I'm new to my company and there are a lot of existing bases set up that I have access to where I can use the Gantt chart feature and other features on the Team Plan. When I go to make my own base, mine are on the free plan. I'm a paid user, so is the team plan based on the workspace? I'm confused why I'm paying for Airtable but have limitations with my bases that other ones do not have.If I do need to be granted access to the workspace on the team plan, is there a way to not have all bases visible to me, just the ones I've been invited to?

trying to create a standard column names to be in multiple tables acroess a data base- the data below differes so I don't want to link the WHOLE column - just the top field names- anyone know how to do this? 

When using the interfaces in Airtable, I face a strange problem. When I create a new interface, I can set a filter. When I like the interface, I would like to duplicate the interface, but with a different filter. How can I do this? Thank you!, Simon

I am running a function on gform_after_submission in WordPress. It creates an new record in a large AT. We are finding more often than not the submissions works in Gravity Forms but the record is not created in AT. I have error checks in my function that makes the AT connection and it doesn't throw anything, including any error from the curl itself. It seems to leave the function formatted correctly and without error. no curl_error.This happens maybe 8 out of 10 submissions. We can find nothing different about the data in this submissions. It seems to be on the AT side of things. No one throws an errorIs there any log where I can see if these submissions make it to AT and are being rejected? I need some help on where to look next! Please and thank you.NOTE: Updating records from the same form works just fine. Never errors. It is the creation of a NEW RECORD that doesn't go.Frustrated. Jon 

Hello below is a table of scores and the corresponding status. I also have a risk register for each risk I want to be able to select the probability (1-5) and the Imapct (1-5) and it automatically returns the status as defined by the table below. Is it possible? Is there a way to have a button on the interface run a script or automation to export data to a csv? If it can be done with a script please advise on the script code needed. Thank you in advance.

For context, I am building an email automation that is sent every work day (Monday-Friday). The email would display any of the task records that are due on that particular day that the email is sent out. My problem is that Airtable's scheduling timing trigger is limited to posting every single day. I would not like to send out an email on the weekend.I cannot use "When a record is updated" as a trigger as it would send an email for every single task record that is due today, whereas I am trying to send only one email a day. I would appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

Hi,I am trying to create a simple IF Statement to produce the result PASS or FAIL if the value in another column is >= 80%:  In Column 1 ('% germination rate on second check') are % figures with values ranging from 0% to 100%. The purpose of the Column 2 ('PASS/FAIL'), is to produce the word 'PASS' if the value of Column 1 is >= 80%, or 'FAIL' if otherwise. Currently all cells in Column 2 are showing 'FAIL', irrespective of the % figure showing in Column 1. Is this some kind of syntax or formatting error on my end? Here is my formula: IF({% germination rate on second check} >= 80, "PASS", "FAIL")Thanks for the help! 🙂

Hello, I am making a special CRM. I have customer information (name, phone, address…) and with this information, I would like to fill a google doc (there are variables like {{name}} and they have to be replaced with airtable data ). I am used to javascript but I am a beginner in the API world. I have already tried that: I don’t know how I can tell my script to only use the data from the row where my checkbox is checked (and how to tell Airtable to run my google App script when the checkbox is checked. I have some base level automations and table links created, but I am now experiencing difficulty creating further links.Three main tables: StudentsClass ListClass PriceCurrent links: Students to Class Lists. Class Lists table has hours per class. Based on classes students are put in (in Class Lists), it changes their total hours (in Students). On Students table there is a Roll Up that calculates total hours students are in based upon their Class List. Class Price table is connected (vaguely) to Students table, but establishing the correct link to make things

I am trying to build a workflow for email verification for members when they join my database.  The idea that when they complete the signup form it triggers an "email verification" email with a hyperlink. When the new member clicks on the hyperlink it (1) triggers an automation confirming email verification and registering that on the database and (2) send the user to a confirmation page.So I am wondering if there is a way to create a hyperlink that triggers an action/automation in Airtable.  Any help appreciated. 

Hello!I run a grant application processing Airtable base that needs to seamlessly take titles of records, notably the name of the organization, and link it to other facets of my database. However, when some records to linked to other tables, it contains quotation marks around the linked record. My system does not change the record name by any means such that it is crucial that the names stay the same since my automations require to search records in other tables to grab information. Help would be appreciated! Here is a picture of what is happening to a linked record. I suspect that the ",Inc." might freak out Airtable to quote the text. 

Hi,To explain a bit : We have workshops that happen on different dates and people can register to those in a form.So I created a formula with the name of the workshop + the date of the workshop. I want that, in the form, people can only chose on date at the time. Now they can register for multiple dates and it creates complicate data for confirmation emails and reminders.So I was thinking that if the formula (Name + date) was a single select, they could only register at one but if there is another way, I take any advices 🙂Can anyone help me? 

hi,i am interested by the update of API key, i have some application where i linked them with some table in airtable, so for that i have this question : after January 2024 the request of getting data from the table in airtable will stop working in my app, so if that true what i need to do, i need to update my application in store or not ?

