Hello - I could use some help with a formula or automation to get what I'm trying to achieve to happen.We have job numbers that are coded as follows:23 = year1 or 2 = office identifier0001 = job number for the yearExample: 2310023 What I need to happen is the next sequential 4-digit job number to be added to the year and office identifier each time a form is submitted to create a new record, and it needs to reset each year so that on the first '24 job, it starts over at 0001. Does this make sense?

I am in year 2 of using a pro license of my Airtable workspace. My organisation is based out of Mumbai, India and since the end of last year our central bank does not allow us to make payments that do not require a two factor authorisation.Luckily our payment went through the first time around last year as we made the payment prior to this rule being enforced. This year when we had to pay for the annual subscription renewal we used a colleagues American bank card to make the payment as to avoid any issues - this card was used by another team in the organisation to successfully make a payment for an Airtable pro license a couple of weeks ago. This was the second American card we'd tried to use. Both were declined and we can't figure out why. Airtable support hasn't been of too much help and we risk losing a lot of data. Any and all suggestions welcome.PS: We are trying to update an account with approx. 7 collaborators

I’m looking for a way to take a duration field (eg 1:32) and show it as “1 hours, 32 minutes” like with text. I’m imagining there might be a formula I could use, but I’m not sure the best way to go about it. Any thoughts would be great!

After creating my tokens i cant see my api keys and i have tried everything Now im trying to create an Oauth and i cant seem to get the hang. i'm Trying to get my bot to input data into airtables and also get information from the same table but i have not been able to get it to work on make.com i already figured out how to get it to my google sheet via make.com but im not able to call back information hence my need for airtables

I am currently able to generate invoices for my tenants by filling in the table and using extensions to populate a pdf. However, I would like to be able to create an invoice like this and then automate a trigger that generates the next invoice a month later for each tenant. Does anyone know if this possible and automations to try? Thanks

Hi everyone,Whenever I use the search function on interfaces pages with a view layout (list, grid, kanban, etc.) I tend to get errors such as this one. It's almost certainly correlated to the underlying table size (and the number of records displayed on the interface), but I'm surprised that the issue occurs on a relatively small table (~400 records). Has anyone faced a similar situation? 

We need to take applicants and manually approve them. We intend to do this by using a status dropdown field to kick off automation when changed from 'Pending' to 'Approved'. We are concerned about accidental human error selections triggering the automation. Is it possible to implement any of the following mitigations: Prompt a user, upon input, to confirm their input before committingBuild a pause into the automation, during which changing the status back to 'pending' will abort the automation. 

I have written the script below to select records from one table in my base and insert them as new records in a second table.  The script is working, however it times out after running for 30 seconds.  The process is selecting and creating about 200 records.   Is there a more efficient way of writing this script so that it happens faster and doesn't hit the 30 second limit?   I've read that maybe i need to create an array so that multiple records are inserted at once, but I am brand new to scripting and not sure how to achieve this.Any updates / changes / suggestions would be most welcome!Thanks    //Script Purpose: //1. Is there still no way to create a new option in a select field in an Entry Form?Or a workaround?

Can I create an automation (or formula field) to do the following?When a record is created in the "Deals" table,  if the Move-in date of that record is within the range of the start & end dates of a record in the "Payments" table,  link the new Deals record to the particular record in the Payments table.

I am trying to update the Airtable base with a google sheet trigger “When a row is created”. The second part of the automation- setting actions fails at the setting of record ID, Could not find a solution on what to link. The record ID dosent exist. Solutions please !

Hi!  I am building a project management tool, and I have difficulty understanding how I can use my Project and Tasks table combined in a way I can get a gantt view of each project, with the tasks and subtasks nested.  When I create a gantt view in the projects table, it shows the projects, not the tasks and subtasks.In my mind, it would be something like opening a task table from each project line, but the system don't work like this.Thanks for anyone that can help. 

We send emails with prefilled linked to forms to thousands of users. Some macOS users running Safari cannot open the forms. They click on the link in their email client, and Safari opens a window showing nothing but a white background.Since we lack the staff to troubleshoot individual technical issues, we tell them to try Chrome or Firefox. But some users don't have other browsers installed and lack the skills to install a new one. The call I took last week was from a user who clearly wouldn't have been able to install extensions that could have interfered, leaving us puzzled.Is there anything else we can do to make our form more compatible with macOS and Safari? We are prefilling several fields, which remain hidden, and display a thank you page after submission. The form is opened by clicking a link in an email; it is not embedded into a Web site.

