it is returned an error about the format of the value.Do you have idea how to increment the value?For the moment I fixed by add string +1 and the result is "+1+1+1+1+1" for each time the update is execute.Thanks

I am trying to combine an IF formula with a DATETIME_DIFF formula and I am not getting the results expected. Goal: Determine the difference between two dates to see how long something takes, but never have a value of "zero." So i have a problem that i have been trying to figure out for awhile now. Some of the data that I am tracking contains Julian Dates when i paste the data in. It is currently in the format of YDDD where 9045 = 2/14/19 or 0105 = 4/14/20 . I have been using excel to convert these 4 digit Julian Dates into Calendar Dates using the following formulas. For 2019: =DATE(2010+LEFT(C1),1,RIGHT(C1,3)) for 2020: =DATE(2020+LEFT(C1),1,RIGHT(C1,3)) This has been by far the fastest solution i had been able to find at the time to convert the date as all it takes is a few minutes to copy paste from airtable into excel and then copy paste into a different column in airtable the converted date from excel. So the hierarchy should be:If ANY of the project status contains "ongoing", then master project status to reflect "ongoing"If "ongoing" does not exist and any of the project status is "planned", then master project status to reflect "planned"If "ongoing" and "planned" do not exist and ALL of the project status is "hold", then master project status to reflect "hold"The remaining should reflect as "concluded"So in the below table, the correct reflection should be:Row 1, 3, 4, 6, 8 should be "ongoing" (because "ongoing" applies to any)Row 5, 7 should be "planned"Row 2, 9, 10 should be "concluded" Thank you!!

Hello!Situation:I have a table named « Leads » in which is all the information of my prospects (first name, last name, email, phone Numbers).These prospects, via a Tally sent by email, inform their needs with regard to 9 products (always the same). Some customers take all product references, others only 1, nothing is mandatory.With my current organization and a Make automation, the columns that have the title of the different product references are also in the leads table, which is not very optimized.So I created a new "products" table in which a row corresponds to a 1 product and each column to information containing the latter (name, reference, power).Here is my question: how can I ensure that when prospects indicate the products they want via the Tally, the information is properly / correctly stored on airtable?I don’t understand how to establish good relation/look up.The purpose being in the second step to concatenate the p
