Hi all, I have a base that date and timestamps new records. But since I had to import thousands of records from an old spreadsheet, it doesn’t correctly reflect the original date/time in the CREATED TIME field. So I created a field called DATE + TIME - MANUAL that is a date field that has the original submitted dates for the old records. All future records will get a submitted date/time in the DATE + TIME - AUTOMATIC field. In a third field called DATE + TIME SUBMITTED, I need to use a formula to say that, for a new record, if the DATE + TIME SUBMITTED - MANUAL field is blank, to use the data in the DATE + TIME SUBMITTED - AUTOMATIC field, but using this formula doesn’t bring in the data from the automatic field if the manual field is blank:IF(NOT(BLANK({Date + Time Submitted - Manual})),      {Date + Time Submitted - Manual},      {Date + Time Submitted - Automatic})Am I doing something incorrectly? I've been using Pabbly with Airtable for a long time, suddenly today I'm having to update the connection data. No problem, I have done that before. Today, I get this message that pops up while connecting in the Pabbly dashboard. I assume the message is coming from Airtable - “invalid_client”My airtable account just renewed and there was as issue, but that is settled and my account is paid. I created a support ticket, but I hoped a user might understand what is happening.

I have an existing table with 800+ records (imported from a CSV). Now, I’d like to add an image for each record (import from a folder of PNGs–with matching file names). Is there a way to do this in bulk? Example Records: Name, Type1, Type2, Image Abomasnow, Grass, Ice, [to add: abomasnow.png] Aerodactyl, Rock, Flying, [to add: aerodactyl.png] Aggron, Steel, Rock, [to add: aggron.png] etc.

I have a strange one. There is a single line text field in my table definition (‘active’), but it’s not showing up in the API doc for that table, and the API throws an error when including that field in the get requested. I’ve deleted and re-added the field to no avail.  

Any ideas on how to connect Airtable to Replit? TIA

Hi All, very new to AT!  But this has been an incredible community but I haven’t been able to find an answer to this question:I have a column on Table A called “System A Identifier”I have a column on Table B called “System B Identifier” The column on Table A will ALWAYS have more data than the one in Table B.  I would like to create a Table C that links to the “System A Identifier” in table A and a new column that shows me a “Exists: or “Missing” value if that record is available or not based on the field “System B Identifier” column. I think an IF formula is the way to go, i just have not been able to figure it out. Thanks!

In my Contacts table I have 2 types (single-select) - “non-profit” and “legal” - and a linked record field to a Requests table. The Request record has two Lookup fields pointing to Contacts - one a lookup filtered by a view of nonprofit-type only, the other filtered by a view of legal-type only.  This is so my user can quickly distinguish the two types assigned to the request.Now, I add 1 contact to each of the two fields in the Request. I would expect to see both Contacts linked to that Request. But the only Contacts shown as linked to that request are those entered in the first (“nonprofit”) column. If I force a “legal” contact into that first Request column, It shows up as expected on the Contact side.I’m not understanding something about how linked records work. How should I structure the linkages between these fields across the two tables?  thx

Hello, I am trying to use a lookup field from another sheet.  It seems that I can only search by the primary field, not by the field I have selected as the source.  For example:Sheet 1 - Primary field: Job #Job #: 1234Job Name: Sheet 2Lookup field in sheet 1 - Job Name: (I can search for Job # (1234), but not by job name. Is there a way to fix this or work around?

I have an object that I output from another script using the Output.Set(key: value) method. The value that I’m passing is an array of json objects. It seems that there are a lot of objects to transform the object but I would prefer to just pass the object to my script to iterate over the object and use dot notation to get the values that I would like.  I don’t see anything that just lets me keep the object as is and pass it through input.config only transforms or operations like length? Is there no way to pass an array or object??    

How do I duplicate records with Create Automation but not linked to original record?This is for purposes of taking Project Schedule snapshots and currently the data in the new table where the records are getting created, remains linked to the original data.This means the data which I want to be a snapshot is getting updated when changes are made to the original data. 

I have it set so that users can change the sort order in a grid view interface, but how can I set the default sort order that is displayed when the view is accessed?  The interface is embedded into a website for public viewing, and I can’t figure out how to set the default order to be a logical one for most viewers.  Suggestions?

I have a column of numbers. I would like to be able to press a button on an interface and set all values in that column for all rows to zero using a button automation trigger.  Could someone please give a step by step guide?I can create an interface button linked to a record picker that updates the values one at a time… but that is quite tedious.  Please advise, thank you! 

I was looking at the API reference... why is there no method to retrieve an element by a field that is defined as PK? That … is basic DB functionality. Currently the only way to use GET (HTTP) to retrieve a record, is with a value no one knows and that can only be calculated via the RECORD_ID() function (... after you already have the record!)To me this .. is so weird haha :-)Is it me? What I would expect is that Airtable allows via the API to query the table with AT LEAST the PK values.

However, I am confused by how to update fields like single select and multi select. Example: I have a table that has a field of singleselect, and all I want to do is update the single select to have an additional choice. what url would I need to use to update the field? I have a send email automation set up to email purchase orders to people in the company. I have a department correspondant cc'd on the email based on the department of the purchase order. When I received the email both my name was in the "to" email and the "cc" part of the email.Only the person in the company should be on the "to" part of the email the department correspondent should only be on the "cc" part of the emailThe department correspondent was on the cc and to part of the email but the airtable settings only have the department correspondent on the "cc" of the email automation 

Hello!I am running into an issue where the field count is almost maxed out on two tables in my base and I need the ability to add more fields. In both of the tables, there are many fields that are used for reporting/stats. I considered moving all of those fields to another table but it’s not quite working out.I do closing coordination for real estate agents. The two tables in question are the Properties table and Contacts table.The Properties table has records for each contract. The Contacts table has records for each of my agents. Each property record is linked to the agent for that contract in the Contacts table. Reporting in the Properties table is done based on the agent for things like properties under contract, properties closed X amount of days ago, etc. Reporting in the Contacts table is done based on the agent using rollup/formula fields that reference the Properties table for things like average sales

Hi there, when I sync’d my Airtable to my Google Drive, it automatically sync’d with My Drive. Is there a way to sync it in a Shared Drive or to a specific folder within the Shared Drive? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

We have one workspaces that our team shares, and it’s a nightmare to organize all the bases that exist in the workspace. How do people organize all the different bases in one workspace?

Is there any way to set up an inventory tracking system where someone can scan a QR code, and fill out a form of what they are checking out as well as checking back in?The issue I’m running into is that its fairly easy to create a form with a drop down of what you’re checking out, but when it comes to quantity of what's being checked out, that's where it gets tricky, unless you create a sperate quantity field for each individual piece of equipment, which if you can imagine, you have hundreds of different pieces of equipment, that is extremely inefficient not to mention the form it self would have hundreds of conditional fields. What I had imagined is for example, I scan a QR code, a form comes up, I check out 5 harnesses, 3 lanyards, and 10 beam clamps and click submit. On the user interface, I can look at who checked it out, what equipment they have what department they are etc. When checking back in, they similarly scan a QR code and fill in what they returned.
