Hi everybody!I managed to sent emails from linked table. But now I ran into a problem. I have two linked tables, one for RMA requests from customers and another for a list of repairers with their emails. When I want to send a product to the selected repairer, I want it to be sent to an email that is entered in another table of repairers. This works, but many times it sends the same email to other emails that are in the same table (so it sends an email to the entire list of all emails in this table). When I was working on automation, I used lookup field of the email address of the srepairer from the second table and sent the email from the first table (customer requests, because it is related to a specific product and customer). In the automation for the "to" field, there is no way I can select anything other than a "list" of emails.. could this be the cause of my problem?

I have two tables that are linked to each other: Candidate Table and Position TableEach candidate record has contact information (email) and is linked to a specific position record which also means that each position record may be linked to multiple candidate records. Each position record also has a status: Active, On Hold, Lost, etc.I would like to be able to send automated emails to all candidates linked to a position that has changed its status from Active to On Hold to update them on what's going on. What would be the best way to go about this automation?

Hi all,I am curious to learn more about what linked and un-linked data can be used in the 'Find Records' action in Automations. This happens frequently, and I am fairly sure that it is related to field data types. Linked record fields can only be used in certain instances, and lookup fields can only be used in others. Sometimes I have had to create 'String' fields through formulae to lookup other records. My ask: does anyone have any links to learning resources or documentation where i can learn what the limitations/benefits of certain field types are. We are managing the database through a front-end, and no fields are updated manually, so the vagaries of these data types and their capacity/limitations is quite a challenge!An example of my issue is included in the screenshots attached:For reference, I am working with 5 tables:

Hi there, I'm having issues with formatting when pulling data from Airtable into Formstack Documents (integration via Zapier). Detailed explanation below.The Profile field in Airtable has a large body of text and is formatted with line spacing between each paragraph. However, when I create a document merge via Zapier into Formstack, the formatting is gone in the merged PDF. All the other content in the document is fine as it's part of the PDF template, whereas this Profile section is dynamic so it must be pulled from Airtable. Other fields are pulled from Airtable, but they usually only go over one line so I haven't noticed any line spacing issues.I'm not sure if this needs to be resolved via Formstack itself, or if it's the way I've set up the PDF template in Adobe Acrobat. Or perhaps something else entirely.Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

We want to give access to the form through our website so customers can register. I now need this form to be available in both French and English. My concern is mainly with dropdown fields. Hi. This seems like something trivial, but I can't seem to find any way to do this. I had synced two tables from a base to another.  During that time, various fields were renamed in Base A (the source table).  I noticed that the fields in Base B do not seem to get renamed as well, yet the sync remains active.  How can I know which is the fieldB name in Base B, which maps to fieldA in BaseA, without having to resort to guessing? 

I have a Date field (Date Asset Added) whose value is entered manually formatted like this:12/8/2023Another field (Date RM) contains this formula: DATEADD({Date Asset Added}, 0, 'day')  which outputs this: 12/8/2023.  12:00am I want to execute an automtion when these two values match, which they don't. So I tried using thiis: DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Date Asset Added}, 0, ‘days’), ‘M/D/YYYY’)) which outputs this: 2023-12-08T00:00:00+00:00  I think that DATETIME_FORMAT turns the date value into text. Hi there -- I'm using Airtable to build a database of jounalists on Meta's Threads. I've made a form so people can submit their details: https://airtable.com/appWgEz1pjYySqFTj/pagzqw2grYU9luJob/form My base consists of four tables: Journalists, locations, publications and beats. The form primary creates a new record in the Journalists table, but I'd like to use the same form to add new records in the other three when necessasry -- i.e. if someone works for a publication that isn't listed.Is this possible? With apologies if this has been answered before -- I did a search around but couldn't see anything relevant.CheersDave

I’m trying to automate an order ID. So when a new row is added, it is given an automatic ID. The existing ID from pre-AirTable looks like: LS000000 E.g. LS and then six zeros. The first order should look like LS000001, the next order like LS000002 etc Currently I use: Field 1 - AutoNumber (AutoID) Field 2 - Formula = CONCATENATE(“LS00”, (AutoID)) Which gives LS001, LS002 etc. It looks right when we get to LS001000 e.g. all 6 digits now present. Any ideas how to force the six zeros from the start?

