Hey guys,I'm creating a competency framework.I've these tables :- Jobs (lookup to "Competencies" table)- Competencies (6000 rows) with macro-competencies in column 2 (multiselect)- Macro-Competencies (600 rows) (isolated from but not linked to "Competencies")I'd like to re-create the link/lookup between "Competencies" and "Macro-Competencies" tables. I tried to replace the multiselect field "Macro-Competencies" in "Competencies" table by a LookUp field and the replacement looks good EXCEPT when Macro-Competencies fields contains a COMMA. Then, there is an (unwanted) "auto-split".Is there a way to AVOID this split when there is a comma into the datas ? Thanks in advance !

Hi, I recently ran a script to pull updated changes to our airtable into our application and all the urls to attachments changed. I looked it up and saw that this was to make them invalid after 2 hours. We were using them to point to images on our site so this means a big change in our workflow as we will now have to download the images from the API rather than pointing to them in airtable. We wanted to opt out of the change for now and schedule the work closer to Feb. We opted out in settings and I ran the script to pull the data and get the non-expiring urls. They are still showing in the browser as expired. I have re-run the script and the urls don't change. Does anyone know what is going on?

I need to get the price from another table and bring it to my booking table. The conditions must be based on the company and the route to bring the correct sale price registered in the Routes Price table,My airtable system is already working and I use the Company field as a lookup for the Customers table and the Routes field is just a single select.However, today, to form the sales price, I use the supplier's cost price, but this needs to be changed and the sales price needs to be added manually in another table to later appear. If customer is A and route is A show this price If the customer is B and the route is A show this price.

Hello, Airtable community!I'm looking for help with automation and linked records.I have an editable list record on an interface page that allows users to create a record in a specific tasks table, which has various linked records.I've managed to successfully set and run automation to set the user to match whoever creates the record. However is it possible to create an automation to update the project ID so it's associated with the record ID of the interface that they're in? Effectively updating the record that's just been created and linking it to the project that the task was created for. Currently, they can select - but I'd like it to auto-populate. Thanks,John 

The top right corner of a record's expanded view doesn't have a toggle to show revision history, as it used to - just a comment option, a link option, and the 3 "more" dots, which don't bring it up - see screenshot attached. The revision history option IS turned on (see screenshot attached of that too). How do I get that toggle switch back to see a record's revision history? Thank you!!

Hi! Is there any way to enter a start and end date with "no class dates" where it would remove the dates from the calendar view? I would also want the class to reoccur every Monday (sort of like google where you can say you want it to repeat every Mon).For example: I have a class that runs from Monday Sept 11 until December. It reoccurs every Monday except for on 10/9 and 11/6. On the calendar view, I want it to list Chemistry class every Monday from 3:30-4:30pm and want it to remove these two dates from a class date.Thanks!

I’m using the scripting app to send data via API request to another application. It’s currently functioning, and the other application is able to take the data and perform as required. However, I’m having trouble getting a response from the API request that doesn’t timeout. It works for one or two records, but beyond that it’ll return a Request Timeout error. Surprisingly, the code does wait for the function to be fully performed (I get a loading icon), but the response information doesn’t seem to be waiting. Is this a limitation with remoteFetchAsync/Airtable or is something wrong with my implementation? Alright, let me see if I can spell this out correctly.I have two databases, one of faculty and one of courses.Faculty can be assigned to any and all courses. Courses have different contracts depending on how they're paid -- FT, Adjunct, and NCI, which are three fields in the courses record, populated with the payment amount as appropriate.Let's say instructor A is linked to three different courses, one of each of the above.Currently, my linked column for Faculty A will show all three courses, then there's a Lookup referencing Adjunct, which shows me the correct amount -- but I don't know which of the three courses under the linked column that payment amount belongs to.Is there a way to filter the linked column to only display on the faculty record if the adjunct field is populated? My current work around is to duplicate the table, delete anything where adjunct is empty, and create another link, but that's clumsy when I add more courses or assign mo

I need users to be able to input data via mobile. Forms hasn't worked for some things for reasons I won't quite get into right now.Some records need to be input off a plan, which is in another table. On desktop, this works fine - I limit the linked record selection to a relevant view (otherwise I get all plans, irrelevant and past, etc). However this filter doesn't seem to work on the android mobile app... But I could have sworn in my earlier testing, that it did.It still works fine on desktop.Is this a known bug? Or have I upset something?

