As some of you may know, I’ve spent the past year, at least, battling a debilitating physical condition. For the last few months, this expressed itself as near-disabling reflected pain in my arms and shoulders that made working at a keyboard – or focusing on any task more complicated than rereading genre fiction – virtually impossible. Although the condition was finally diagnosed mid-November, complications (a two-month pause to reschedule surgery with an in-network physician amenable to my insurance provider; the scorched-earth arrival of Covid-19) pushed my surgery back to April 10. (Fortunately [?], the delay meant my situation had deteriorated to the point the procedure was no longer considered elective; otherwise, you’d be reading this in October.) In the airtable manual (https://support.airtable.com/docs/interface-element-button) there ist the following description: AppearanceBefore moving on to further interface configuration or publishing your interface, you may want to rename/label the button or change its color to provide more context to collaborators who are interacting within the interface you are building. You can also have the button update colors and/or label after the button has been clicked. I saw this function in the past, but can't find it consistently. Maybe I'm just don't see it or was it removed? I also can't find any thread or comment about this.S

Is it possible to hide or display certain fields in a table based on the value of another field? Basically, conditionally. I am new to Airtable.  I have a base of speaking engagements.  I want to send an automated reminder to my boss when the engagement is 5, 3, and 1 day away.  I am able to get it to work the first time but I can't get it to know that the time is getting closer.   From what I read, DATETIME_DIFF used with NOW() doesn't update daily.  How to get this to work?

In airtable, I've programmed a calendar with dates and times for specific events. Hello,I am having an unusual experience in Interface Designer's "Checklists" which is causing a problem for me...When I have added a Text Box element to my Interface, and use the "Checklist" function (this is *not* the Airtable field type CheckBox), it's behaving strangely. When I am editing the interface, I can check/uncheck the Checklist. But when I've published it and I'm in the "normal" user view of the Interface, I cannot check/uncheck the Checklist boxes. So, if I "check" a box while editing, and then publish the interface, then the checkbox is stuck in the "checked" status. Likewise, if I "uncheck" a box while editing, and then publish the interface, then the checkbox is stuck in the "unchecked" status. I cannot change it either way from the User View.This is surprising to me. Does anybody know how to get the checklists to be able to check/uncheck when I'm using

I have a base that I use for onboarding new users. New records are created via a fillout form. I want to create a linked record in my Agents & Staff table, as well as my phone directory table when a new record is created in onboarding. I know how to link to an existing record, but I am stuck on creating a new record and linking.

Hello you wonderful people! Small roadblock I've encountered that I am hoping someone can help with. I would like to use Airtable for our team to record meeting notes. When a new record is created in that table, it would be great to have some text pre-fill, much like in the manner default values can be assigned to some Field types. Since the default option (as far as I can tell) doesn't exist for Long Text Field type, I figured I would use an automation. I tried a simple test. Hi everyone,My team and I are trying to create URL previews for AirTable share links. The URL preview extension works for other URL types, such as Google Sheets, but we are seeing "No preview" when we select a cell with AirTable share link. It's the same issue whether the share link is for a base or for a table view.While looking through online documentation, I saw that the format of the link that's generated for us is different from the format I see in the documentation. Ours is in the format "https://airtable.com/app[random-string]/shr[random-string]/tbl[random-string]" or "https://airtable.com/app[random-string]/shr[random-string]",  while the online documentation shows the format "https://airtable.com/shr[random-string]".I'm not sure if that is the cause of the URL preview failing, but was wondering if anyone else encountered

Anyone else having issues logging into Airtable with two-factor authentication? The code that is supposed to be sent via text message to my phone is not going through, so I am unable to login ☹

upgrading to Airtable's Enterprise plan would remove the base row limits and allow more automations, but as of my knowledge , it is very expensive around 10k$?We have a large dataset that exceeds the 100,000 row limit per Airtable base. We also need more than the 25 automations allowed in the base. Upgrading to Enterprise is not feasible due to high cost.  We're looking for more affordable solutions to handle our large dataset size and automation needs within Airtable's business solutions. Has anyone found creative ways to structure large datasets across multiple linked bases or integrate affordable supplementary tools to overcome Airtable limits?We'd love to hear any cost-effective ideas or solutions that don't involve upgrading to the expensive Enterprise tier.Even partial solutions could give us ideas to explore further. We greatly appreciate any insights the community can offer!

Hello, everyone,I'm trying to create a email off of the scheduled time trigger that gives the recipients a list of the current records in a view (aka for review). The records in the view have critical documents that I need in the email, but I am running into an issue where because I have to get the records from Find Records instead of triggering off of their appearance in the view, the attachments can't be added, even if I make the fields they would be in visible in the grid.If anyone has any recommendations, I would love to hear it as the individuals receiving these emails are not going to be active in the bases themselves.P.S. If anyone is curious, this is my current automation:Trigger: At Thursday at 11AM -> Find Records based on view (x) -> Send Email (Use grid with relevant information.) The grid contains the attachment fields relevant but always show as empty.

I'm clicking on interfaces and start new interface. It brings me to a page that shows me the type of interfaces you can create but there is no button to press. It looks like there is a header text at the top of the page, but I can't even scroll the page up or down. So I tried in a different browser and the same happens. I'm the only creator so it's not an issue with having access. I'm having the same issue in Tools when trying to change permissions in a drop down menu. I can't even scroll through the top one to see the options. The page won't scroll. Any ideas?

Hi!Does anyone know how to remove access to an interface once it's shared? I shared an "editable" interface that I created for my creators with a read-only user so she can't interact with it. I created a read-only version with a form so she could submit information, but now I can't unshare the editable interface. I don't see an option to "remove access" with her account. What gives?I have a Pro account if that helps.

I want to download attachments from one of my tables via the API locally:If I open and download the file from the UI, it seems to download them from a S3 server. Is there any way to automatize or mimic this behavior via the API?