I have an automation that when a certain field is met, a google calendar event is created spanning a week. The issue that I am running into is that the event is showing up as "busy" in my google calendar, which is preventing calls from getting booked into my calendar for the duration of that week. Is there a way to ensure that the status is set to "free" in the automation when creating this event?

Hi, We are setting up Airtable to manage multiple clients with multiple projects and teams. Each client has is own Base, and each project has its own task list. Is there a way to see all tasks across all projects in one place? One of the main problems we are trying to solve is to find a way for each team member to see all of his or her tasks in one place even though they are located in various bases. I'm attempting to setup a Webhook from Jotform to Airtable. However, I'm never able to get past the Test portion.I have:Started the Automation in Airtable, selected When webhook received.Copied the webhook URL provided by Airtable, and pasted into the Jotform Integration Webhook.Submitting the form in JotformAirtable always says This URL has not received any requests recently.I setup a webhook API on https://webhook.site/, and updated Jotform with new webhookSubmitted form again, and immediately received webhook message on https://webhook.site/.This leads me to believe that Airtable is not functioning correctly. Is there a reason why Airtable would not properly accept my webhook? Account type? Form type?

Hello,I cannot figure out why I have a field which has multiple records linked to it even though I have not selected 'Allow linking to multiple records'.My tables are 'Materials' and 'Inventory by Location'. The top photo is 'Inventory by Location' table showing the linked field to the Materials. Preferably, if materials are linked to a storage location a new record would be created instead of linking multiple materials to one inventory record because I have not selected 'Allow linking to multiple records', or if I need to make an automation for that to happen then airtable would block linking of multiple records instead of what has happened in the photo. Also, I would like to know why, in the bottom photo, there are repeated links to the same storage locations. Thanks for any advice/clarification!

I'm not impressed with the refund process, and would like this issue to be addressed by staff. I know the forum is mainly users, but there is no phone number by which to reach staff. I was prompted by the automatic reply I received after emailing Airtable Support to leave a post in the forum as this triggers a response time within 72 hours. Evidently, I'm not the only one forced to go this route only to be repeatedly told forum members can't do anything, but we go through the motions nonetheless in the hopes of having our issue dealt with in a timely manner. So, my useless and ridiculous post poses the following questions in the hope that someone compiling forum activity for internal reports will flag it:1- Why is there no phone number by which to reach staff for billing issues? We've removed forms because me and my other users need to input info on mobile most of the time and if one makes a mistake or needs to adjust data, a form is not user friendly (submit form > realise mistake (or not) > open airtable app > find relevant table > edit). However, a spreadsheet isn't *that* user friendly on mobile either. It can be easy to miss an input column. Some columns generate information for the user as they're submitting data, so inputting data is also creating actions for the user at the same time. Therefore, not every column is an input column, and it can be easy to miss one on mobile view.This could quite easily be resolved with colour coding columns - or some way to highlight input/vital columns. It would also make certain complicated tables easier to read and interpret! I am using a mid formula to extract a string of text. The string appears as expected in the cell, but when Make (Integromat) runs the search it is adding an extra space before the string. " <string>" If the empty space is present, wouldn't I see it in the cell?I have checked over an over again to verify there is no extra space in the formula in Make. I have also changed my formula to +2, +2.Variations of this MID formula works with other use cases, this is the only one inserting an extra space. I'm working on a project wherein I'm trying to display the diversity characteristics of several universities (50+). I have an existing base with a list of all the universities I'm studying with various facets as fields across (location, size, focus, student life comments, admission criteria etc), but I also wanted to include information on the demographic makeup of each school. Ex: X University is 25% White, 15% Black, 10% Latino, and so on. What's the most efficient way to go about this so that this is also able to be displayed as pie chart via the Charts extension? I started by making an additional base, but as a beginner user I stumbled trying to find a usable format that allowed for readability and reporting. 

I have a list of schools and I'm trying to track demographics I have about the schools:raceincome levelsgendersI have reports with the aggregate data, not the individual student records. Therefore I'm not able to do rollups but tracking each demographic for an individual students in a linked table.What would be the best way to store the aggregate values, so that I can generate charts per school or across all schools? These categories have different amounts of choices too.

Hi - I’m running into a problem when I try to group a list of events. The dates are from Dec. 21 up to Dec. 22 and I’ve one column witha formula that extracts the month from the date column. I can sort my table by the date field and it’s all fine, but when I then group by month, the order gets messed up. How can I create a grid view that is sorted by month and shows the month in the right order? And in addition with a two times December (21,22) entry?? Thanks for any help!