I tried using interface designer and it is a very cool feature. One thing I would suggest to have is a sharing the interface like a view. For example, I would like to share particular interface in read only mode and do not want the user to be able to go and see all contents of the base. Currently, if I give read-only permissions the user can go and see all tables in the base.

i was asked by a client of mine -when i upload an image or any other file - is it beeing screened for viruses or malware by airtable ? 

If I make multiple selections from a dropdown list is there a way to associate each of those selections with a specific selection from a different multiple selection field? Using the existing Product Catalog template as an example it is easy to understand what my issue is..... If I choose two+ items from the multiple select "Materials" field (ex. "Light Wood" & "Metal"), then choose one or more colors from the multiple select "Color" field (ex. "white" "brown" "black") I have no way of knowing which color is associated with which material. Is there a way to differentiate between having a "Light Wood" in "white" "brown" and "Metal" in "brown" "black" "white"?

Hi All. This posting from my side aims to seek solutions from you. When I went to ‘Update sync configuration’ in a synced table of my target/destination base (synced base), and I wanted to change the name of one of the two sources I used to sync its data to the target base’s synced table, I could not do it. This issue is because I named that relevant source a bit too long. As a result, I could not find the three-dot sign at the end of the source label, which can be used to edit synced fields or change/rename the source label. To sum up, the problem here is caused by the long name of the source mentioned; consequently, the three-dot button is not available for use. Would you please share your idea on how to resolve this problem? Thank you.

This doc states that when “you change cell values, … [etc.], the link will automatically update in real time to show the most up-to-date version of the view.” However, I’ve got a setup in which Typeform submissions trigger Zapier to find & update Airtable records, and I can’t get the Airtable iFrame (embedded on my site) to update in real time. Am I missing something?

Hi all,I have written an extension that links a project to various records in another table and, as a prototype, it works fine by using a specific project.Now, to roll the feature out, I need to pass the project name over to the script from an interface, so the steps are performed on that specific project. The obvious way would be to use a button and an automation. However, I can not find a way to connect the extension to the interface.Can someone point me in the right direction?Thanks you!

Very basic question: Some of the pages automatically display their title at the top and I cannot edit or remove it. Looks like this:Interface name / Page nameHowever, some of my pages don't display carry this title and I need to add it manually.For the sake of consistency, I would like all pages to show the title. I'm trying to format Canadian postal codes. Often the person enters them as k0e1b0. I need them to look like K0E 1B0. UPPER({PostCode}) will make them upper caseREPLACE({PostCode},4,0," ") will put the space in the middleHow can I do both of these steps in one formula field?

The CSV Import Extension is probably the most used extension for me on daily basis multiple times. I have about 6 different CSV templates that I import on almost daily basis and I am pleased how well it works… once it is setup. The issue is, the CSV Import Extension doesn’t allow saving the import profile for a specific CSV template. Of course I can create separate copies of the CSV Import Extension but I already have 6 copies of the extension. I read there are limits to how many extensions you can have installed. It says 20. But from what I read the number is limited to Airtable own extension but not to 3rd party extensions? Anyhow, having multiple copies of the extension is not ideal if I could somehow load saved configuration of the extension when I am going to use it. If I was using one extension for all imports, it wouldn’t work because the mapping will get messed up every time a difference CSV is imported. Being able to save the configuration

I have tried with some scripts, but am lost at this stage, and maybe my approach is all wrong.I have a table called 'Projects' which is my primary table. I have two columns in 'Projects' that are linked record type fields. One is called 'Meetings' and it links to a another (child) table where I capture meeting notes, attendees and the date. The other linked record type column in 'Projects' is called 'Tasks' and it is where I record actions for each project row, assign an owner, set a due date, etc.When I am on the 'Projects' tab and click to expand a linked 'Meeting' record that has been created, I can see the fields and input information mentioned. I have also created a button in the 'Meetings' table which shows on the pop-up that says 'Add Task".I am hoping that from clicking this button I can close the expanded 'Meetings' view, and trigger to create create a 'Task' linked record (per the same row I

I feel like this ought to be the easiest thing to do, but I am new to airtable and haven't been able to figure it out.Table 1 has a primary field with several dozen rows. Table 2 (in the same base) is a CSV imported from Shopify. Its primary field has entries that mostly, but not completely, match table 1 (there are a few entries in table 1 that do not match table 2 and vice versa).I want to create a field in table 1 that automatically imports the net sales data from table 2, matching up the entries in the primary field. By automatically, I mean that will fill the whole column rather than making me click on each cell, not that it has to update automatically or anything. any fields that don't match up can be blank or throw an error, I don't care.I tried using the linked function, but I could only get it to link to table 2 as a whole, with a second lookup column, forcing me to click on each cell and link manually to the primary field in table 2.  I know I'm m