Hello,I want to make an automation to send an email at a specific time. When I choose the trigger "at a scheduled time" and go to write the message of the email, I can write a message, but I cannot input any data from the base. When I click on the blue plus sign in the upper right corner, the only options are "actual trigger time," "expected trigger time," and "next trigger time" (pictured below). How can I pull data from the base, such as "dear [insert name]"?Thank you.  

Hello everyone, Please I need your help I would like to send out an email with two answering options referenced from my table in my base and the user should just be able to pick one option in the email with just one click and automatically the value are being transmitted into the base directly without opening the form. I don't want any form to be seen after pressing the button I just want it to be submitted automatically.What i have done is to create a form and write a prefill url formular that prefills the form with the option and an extra field that will also be prefilled that works only in the base but when i reference it in the email and preview it doesn't appear at all in the email.Would it be also possible for the form to be submitted automatically once the button is pressed ?I would really appreciate any suggestion or insight Thank you.

I want my automation to update the record when it is complete and then remove or delete any/all the attachments in a particular field, how can I do this?

Hello,Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.We have a ticket system whereby people submit by form an action and it's completed with a time stamp; with a goal of completing every request within 8 hours.Currently we determine if the time completed was within 8 hours of it being submitted and that generates a "1" in a formula column.  That column provides a percentage of the amount of 1's filled and gives us a service level.Recently I was asked to refine this solution to only consider submissions during business hours (Mon-Fri between 9am-6pm).This way, anything submitted outside of business hours doesn't count against the 8 hour service level until it's within spec.If something is submitted at 6:01pm, the timer freezes until 9am the next day given it's not a weekend.Alternately as long as something is submitted within business hours the timer does not stop even if it exceeds business hours or goes into a weekend.I'm

I want to automatically copy a specific field from one table into another table. This needs to go to a specific airtable id - is this possible? 

I have searched Airtable Help and Google and haven’t located a solution for the following issue: I have created simple formulas in Currency and Number fields. The results are always rounded up. I’ve tried different options (Integer, decimal places) but they made no difference. How do I get Airtable to show the correct result without rounding up? Thank you!

I have a target base in a Workspace that is synced to several other bases all in one separate workspace. If I move this target base into the same workspace as the others, will this cause any issues with syncing or interface design?

Created a basic table in Grid View. Shared and embedded the List and was able to select multiple records, then select Download CSV and export the selected records. Nothing changed in the table, share, etc but now when selecting download CSV the selected rows are unselected. Even if all Rows are selected as soon as Download CSV is clicked the selection clears. In have searched the community and entered a support ticket and it does not seem like anyone has an answer here- I can download my entire table as a csv but that is not what I want- just want to choose the selected rows

First post here- I know I can easily build a form and connect results to Airtable- but can I connect a Form to an existing table for the user to select data from it? I have a table of workers by department with email address- I want the user to be able see and search this table (no problem) and then select users by email address from the table entries that will be submitted with the form.

I have a co-worker who can't "star" any bases on his homepage to favorite them. He can star the one workspace he has, but not the bases. When you hover over the base, the greyed-out star isn't there. When you click the three dots, there is no option there to "star." He has creator permissions for the workspace. What am I missing?

Hoping for some expert guidance on this approach building a reference Table to our BOX folders. AirTable created based on a BOX file report. Zapier BOX Find by filename is working. Import of text fields works as expected. looking for assistance on how to capture a “thumbnail” image (.png 94x94) in an attachment field. Is there a way through Zapier to pull and populate an attachment? I may be jumping too far ahead, but would this require an automation/scripting block using GET? developer.box.com

I use the Mac Os App and I'm used to have several windows for several bases/interfaces open at the same time but, for a few days now, I can't do it anymore. The option in the "File" menu of the app is unavailable and I have no idea why. I tried to uninstall/reinstall the app and it's still the same...Anyone have the same problem ? Hi, I am trying to count the number of months from the Start Date till today.  The actual day of the 'Start Date' doesn't matter.  For example, if 'Start Date' is 9/20/23 and today is 12/11/23, I want to count the number of months that have passed: Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec = 4.  I have tried this formula: DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(),{Start Date},'months') but, I know that doesn't work. I have been searching the community and haven't found the right solution.  Any help would be appreciated.

If you pay for a Team Plan for your Workspace and another person adds you as a Collaborator to a Base they own (and they also pay for a Team Plan), are they charged for you as a Billable Collaborator too?