I have no idea how to make the title succinct and easy to understand, but here's what I want to do. I run a market garden. I am building a crop planning tool inside airtable. Throughout the year, the typical timings of events for different crops will change.For this example, we'll use my Weeks to Harvest calculation. In peak summer, lettuce will be ready to harvest 4 weeks after transplant. In the darkest part of winter, it'll take 8 weeks.Now, there is not a cut off date where suddenly it goes from taking 4 weeks to 8 weeks. So I want to be able to store the following data against a crop1) Fastest weeks to harvest (peak summer) - e.g. 42) Slowest weeks to harvest (dark winter) - e.g 83) Fastest date of the year (based on transplant date) e.g. Jan 14) Slowest

I have setup my new personal api token in Airtable and have followed the instructions for accessing it via GET call in Voiceflow yet my token refuses to grant data access to Voiceflow.   I'm fairly new to API calls so it could be that I'm missing some detail here.  I have included images showing all the steps I've followed and what information I'm using.  If there is anyone else that is having success with this, I would love any advice you can provide.  Thank you in advance!

I would like the filter element to apply to the linked option when creating a new record in the list element so that the user can select/filter which options they want to add as a new record in the list element.  For example, I want the list of materials to be filtered by the supplier in the filter element so that when creating the new record in the list element, only the options for a single supplier (specified in the filter element) are shown. Hello,I am trying to create an automation that will remove a selection from a record, if another selection is present. So as seen in the picture below, if a record has "Waitlist - Event 1" from the "Waitlist" field. It will REMOVE "Event 1" from the "Event(s) Attending" field.1. This is so, once Event 1 has reached registration capacity (100 people for this example), all further registrations will have their form selection removed, replaced with the waitlist selection in the next field.2. This will then send them an automated email informing them they have been waitlisted for whatever events have reached overcap.3. The waitlist events are in their own table and are linked records, the information between event data and event data (waitlist) are 99% identical, with the only difference being the word "waitlist" is added to the name for email automation and identification purposes.

Here's the situation. I need a base with 4 tables. Each table has inventory for 4 different types of products. Data for each record includes descriptors including single and multi-selects, text and most importantly the # available. The inventory manager would add this data. So far, pretty easy. Next, want to create a form so requestors can order from this inventory. Requestors would need to see the inventory available by type. As requestors fill out the form to place their order, we need to see the inventory amount change in real-time such that if user #one depletes the stock, user #2 will see a notice similar to "currently out of stock, will be ordered."  It would be nice if the inventory manager would be notified that a product would need to be ordered. There would also be the need on the form to order a product that is currently not in inventory. Not sure if the existing data sets would be used or just an open text box.Can Airtable do this?

I run a table that keeps track of content my team creates for a digital billboard. When we hear about new content, our project manager builds out a production schedule based on the date the content is supposed to go live on screen.To help my PM with scheduling, I used formulas to populate some milestone columns (initial concepts due, kickoff to production, multiple creative reviews, etc...) with some estimated days for each step in the process. Hello!We are attempting to connect using OAuth 2 but the development team says they are not getting any answers from Airtable.We are being asked to login first - which we do, succesfully.Afterwards, we are being asked to select the base and be granted access.That's fine but after we click Grant Access, nothing happens. I’m loving the idea of the SendGrid block, but from my experimentation, it appears emails can be sent only as plain text, which is virtually useless. SendGrid’s API makes it very easy to specify emails as HTML. Am I missing an option to send as HTML? This is the difference between a wildly useful tool and one that offers minimal utility.

Hello everyone - and Merry Christmas! So I am playing around with a table that contains several Records with dates in the future (new Records are being added from time to time). The Records will be made by colleagues in one department and then taken care of in another department. Right now I've made an Automation that sends an email to people from the other department with all the info they need from the specific Record so that they can complete the task straight from their inbox. However: I want to be sure that they actually do it; or in other words: I want to be sure that Records aren't forgotten. Is there a nice way to accomplish this? I thought of adding a Button to the email so that when my colleague in the other department finished the task, they could click on that Button and it will be registred in Airtable on the specific Record; however I don't see that's an option. I hope to find a solution in here!
